The tradescantia that I just can't seem to get rid of, and believe me when I say that it has literally taken over a huge area.

Victor, I saw a photo of your garden by a pond but don't know where in any case just want you to know it is the most beautiful spot I have seen in a long time.

One of my peony, do not know the name

Gorgeous peony, Maria!!!!!! I have not seen one so nice! Love those colors.

Victor's pond, and the garden around it, certainly is gorgeous!

Maria, if that's a tree peony, it is likely either Souvenir de Maxime Cornu or Kinkau. Incredibly beautiful!
Daisy

Everything looks great!

Thanks, RC now something else to add to my wish list.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thank you, Maria. I agree - your peony is gorgeous.

Thanks every one with your very appreciated comments, I wish for all of you to be able to garden at a ripe old age.
My Dad was one of the master gardener for the city of Vienna but I did not learn much from him due to the war, fortunately so was my MIL, she started teaching me all about gardening when I was a bride at 18 years old and also asked me to join the garden club.

That's so cool!!!

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Daisy, thanks, yes it is a peony tree, I have a few of them, most of them have gone by, they want to bloom much earlier then the regular ones

One of the reason why I am posting today is because of lots of rain out there, really do not need it, it is wet enough and too cool for this time of year.

Another Iris a very good friend from the state of WA sent me last fall.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Just came from a visit with Debilu.
Her gardens are wonderful.
She has tubs of vedgies in the driveway and a small back yard filled with a huge variety of plants. Two water features make it a tranquil place to just sit and relax.
All areas working well together.
No pix alas not much blooming and I flapped my jaw so much just never got to it.

Thanks Shelly. Nice purples. And the water droplets are great, though not as good as your description - 'a stick'!

Very nice, Karen. Guernsey is very nice. Don't have that one.

Nice that you could visit Deb, Jo Ann.

Here is Satomi after the rain.

All of them, just beautiful!
Victor, I find your Queen Anne's Lace very interesting, I only know it as wild flower that grows in my land and like very much

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Thanks everyone for the id on my NOID. I remembered that it started with an L and couldn't remember anything else. It used to be leggy and this year is really doing well.

Rhinebeck, NY(Zone 5b)

Centerglow Ninebark - much prettier than what they've shown in online pix. Hi, I just bought this yesterday. This is my 3rd ninebark, the first two, Diablo and Coppertina are 2 of my favorite shrubs and so far are performing admirably. I think this one might be the best one yet.
