Boojum What is that yellow plant with the Siberian Iris?
I'll d-mail

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Thanks Victor. I have always called it QAL as well. Here, there really is a yarrow that is wild. So, wild yarrow for QAL would greatly confuse me. lol not that that's hard to do.
Allison.... great pictures! all of them. I love that iris from the co op too!
Boo.... I like your views.
Robin... very pretty! I'll have to think about later blooming zone 5 rhodies.

Mornin RC
Nice pix as usual.I'm waiting for sun so I can pic the timy baby siberian iris.
Just planted a small division a month ago and I will see a bloom this week.
I thought
1 they might not bloom until next year
2 they might croak duering the winter.
The heat just came on, guess its another cold night Krapps for the coleus.
This might be my last year for them.Too much fussing.

Good morning Jo Ann. Nice job with the iris. It sounds happy. I agree with you completely on the coleus! I don't deal with that stuff unless it's for a special reason. I believe that I've had 3 plants of it in 10 years. I believe that they were all given to me as well.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

screamin yellow it is and I just have to get one.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nice view Boo!..... I looked through my iris co-op picks... think I got a mistake... going to have to check the tag again today... it's nice either way but just try and keep the names straight

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

lol. it's an interesting genus of plants. I've seen the one called "twilight praire blues" and I'm thinking that I need to track it down sometime.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I think it would kill most.... 6 hours no more

:)

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Same here but that's because I have too much to do (get up to water orchids at 5:30 AM and stay up late posting pics). My own darn fault. I fall asleep the minute I read anything or watch TV.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

don't know where that iris came from but the tag says Superstition... looks right but don't know where I got it

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

6 hours is about what I usually get. But, I don't just wake up at 5 am without the loudest alarm there is! lol I sort of wish that I could do that!

Thanks! I think that it's 'Apricot Sunrise', but I'll have to double check the tag when I get up.

Your awake.

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Thats right your 3 hours behind us..... duh

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

onewish1, the 'Superstition' I got in the coop doesn't look right either. I'll see if I can did up the picture.

Port Washington, NY(Zone 7a)

Here is my 'Superstition' that obviously is not dark purple. This was pretty, the flower was enormous and it's one I wouldn't have chosen myself. I just wish I knew what it was.
