S'ok Pixie and bunbun. Greenhouse is jammed and me and some of the dahlias are gonna spend the day in my office working on the fall bulb orders ^_^
Coffee Break #12 - Remember those who sacrificed!
Oh, NO! Snow in June! Not a happy occurence----your bunny is growing, Pixie---he's a doll!
Ugh - that's awful, dnut.
OMG! Dalia, I hope everything is ok. Funky June weather. I'm NOT writing my temps today.

Good luck dnut! Good song.
a winter wonderland - uhg
Sorry D-nut, but I loved your song!
I remember one year visiting my grandma and it snowed on the 4th of July in Jasper.
Oh no!! Hope everything survives D-nut!
Waiting for hubby to find my son the fishing pole and then we're going for a drive up the Delaware River in the convertible.
it's a weedeating day today - 62° and should hit 68° for a high.
No complaints - after a week of high 80's to mid 90's, the growth explosion happened. You could see the dandelions produce flowers right before your eyes.....
My tomatoes are still not out from under cover.
And the hose thing - oooohhh, hate to revisit this one, but kinked hoses make me irritable. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Came in to cool off, we took a ride up the Delaware on the Pa side and down the Delaware on the NJ side, stopped to do some fishing, didn't have a nibble, went to dinner had blueberry pie and had to do some weeding and planting to work it off. Man it is HOT in my backyard!
Today I found many of my hostas eaten. And I just sprayed them with Liquid Fence recently. Much profanity was uttered.
sorry to hear that victor - time for a gun permit i think
I'd love an electric fence.
All the rain we had probably didn't help.
But we never had any heavy rain so I can't believe it washed off.
the slugs are out of hand here... I am finding them everywhere... I put a couple of sunken cups with stale beer Randy didn't like.. hopefully it helps
I went out this morning to find my juicy, fat asiatic lily buds chomped off. Grrrrr!!
Yup, the slugs are having a heyday on my zinnias.
going to be a bad year with them I guess... I usually don't start seeing them until the end of summer
Great day to be in the garden----dreaming of these days in Jan.----but have to run some errands first----need more mulch & cow manure. If I post that I'm buying glads, would someone come & slap me one? I was out planting while it was thundering yest. evening, putting bulbs in dumb places, because I am totally out of room!
I planted 5 of each of these yesterday....
Black Beauty
White Wings
Laurita
Shu
Grande Passion
King's Lynn
Green Star
Plum Tart
Tampico
Vista
Video
Windsong
Blues
Thats only 60 glads....missing a name or two as im pretty sure it was 75 glads in all that got planted. I finally put in the Canna's and Dahlia's outside too.
That's a short list, for you, Celeste! I bet it will all be beautiful!
Lucky you Candyce!! Im still planting.......
Auntie and DH loves glads......I forgot them in the ground last year all 6 years worth of growing them!!
Sounds like the varmits and critters are out in full force. I'm hoping the freaky weather on Sat offed some bad guy bugs. I'm greeeeen with envy Candyce over your holiday.
LOL!
Glad so many of my DG friends are happy with the choice of vacation. It is actually a very spur of the moment thing. We only talked about it for a couple of days (Ashleigh and I), and then we just jumped in the car and did it. Only a 4 and a half hour drive, avoiding Boston, of course. We leave tomorrow ... at some point.
Nice! My son wants to go down the shore on Wed. Of course Jersey shore doesn't compare to the Cape.
It just might. Ya never know.
Bon Voyage, Candyce!! You sure deserve a break!!! Enjoy every minute!!!
Stop at Wellfleet Audubon, Candyce---nice walks! I'm very envious!
Thanks for the tip, robindog. I may just stop there. It depends on how my legs feel today. Some days, walking is difficult, but never impossible! *sigh* we leave today.
Nice, Sherrie, wish it was closer.
