I would have been freaked out a little if I saw clouds like that.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

raining here now - held off long enough for the sox to come back against the evil empire

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I hear thunder in the distance...here we go again.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

It just started pouring.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Wha, I was so afraid they would call it when NY went ahead. No rain here now, yet. I didn't get much done outside today as it didn't clear off until the afternoon. I took some photos and got a bunch of things ready to pop into the garden tomorrow. Patti

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

60 now going up to 80... more rain today

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Damp and foggy, but no rain yet. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

63. The rest is still the same...

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

supposed to have showers here and then clear this afternoon - with possible t-storm/shower early this evening - glad we had some nice rain to water all those gifts from patti - btw patti those oakleaf hydran's must be mutants all have a new leaf on them only after a couple days in the ground? either that or they popped back to life

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

We had 3 storms roll thru overnight(at least what I had heard) cloudy and nasty again today. When's it gonna end?????

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sun is actually peeping out right now!

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Victor, please send it to me, we had monsoon all night and morning
Weather so far this June has not been very kind

Thomaston, CT

Drizzling & 60s---our paper this morn had a quote---"Rainy days were invented so gardeners could get their housework done"---yippee---that's what I'll be doing soon.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

wha, it is your green thumb with those little Oakleaf Hydrangea. Here are some of what I brought you. It has been sprinkling on and off this morning, but the fog has lifted. Patti

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Kinda steamy!! UGH 80 now

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

green thumb? i kicked a hole with my foot and covered them back up:)

South Hamilton, MA

oured rain last night & early this morning. cut a couple of the family peonies & brought them inside so i could enjoy them. Iris flowers waterlogged--there go the chances for end of the yr crosses, especially as my MTB cross didn't take.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sun is peeking but making it so steamy out there, I can't breathe. YUCK!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Me neither, Jen. I closed up the house this morning and turned on the AC. It's set at 80, but keeps the air dry and it feels so much cooler. What a difference when coming in from outside.

South Hamilton, MA

Cool & after 4 days of rain irises are gone bye without a chance to make further planned crosses & see new seedlings.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

The fog is moving in. Sprinkled on and off all day, but I got a mess of stuff planted. I tried Wha's planting method. Heel dig, plant drop, toe dirt drag and fill then a stomping. But went back to the trowel very quickly. Patti

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Actually saw some sun this pm! 66 degrees right now and saw my first lightening bug of the year tonight.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Heavy fog persisting. Patti

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Same weather here Patti.
Been out weeding some, small snails about 1cm are eating up foliage of the dahlia, grr, wonder what I should do to get rid of them besides picking them off.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

A liberal amount of garlic, butter and away they go!

My chef son's uses Basil fed snails in his dishes in New Orleans. But check here first. This was a good article. Patti

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Patti, thanks, great article just read it. Though I enjoy eating escargots I don't want to eat those tiny, miserable pests. Never had them before like this. Off I will go with garlic, good thing I have plenty of that plus butter.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
