Garden Photo's 09 .........25

Everyone has such great blooms.

Great, now I have to add that screaming yellow baptista to my list.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

onewish, wish I could grow lupin. Trying again, in yet another spot, yours are lovely.

Ge1836, I find the collage thing great, I was confused when they upgraded it, but have it down now. I like to use the new feature of lines to separate the pictures, sometimes. I love your mystery TBI

redchic01, I always love your soaring tree shots, we have non of those here.

daisygrrl, nice haul of peonies. I can't wait until my newly planted ones grow up to produce enough to cut and enjoy inside like you. I love seeing your 'Night owl' rose. I thought that color was stunning and impossible, but I now see yours and it is real. Cool.

Here are some TBI's out yesterday. I love the 'Tiger Honey' which is in the middle. Kaleidoscope is sweet. The big yellow MAYBE NOT Magic School Bus as was planted. ' Viva Mexico' is a nice peach, and I do like 'Pumpkin cheesecake' especially at Thanksgiving. The dark one is 'Dark Passion' and the bicolor is 'Colette Thurillet' My red tags got all mixed up.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great shots, Allison - love those peonies!!

Love the spiderwort, Shelly.

Beautiful color, Dyane.

Nice collages, Jo Ann and Patti. Very nice.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Some other things taken yesterday. TBI 'Dream lord' and peony 'Buckeye Belle' The bulb Camassia leichtlinii Alba is a happy addition to the garden this year I think this is Rugosa 'Hansa', but I have a Rugosa Roseraie de L' Hay very near by. I need to move one soon. And one of the last of the narcissus 'Baby Moon' with the variegated (?) please remind me. Thanks. Patti

I love 'Dream Lord'. TBs are a little large for my garden, but that one is beautiful!

Thomaston, CT

Well, I've several more plants I "need" from those posted ----the iris are so stunning this year. I wouldn't plant Magic School Bus however----I'm allergic to school buses after all those years in school----and I hated school when I was a kid--- as a teen, I would skip, go up to the resevoir near our house, & read a book all day, or go hunting wildflowers, or birds---things never taught to me in school. I made sure I took my classes outside.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

More nice ones, Patti. Can you recommend a good pink rugosa??

Wow - just noticed I am over 1000 photos in PlantFiles! Not even close to some people. I think palmbob is over 15,000 now.

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Funny thing about schools, I would not speak English today if I had not gone to school, would not know a lot of things, we went on long nature walks to the Vienna Woods, farmers homesteads to see what they do, School was great.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I think I'm gonna have to start another Great Book of Lists. So many luvly, luvly things. Victor congrats and thanks everso for your 1000+ PF entrys.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Dayne I was thinking we need to get in touch with Bleek and maybe we can figure out the mix ups

for the price we paid... and the colors they turned out to be.. so far I am ok with them.. even though they aren't the ones I picked out

Port Washington, NY(Zone 7a)

I know. I haven't bugged him about it since I'm happy with the deal I got but so far I have three Iris and one group of Daffodils that were mislabeled and a couple of Iris that rotted away. Not sure if that was my fault or not.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

that stinks

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

HI RC
That reminds me I have to practice Picasa today.
Went to a studio sale and bought more garden art. Its not installed yet and no one will "get it" because its pretty out there.
I love it and will send pix as soon as SIL hangs it.
Its "artsyfartsy"
It looks like a big tree=earring.
Its OK with me if DGers just say" Ohhhh thats interesting" I'll know what you mean.
