Hello All,

I know most of you have gone to bed already but I'm posting anyways. Because I have a busy day tomarrow, and probably won't get on until late afternoon. First of all I finally got my metal arch yep, and all by myself too. Geez, Mom just sat there watching me struggle with the darn thing and never offered to help,lol. It's bent on one side, I guess from too many moves. Then I got most of my flowers planted. My next job will be to tackle the mess to the right of the picture and try to start some Morning Glories.

I'm going to go to Curves here and see what it's like. Stopped by the other day to check it out. It is a lot smaller than the one in Marysville and the gal tells me the strecthing gym is coming soon. I don't know where they are going to put it. They have one machine that the other Curves doesn't have so that will be interesting.They don't open until 7 am, drats I like starting at 6. Oh well. Then when I get back I have to take Mom for her eye surgery and that takes 3 hours, and I have to stay there in case something goes wrong. Man thats 3 hours I could be working on the garden some more. Will be doing that all this week, because on the 17th we leave for Oregon for 3 weeks. Also finishing my R,W,& B swap pressie.

Trisha, tell Laura she needs to check in with the Birthday club.

I found a bunch of old bricks and some rocks so I made this planter. I put Dahlias, Lilies, Mexican Petunis (short type from Deborah) and Foxglove in there.

BJ, I have some Brugs I want to send you they are dark yellow and white and green striped with dark pink end. Will do that before I leave for Oregon ^_^

OK, have a busy day and I'm dragging,slept a whole 2 hours........LOL.My Dupont Co-op order is to arrive today ,so I'll need to get other stuff done so I can get them potted up.Now if my Tropical Co-op order would just get here...but I know Debbie has been overwhelmed.Soooooooo many plants and no help!!!!!!!

Tried to get stuff done yesterday...made half way through the day and got company,I hate when people just pop in and stayyyyyyy forever.Rick only got just half of the yard mowed,now he will have finish after he's worked all day.I hate that went it's hot and I know he tried,he didn't even get to bed til late...didn't want to get up this mornin.

Supposed to be in the 80's again today...thank goodness!!!! But we do need rain.Has only rained once in over a month.I read on here that somewhere in ND got 2 inches of snow on the Saturday,I would totally lose my mind ...LOL.

This morning Kel had to rush his father to the hospital. He's been coughing up blood. Going through tests this morning, and still haven't found out what's causing that. Please say a prayer for FIL.

Going through posts again.. my brain cells are quickly disappearing this morning.. forgive me.

Janice, I am so glad you were given a wonderful surprise b'day party. Actually dear sistah, that was your second.. you forgot the one you had at BJ's. Too bad we couldn't stay longer at BJ's to have a piece of that cake.
And yes, friends can be better than relatives.

Lisa, good luck on the second time around. Stick to counseling until you both have the tools necessary to make this works.

Mornin' Girlfriends !!!

Got Don off to work this morning after having him underfoot for a week... now, I don't know what to do with myself... Oops... yes I do... I'm going to get Phyllis this morning, and she's going to "change my attitude" about these darn boat covers. Also have 2 teenagers underfoot too... my life is not my own.

No new YELLOW leaves on the potted brugs this morning... so the clear water flush might have worked... ***WHEW***
But, I took so many bottom leaves off yesterday that now they look like they've been given a crew cut... a bit top heavy.

So sorry to hear about your FIL this morning, Jaye... he's in my prayers... please let him know we're thinking of him... Kel too.

Well, I'm off to Tyler in the little red pepper to retrieve Sistah Phyllis...
sheesh... she's also teaching me to text, by sending me messages all morning... I'm just really slow at it, and all she's gotten is one word replies.

I hope they find out soon about FIL. not knowing is the worst kind of worry.
BJ, upholstery isn't hard, especially since you have the old covers to go by. I've reupholstered auto seats before and also did the headliner in the Jeep. Don't let it make you think it's an awesome job. It's really quite simple.

today is going into my fourth day without a smoke, and this morning was much easier than any so far. will almost be a week! yippee,,,am I on my way???? hope so. lol

Coffee sure does taste good. Got my RWB swap off this morning along with some quilt blocks I promised. It feels good to be productive again.

Hey Marilyn you got that right it isn't as hard as people make it out to be and with the old covers it should be a snap....I promise girls BJ will be a happy camper by weds. evening LOL cause she is coming to get PJ and Millie and we are gonna get the job done.

Marilyn I'm SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! Now that you have passed the three day mark it's safe to tell you that there is no more nicotine in your system!!! From now on it is strictly a matter of changing a habit. Keep taking deep breaths and try to keep your hands occupied with something. I'll even send you some Tootsie Pops if it will help. I also find I drink a lot more water than I used to. But this is a good thing because I used to dehydrate very quickly. Way to go girl....

Know you are busy Cindy but I wanted to say Hi. Sounds like things are going so much better for you. Hope this finds things easier for your Mom....

Just got word from Kel who's with his dad.
They found a tumor in his lung.
So, we're putting on the armor of God, and asking you prayer warriors to include him in your prayers.
His name is Murdock.
Also pray for Kel and his mum that their strength and faith in Him never cease.

Jaye I'm praying so hard for Murdock. And for Kel and the all of you. God is great and will be your strength.

Jaye, so sorry to hear about this new problem for Kel's Dad. I know how concerned you all must be. I know that you all have the strength to deal with this but sorry that it is necessary. Will keep all of you in my heart.

Boy, Kel can certainly use giant armwraps too. When I talked to him, big fella was practically lost for words.. And those that have seen Kel in person, that's impossible.

I just had to drop in today for a minute and Jaye, prayers and hugs going on here for you, Kel and his family. I think we all have just got to trust and pray at this point. Please give Kel a hug huge for me and please keep us updated on how his Dad is doing. Barb, same for you about Norm.

Kim and I took Mom to the local Walmart today as my sister is not a shopper at all! They had remodeled the store and we pushed Mom in the wheelchair up and down every row---oh my she had a ball. Ended up buying just some peaches but I could tell from her actions and the way she was chattered she had fun. That is all Kim and I wanted for her was to enjoy herself and look 'til her hearts content.

Well check back when I can, storms are coming in fast so time is limited and the slowness make it difficutl.

Linda Kay Dr has given me Ambien........NON NO NO ,I did weird stuff in my sleep ,It's a wonder I didn't burn down the house ! Not good.........

My sister gave me Ambien to help me out.. err.. let's say I used only once.

OH Jaye, I'm so sorry to hear about Kel's papa. Lots of prayers for you and Kel.

Mom is sleeping right now. Only took 15 min. for surgery, will go back tomarrow for follow up.

LK, here is a pix of one of the Passies Indigo Dream. I was in a co-op and out of 7 plants only 2 survived. 1 was dead when I got it. I've never had good luck with Passies, I've had 2 before and they both died :(

Well ,one thing that may not be letting me sleep is when I went to the Dr Friday he doubled my Cymbalta......it's for depression ,but they give it to me for the pain.And it has helped !!!!! The anti inflammatory the orthopedic dr gave me tore up my stomach BAD.And on top of the Double Cymbalta he gave me diet pills to try and get some weight off before surgery.So needless to say I am flying just under radar........but in a good way.I was on the diet pills last summer and the made me feel so much better.But in the state of Ohio you can only be on them 3 months and off 6 months.Even my Dr thinks that is wrong,but that's our Government.
