Today's Weather in Your Garden - 47

Williamstown, NJ(Zone 6b)

Looks like sun here today.

South Hamilton, MA

Also down in the 40s last night & we are farther south, sun predicted today, rain tomorrow.

Alfred Station, NY(Zone 5b)

Finally sun yesterday, and 70-ish, and looks like sun today and mid-70's at least. Then back to the rain tomorrow and off and on through the weekend....

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

It got down to 54 last night high of 70, started off sunny, they say rain likely tonight.
Tree guys are coming today.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Yeah, Jen, I got the rain also. A day without rain has become rare indeed. The sun is shining now but it's very chilly.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

cool last night - full sun today and maybe 70

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

It is 66' here with sunshine, had to look up google to find out what that bright light was.
Suppose to rain every day for the next 7 days

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Good morning, Maria! I heard that same weather forecast, too, but I am simply refusing to believe it! It's such a perfect day today, it will be sad to think that it may be the last nice day for a while! DSIL is playing hooky from work and has pointed his motorcycle towards Loudon today. I hope he stays safe and has a good time.

As for the weather in my neck of the woods right now:
Clear as a bell and just as striking
61° and headed for a possible high of 78°
Wind: slight breeze
Humidity: 69%
Dewpoint: 49°
Pressure: 30.26 in. and steady

Ahhhhhh .... perfect!

Thomaston, CT

Can't believe there's sun---I feel like a mole---the sun did come out yesterday during art class, & I had a good time! It was the only time in a week that I felt warm---

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

I hear you, robindog. It was the same for me. I was warm for perhaps an hour ... and then the sun went down. It sure was a pretty evening, though.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

70 and damp. It has stopped raining for now, and the sun is trying to come out. We'll see how long it lasts.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sun is now gone, I expected that. Very chilly breeze.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Absolutely gorgeous here. The kiddos and I had a peanut-butter-and-jelly picnic outside. Heaven!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

It's suddenly gotten humid. DH is sweating alot as he's trying to finish paintind DD's room. She's gone for the week ,so now was the time to do it. She comes back Fri.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Lovely cool, but sunny day, very calm. NO RAIN. Patti

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

still sunny here and hope the weather is not too bad this weekend we have firends coming over and plans for a big fire down back.

South Hamilton, MA

Sunny & low 70s--can only work short periods in the sun. Rain coming tomorrow but not until evening says the weather lady. She had better be right.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Sunny all day and 75 w/slight breeze.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Ahhhhhhh ......

Thomaston, CT

We never hit 70---65 was it, with a chilly breeze---felt good, though, as I mowed & weed whacked---tried to wash windows---got 4 done---only 21 more to go!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Don't think it hit 70 here today. Cloudy and rainy off and on.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

We actually got up to 68, here by the lake. But, oh my!, was it ever wonderful to be outside!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Figures the second I pull out of the driveway to go food shopping it starts to rain. Just enough to turn the wipers on low. It stopped and now it's just chilly and cloudy.

Yonkers, NY(Zone 5b)

We're supposed to get rain after midnight tonight & all day tomorrow.
More showers on Fri, Sat & maybe Sun.
Not only rain... chilly 50's & 60's!
UGH! UGH! UGH!

HEY! MOTHER NATURE!!
Check your calendar! SUMMER begins on Sunday!
Apparently her calendar's months are:
March
April
May
March

Will July be June?
Or are we doomed to be stuck in March?

I repeat: UGH! UGH! UGH!

Nancy.... who can't believe she's wearing a SWEATSHIRT in June!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Same here, Flowerjen. I think it's supposed to do this tomorrow too. Grrr!

on one hand I am sort of enjoying the cooler weather.. just can't stand all the rain and that the garden is growing strange this year.. looks like somethings are going crazy and some not so much

61 now going up to 69... supposed to be heavy rain today

Williamstown, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yes the gardens are liking this rain and cool weather, mostly the ones that were just put in this year. But I agree the ones that need full sun are not doing all that well. Full SUN? whats that?....lol

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Hard rain and WIND as I type. YUCK! I have to take mom to the dentist this morning. She lost a filling.

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

If the weather keeps up my gardens will be inundated with mold, looks like rain again, right now temp. is 59'

Rain again and cool - the only thing that is growing is Grass!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Sherrie ... weeds are growing at an alarming rate, too!

I'm so happy that I enjoyed yesterday to the fullest, being outside most of the day pulling weeds and making Anna happy so that she didn't have to pull weeds this weekend. But, today? I just want to crawl back into bed and pull the covers up over my head for a nice long nap! Rain! Rain! Rain!

Sorry mom lost a filling, Jan. I know from experience that it can be very painful!

Would you all believe that I started the wood stove this morning to knock back the damp chillies? Imagine! A wood fire in the middle of June!

Currently:
Cloudy and rainy
53° and very raw
Humidity: 83%
Dewpoint: 48°
Pressure: 30.11 in. and falling
The forecast calls for more on and off rain through until Monday. I am not impressed.

Candyce - I got up at 4 and instead of chunking up the fireplace - I went back to bed. Good grief - I must be getting old!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

LOL!
If I could have gone back to bed, I think I would have! Oh well, I can organize photos, or plan my newest shade garden to look like Bill's, or just do housework. I wonder which one will win out?

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

UMMM... I know the answer, call on me!! It's the middle choice.

We made out great at the dentist and the rain cooperated enough to get her out and in. She does have to get a tooth pulled, though. There is some infection. Now, to call the oral surgeon.

I'd like to crawl back in for a nap. It is just gloomy!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

So far the rain has stopped, they are fiishing redoing our street. We'll see how long the rain stays away. I think it's supposed to came back later.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Thanks, Jan. I knew I could count on you for the correct answer!
^_^

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Rain, rain, rain...do ya think the tree guys will be out in this????

I looked at the satellite pics and it looks like there is clearing to the east so hopefully we'll catch a break later this afternoon, if the clouds keep moving, that is.

Allison, I too, am actually enjoying the cooler weather, I hate the hot weather anymore.

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

75'for summer without humidity, gentle showers while I sleep is my idea of weather for this time of year and to last till October, I can dream can't I?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

lol

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Candyce - we have our wood stove going too....it got up to 77 yesterday afternoon, but now it's around 57 and raining most of the day. I keep getting bumped out of the internet with this wonderful Wild Blue service (fair weather friend that it is!). Before I forget....please check out my thread on a possible RU here in the fall on the Northeast forum. Until I see if it would be a go, I'm not yet putting it on the Roundup forum. Hope many of you would consider coming! We'll see if there's enough interest. If so, I'll have to meet with the Wildlife Actors Guild to see if any of the contract players will make a pass through on the outdoor stage. LOL
