Elderberry Black Lace. It takes awhile with this one, but worth the wait in my opinion

Another wonderful ground cover. A cultivar of Lamb's Ear that stays neat and tidy. I'm going to get more of these. It's covered in rose petals.

Thanks Celeste. Now that you mentioned the yellow, Lemon would look nice with the Scotch Broom.

They're really putting on a show this year. I figure in about another week or two they'll be at their peak.

nice pics venu!

which thyme is that your using for a ground cover?

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

venu209, scotch broom gets pruned right after flowering, if it needs it. I like them to grow out to their natural wispy, arching look, but if you just let them go, they may eventually get huge and woody. Along the roads they grow beautifully without pruning on Nantucket, but along our drive, I didn't prune and I eventually ai had to be cut them down as they had become a mess and not very productive. So prune them now if you want them to stay small or just in years as needed to clean up the dead spots and to keep them a manageable size. I hate the flat top look that they have when first bought as the grower obviously cut them to a uniform size just before selling them, but maybe many others prefer them that way. Good luck. Patti

Thanks, Victor!

Robin, I think my Rhodie is Scintillation, but I don't really know. Gorgeous astrantia, Robin!

Well, Allison, you're definitely patient! My friend Karen will have baptisia seedlings at Boojum's RU. Those will certainly take quite a few years to bloom. She bought a baptisia from White Flower Farms once. It came in a tiny little pot. I think she waited 3 or 4 years for it to bloom.

Allison, it looks like you got a positive ID on that blue iris. I will happily take a division and will trade one of mine for it if I have any you like. That Can Can Red is a gorgeous one, too! Luscious or more appropriate! Everything Plus and Summer Olympics are also great!

Nice pics, Venu. My friend Karen has the Black Lace elderberry, and she loves it. Love your iris and baptisia picture! And I love that Tuscan Sun and Nicole rose, too!

Yhe roses are fantastic, Venu---is your NOID Pink Iceberg? Looks like the one I have blooming---the only rose I have that wintered over & is blooming is Baby Love----a small yellow----all my other bloomers came from the nursery budded. But I noticed New Dawn & Carefree Celebration have nice fat buds on them.
