Coffee Break #11 - Moms rule!
Thank you j2!
Yes! Too bad you can't talk the girls into a double wedding---easier on you. Thanks for the photos of Fieldstone---I've been ordering from them for years, & have always received great plants. My son's FIL has 3 yellow magnolias, all blooming right now, up at the farm----very pretty---I'd love to see your 'Flamingo'.
Thanks Robin! When 'Flamingo' blooms, i'll post pictures....not sure if it will this year or not.
Congrats on the engagement!!

Great thanks Celeste, another plant added to my wish list...I like pulmonaria x Ann, opal and coral springs.

Jen, I ordered pulmonaria 'Ann' this year, in honor of my GD, Anne---can't wait til it blooms!
It's beautiful and from what they told me spreads nicely, makes a great ground cover. They had a huge clump and it was all in bloom.....BEAUTIFUL!!

SO COOL!!! I may have to get my feeder up.
Amazing Allison!!
thank you .... just love them!
Awesome pics, Allison!
Did you miss me? ^_^ I was in Denver at the Denver Botanical Gardens and met up with some DGers from the Rocky Mountain Forum. Made copious lists while my buddy roybird (photographer extra-ordinaire) took the pics. I'll give the link cuz I'm sure she will start a thread for them. Congrats Pixie!!! Weddings are so exciting. Happy Belated Mothers Day to all the moms.
You were missed D-nut. Glad you had a good time.
Welcome back, dnut!
Great hummer shots, Allison! I have seen a few recently, but they are preferring the flowers to the nectar, as usual.
I'll have to check the pulmonaria site
Took a different way home today to see what was blooming in other yards, a lot of azaleas and iris is what I see. I need to take a walk in the development behind me and check things out.
Lots of iris popping out around here.
I noticed a wonderfully scented shrubby weed today near my pool. I'll have to take a pic and post it for an ID.
Sounds like Sweet Fern.
No, I know sweet fern well and have planted it! This is more of a gardenia type smell and the 'weed' is about 6-6 1/2 ft tall.
Did you know if you boil sweet fern down it makes a great healer of poison ivy?? DH has a batch all cooked up in the frig. right now. ^_^
Never heard that. It does make a nice tea.
