Just started to rain, always happens have to go pick up my son in 1/2 hour. Maybe it'll be over by then.

WOW, Jen. It's been sunny and hot and HUMID all day. In the 80's. This morning the humidity was 90%.
I hate it when it's humid!
Breezy right now and you can kinda feel it's trying to cool off.
So.... thank God it wasn't pouring when I went to pick up my son, it was just kinda drippy.
Now it's hjeading to the 80's and getting a little humid. DH is cutting grass before it trys to rain again. When he's done I'll try to weed some more.
Bill, I'll bet your yard and home could easily be on a Grand Tour, from what I've seen. I agree with Jumper that your walls are far more desirable. They have character and "provenance".
We sure do need some rain here!
Rain coming here very soon----most of tomorrow----most of the week---grrrr-----need to get out & do more weeding, mulching, fertilizing, picture-taking---but I know we need the rain----I'm torn!
well we had a nasty thunderstorm last night... woke me and the dogs up... Jily is terrified and had to come hide by momma!... nothing like sleeping with a yorkie in your arm pit :)

We haven't had Evening Grosbeaks in years----great birds! It was in the 50s all day, foggy, too----this morn some awful T-storms--- lightning looked like a big yellow ball as it struck somewhere to the east of us---rattled the house. Warmer tomorrow.

Whew!! After all that work, I'd hate to see them all rot! I don't have my dahlias in yet. They are sprouting all over the place! I have some mini-dahlias in planters, but now it'll be next week before I can get the red ones in.
