WOW you girls have been busy today. Jaye, sorry to hear about your FIL. How old is he?

Cindy, glad your Mom came through her surgery OK. Eye surgery has come a long way from when I was a young nurse. Back then a cataract surgery put you in bed for a week with your head held still with sand bags. Sometimes progress is a good thing. :0) How much sun do the Passion Vines need? They are gorgeous. Bet they wouldn't work for me here.

Synda, I'm new to this group over here, so I don't know what kind of surgery you are up against, but these things have a way of working out. It is scary though and no one is a worse patient then I am. Hate doctors. Always have, always will. Guess that's one of the many reasons I gave up nursing.

BJ thanks for the heads up on the manure tea for the brugs. I have a Frosti Pink right now that is loaded with blooms and looking pretty sickly. Figured out today on closer inspection that it is infested with spider mites. Sprayed the heck out of it and hopefully it will come around. It is always the first to bloom.

Don't mean to miss anyone, I know I did. Gotta run to start dinner. Chicken and saffron rice tonight.

I need to get a breast reduction.Being so heavy they are putting my body in a spiral and tearing the ligaments and tendions for the bones ,shoulders,hips knees.....and God only knows what else....LOL.

Ladies,let me tell you,you all are very lucky that you can drive and go when you want to.I hate man that are so freaking cold hearted it is unreal.I found a vet that deals with geese,but my COLD HEARTED HUSHAND said she is not worth taken to get checked out.Man like that is not a man at all.Their may be a few of them that isn't are not who knows,but the ones that are cold hearted that need to open their eyes and see what life is all about.

Oh Cody, sorry to hear that. I thought this husband was a good guy? You don't drive? Isn't there someone who could take you?

Cindy i can't drive.No i have no one to take me plus he would not pay for it.I know one thing people hide their true side until the words I DO comes out.I will just try to do the best i can for her.

Graduation was huge success, and the weather did cooperate rained early...but we still didn't have a fire.
Recived many compliments on the gardens, since the last time anyone seen them they were a bunch of weeds grown into jungles.
But Jumangi was the hit of the party...LOL, Jumangi is my pot girl. I gave her a new doo, a variagated corkscrew, that is perrenial, she's gorgous!

Cindy, yes, glad to hear Moms eye surgery went well...

Smells like rain, better get out there for a tiny bit.

Hi everyone - Sounds like this was a difficult day for a lot of you. Hugs and prayers from me.

This was grocery day for me. It is always a long day. Didn't get to nap until almost 4pm and I no sooner laid down than my DH got up and was ready for evening coffee. Oh well...poor me - lol !

It rained here this morning. I didn't need to water the new transplants. It is clouding up here now, so I think we are in for some more rain.

Juanita - I was a nurse too. I worked a surgical unit in a metro hospital. Where did you work ?

Jaye - You are from Singapore ! How interesting ! Tell me more.

Oh - When I was putting the groceries away, I spotted a red tailed hawk sitting on the fence in the back yard. My neighbor has a birdfeeder there, and I think the hawk was waiting for lunch. I know all creatures have to eat, but I don't want to watch. Anyway, the hawk was beautiful.

Funny - I moved from the country, but since we have been in this duplex in town, I have seen five deer, chipmunks, the hawk, rabbits, and there is a resident groundhog ! I was going to save the strawberry tops for the chippie, but after seeing the hawk I changed my mind.

I can't believe it is 7:15pm already. Time to mindlessly watch tv for awhile. I do hope all of you have better days ahead. As I said, prayers and hugs...

Here is a picture of the hawk waiting for lunch to fly in. This is the back of the yard for the duplex. I didn't plant anything back here. My neighbor put those plants in - I think Barb said they are black eyed susans. My garden is beside the back door. Our duplex location is kinda odd. To the back, there is a store your stuff place. To one side there are more duplexes like this one. On the other side, there is a screen printing shop and a mold and dye shop In front, we are in a regular residential neighborhood !

Quick story about renting here. My DH brought home a phone number that was on the sign in front of this duplex. I looked at it and it seemed so familiar. I called and to my amazement it belongs to the mold and dye plant where my ex-husband used to work when we were married. So, his old boss is now my landlord. Small world. Ya gotta behave - lol !

Jaye, so sorry to hear about Murdock. Do they know yet if it is operable? Will keep him and the rest of the family in our prayers. Give Kel a big hug and tell him we are thinking of him.

The base of the birdbath has 4 different types of Basil planted in it….the circle around it will be Sages rock collection……we may eventually expand it to include a ring of flowers on the outside.

Going to have to start scolding Synda along with Cody about getting to bed at night

Marilyn keep up the good work…Laura got a bit side tracked but is starting over again tomorrow….we will get her through this one of these days…

Got up and We worked on cleaning out the office/Sage room until Bill’s customer showed up then I left and took Laura to do her grocery shopping at Wally World….we stopped by Safeway to pick up a few things she couldn’t get at WalMart and there had just been a wreck at the intersection. The police had gotten there yet so I walked down to check it out while Laura got her few things in the store. The poor girl who was at fault was driving her boyfriends car, had two small children 2 and 4 years old….no license and no insurance. Turned out her sister lives in my sons old duplex just around the corner from me. Since the police wouldn’t allow her to move the car I ended up driving her to her sisters (we couldn’t get her on the phone) and Sean and Sage met me there and gave me a ride back to my car. I just couldn’t see her getting stranded in the parking lot with two little kids.

So now I am going to make a cup of coffee and take a walk around the yard…..planning what I need to do to turn my tiny back yard into an Outdoor Room….it will be a long while before I can afford to do much…just a bit here and a bit here….but at least I can start getting it on paper and dream about it….

My youngest bother Shawn just called,he took Denise(SIL) to the hosp. and they just got out.She has Kidney Stones.....

It's OK....I take HAPPY PILLS to Deal with MEN!!!!!!!!! There.....LOL. Yes they have,They gave me the Cymbalta for the Fibro pain ,and now they are doing there job.Actually weeded the one flower bed today.......YAY !!!!!!!! Hardly any pain.

Dr put me on diet pills to ,I took then last summer and they help me sleep........weird !!!!!!!

Synda,that is great.Now you will be able to get some sleep tonight.

I can't take no kind of diet pill,because of my meds.

YES !!!!!!! But the state only will let you have the diet pills for 3 months and then off 6 months.....dumb rule.

Thats a bummer.........
