Shes about too... #45

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you Marilyn. She also wrote this on SI.

"Hello everyone! I just left the hopsital, and he is really sore. he has about 10 stitches in his face, above the left eye, and his hips, and legs are really sore. The Dr, thinks his kidneys are damaged, but more test to follow will reveal that!
Thanks for the prayers! I will update later, when I find out more info!"

Hopefully LK can tell us more tomorrow.
Just trying to capture more folks that know her into praying for her son and sending out positive vibes.

OMG, poor baby. I have a son and he is grown. I know how I was when he got Hodgkins .. I was a wreck. Once a Mom always a Mom.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Just got off the phone with LK. Good news indeed.

Andy's kidneys are functioning! PTL!! He'll be going through another CTscan to make sure it's all clear before they release him.
He complains of being sore.

She has problems logging on to DG on the hotel's pc.

LK thank all of you for the heartfelt prayers and healing thoughts sent their way.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I pray his liver is okay too. Boy what a scare for poor LK. Praying for a comforting night for both of them....

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Good news! Still sending prayers.

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Good news, indeed. I pray they find everything fine and he can go home.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you all. LK is so lucky to have you all in her life. This is another 'heart and soul' thread.. not just about beautiful brugs..

Some on DG, because of the safe anonymity this website offers, may just sit back and not be affected.
I am so happy to say that MOST here do show empathy towards those that are facing challenging issues.

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

WELL FINALLY! You have been lost forever! Thought I never would find you. Can't tell you how much you were missed. I cannot read the entire thread, have missed to much, but have read enough to know something is wrong with AuntB. Would someone please tell me. Sometime ago I asked where she was and the answer I got was: she's just busy. OH! Hello everyone...please don't get me lost again, LOL it's just nerve racking to think you have disappeared.
Faye

And, I have had I think 5 Brugs to bloom, but Kim....I do not have either of the beauties you are showing. (Was that hint strong enough?)
Love & hugs to all

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Hi Faye, you didn't lose us.. sometimes we are just busy.. AuntB is fine, I am going to visit her on Tuesday, she spends alot of time out in her garden.. she is still not working, has alot of projects around her house. I will tell her you all miss her and want her to check in..

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

AuntB is fine as far as I know. We are all planning along with Deb to go to the midwest RU. I thing AuntB has just been really busy.
Faye sorry you were lost and glad you have been found....LOL
5 brugs in bloom, darn I can't get a flush on anything.
54 degrees tonight, we are having the strangest weather! Should be in the 90's and hot!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Debra, what are you doing up so late? HEE HEE

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I was looking for slugs and snails on my brugs tonight.. I have to work in the am, will go to bed soon, was looking at pictures of my flowers I took tonight in the dark, which is all I get to see these days.. so far I have had three blooms on a plant, Jean Pasko is about too with three blooms as well, Monster white just gives me great big singles, Suavleons Pink gives me three.. I think it is because they are in the pots instead of the ground.

Debra, I had to go to bed since I had been up since 4:30am......like you I leave in the dark and barely get home before dark....
All my brugs are in pots and they bloomed their hearts out over the winter, but like you all I am getting now are singles.
Pretty picture.
You still have Tuesday off?
Have a great weekend eveyone.

Hello everyone, LindaKay, Jay had posted on another thread about your son, and you and family have certainly been in my prayers. I hope he is well and at home now. Hope all will have a blessed week end and go to church Sunday!
Faye

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hello everyone!
Jaye, thanks for posting here!
Everyone is now home. We were really scared, that Andy had internal damage, but all the test came out negative. No kidney or spleen damage. No broken bones! I know his Angel was at his side, and lifted the weight off him!
Early Wed, morning, my sone was at a bar, with some friends for a batchelor party, and the batchelor assigned a couple of guys to stay sober and drive everyone else home safely. Well, about 2:00am, Andy's buddy drove him home, and accidently pulled into the neighbors drive way. Andy told him, this is fine, I need to get out of the truck, because I am going to be sick, So he got out of thruck, and stumbled, hit his head on a mailbox, and fell down. The sober driver decided to then back out, and when he did, he caught Andy's feet, and pulled him under the truck, running over his legs, and lower back!
After all the test's, they said nothing was broken and nothing was damaged! All I can say is, Andy had his Angels by him! Thanks for all the prayers. He is home now, and really sore, but the deep tissue damage will just take time to heal! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

Pegi, glad to hear your hubby is Ok, and no damage to his heart!
Hope you all h ave a greart week-end!

LK

I completely understand about having your day. When DH retired I thought I will never be home alone again LOL.......don't miss understand me, but after his son would go back to school and DH would go to work at least one day in Sept I would take off work and just stay home by myself. It was like I could recharge. I thought I did a good job not letting DH know how I enjoyed that until he had a business trip one time and they cancelled and he came home and said I don't want you to be too disappointed but they cancelled my trip....LOL Oh well. Glad you are going to be at the ru, I think it is going to be really good barring no snow.....LOL since it is down to 56 here come Oct we may have 6 inches of snow....LOL

Woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. Thought I would see what crazies are up and on DG this early morning. Bad thing about this is I won't be awake for Gardening by the yard and all that good stuff at 6.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)
