With those the toes will stay warm and dry!
Coffee Break #12 - Remember those who sacrificed!
Strange shoes. Do they fit the folks that have that strange long middle toe?
Cool way to flip the bird, Dave.
Those shoes are a little freaky looking.
Just found out my nephew joined the marines, he has a deferred enlistment...so he'll be going in next year because he already had a prior commitment this summer.
My other nephew will be going into the army right after graduation this year.
A senior in the HS where my mom works was going in right away - he'll even miss graduation ceremonies. Tell your nephews thank you, Jen.
They range from $75 to $90!!
I'm surprised that wouldn't wait till after grad.
I'd probably really like them Sherrie, since I don't do the barefoot thing since we got the dog.
I would not hike in them - no support at all! Same for running. May be good for dance, gymnastics, martial arts, yoga, etc.
So save $75 and just go barefoot!
Like a facial for the feet.
Try croquet instead.
Usually the wife does this metaphorically, once they're married.

OMG---that's beyond nutty! Candyce---loved the photo of Taelor---your GDs are all so cute! Hi, Dave---plant anything lately? My dale is going in for surgery tomorrow---again! This time he has a growth in his ear that's bleeding---that darn dog has cost me a mint---my mixed breed is never sick or hurt!
Now that's a call for social change. It's even worse than self immolation. Brings lasting shame on the family.
I knew this was a certainty at some point. Puke.

Yuck!
One can only hope no self respecting american station picks it up.
Dave - so nice to see you back.
What ugly shoes, well, at least to me. Sorry if I offend anyone's feelings.
Thanks for the kind words on Taelar's photos. Yes, she really WAS very intent this year about all the reasons why we have Memorial Day. Her grandpa was in Viet Nam. Her great grandpa was in WWII. And her great-great grandpa was in WWI. Not so mention all the uncles, great uncles, and a few aunts!
I wish more parents taught their kids about it.
I agree.
A quote in today's paper said a reality show was the closest brush with reality octomom would have---I agree!
Hi folks!
I have had such a late start to gardening this year. Between being busy, some travel, and lots of rain I'm way behind.
Robin, I did just manage to put in a few plants. some gentian, delphiniums, lobelia & foxglove along with tomatoes & cukes.
Good Morning all - T&M are having an end of season sale - http://www.tmseeds.com/ilist/a.html/?OC=EJS09
thanks... that's trouble!... better hide the CC
Chart I have says to divide in spring every 2-3 years, flowers better in smaller clumps, but I don't have any so I can't give you hands on experience.
Gee, Allison, I never had that problem---mine flower for a few years, then fade away---I would say divide after blooming, or early fall. Sounds like some nice plants, Dave. My airedale came through surgery fine----he's got a lot of stitches in his ear, & I'm out $400.00.
Glad your pooch is ok.
have to look up how to divide I guess... the thing is huge... taking over the bed... I told Randy it's going to make me nuts this year trying to figure out how to stake the monster
good to hear about your dog Robin... sorry to hear about the wallet... we had our Lily at the emergency clinic last night as well... not to mention who... but someone left a chocolate muffin on a dinning room chair in a plastic bag.... grumble... I found her when she was just about to eat the last small bite.. and a tiny piece of plastic wrap left... grumble again... they induced vomiting and she seems to be ok so far.. big ole grumble
:)
Ooh - poor pooches. Glad they're both better!
