Also down in the 40s last night & we are farther south, sun predicted today, rain tomorrow.
Finally sun yesterday, and 70-ish, and looks like sun today and mid-70's at least. Then back to the rain tomorrow and off and on through the weekend....
It got down to 54 last night high of 70, started off sunny, they say rain likely tonight.
Tree guys are coming today.
Yeah, Jen, I got the rain also. A day without rain has become rare indeed. The sun is shining now but it's very chilly.

Good morning, Maria! I heard that same weather forecast, too, but I am simply refusing to believe it! It's such a perfect day today, it will be sad to think that it may be the last nice day for a while! DSIL is playing hooky from work and has pointed his motorcycle towards Loudon today. I hope he stays safe and has a good time.

I hear you, robindog. It was the same for me. I was warm for perhaps an hour ... and then the sun went down. It sure was a pretty evening, though.

We never hit 70---65 was it, with a chilly breeze---felt good, though, as I mowed & weed whacked---tried to wash windows---got 4 done---only 21 more to go!

We actually got up to 68, here by the lake. But, oh my!, was it ever wonderful to be outside!
Figures the second I pull out of the driveway to go food shopping it starts to rain. Just enough to turn the wipers on low. It stopped and now it's just chilly and cloudy.
We're supposed to get rain after midnight tonight & all day tomorrow.

on one hand I am sort of enjoying the cooler weather.. just can't stand all the rain and that the garden is growing strange this year.. looks like somethings are going crazy and some not so much

Yes the gardens are liking this rain and cool weather, mostly the ones that were just put in this year. But I agree the ones that need full sun are not doing all that well. Full SUN? whats that?....lol
Hard rain and WIND as I type. YUCK! I have to take mom to the dentist this morning. She lost a filling.
If the weather keeps up my gardens will be inundated with mold, looks like rain again, right now temp. is 59'

I'm so happy that I enjoyed yesterday to the fullest, being outside most of the day pulling weeds and making Anna happy so that she didn't have to pull weeds this weekend. But, today? I just want to crawl back into bed and pull the covers up over my head for a nice long nap! Rain! Rain! Rain!

We made out great at the dentist and the rain cooperated enough to get her out and in. She does have to get a tooth pulled, though. There is some infection. Now, to call the oral surgeon.
I'd like to crawl back in for a nap. It is just gloomy!
So far the rain has stopped, they are fiishing redoing our street. We'll see how long the rain stays away. I think it's supposed to came back later.

I looked at the satellite pics and it looks like there is clearing to the east so hopefully we'll catch a break later this afternoon, if the clouds keep moving, that is.
Allison, I too, am actually enjoying the cooler weather, I hate the hot weather anymore.
75'for summer without humidity, gentle showers while I sleep is my idea of weather for this time of year and to last till October, I can dream can't I?

Candyce - we have our wood stove going too....it got up to 77 yesterday afternoon, but now it's around 57 and raining most of the day. I keep getting bumped out of the internet with this wonderful Wild Blue service (fair weather friend that it is!). Before I forget....please check out my thread on a possible RU here in the fall on the Northeast forum. Until I see if it would be a go, I'm not yet putting it on the Roundup forum. Hope many of you would consider coming! We'll see if there's enough interest. If so, I'll have to meet with the Wildlife Actors Guild to see if any of the contract players will make a pass through on the outdoor stage. LOL
