Hello Ladies,
I'm here in Marysville. When I got here Rick started to hug me and I told him to keep away from me. Then told him I was moving out!!!! OH the look on his face, LOL. So far he is being very polite. My mom has been a gem she has been calling people and asking them to help. My cousin is coming to help with the packing and bringing boxes. Then on Saturday my SIL, mom and whoever else mom can round will be here. Rick asked what about all my flowers. I said I would come back when they are done blooming and asked if he would take care of them for me. He said he would then reminded himself to go water. I've been packing my craft room. GEEZ!!! I got alot of stuff,LOL.
Now my back is acting.
This morning before I came here mom and I worked out in her yard. She mowed while I dug up a raised bed to plant some bulbs. While we were out there I told her all the things I want to do. Next spring we are going to fix up the chicken yard and build a new coop. I have a place for a hothouse and a tool shed, place for my Angel Trumpets ( haven't forgot you LK anf BJ). OK so now I'm going to show some pix.
This here is the back yard at mom's where I will be putting a hothouse. The bed in the very back I cleaned out to put some glads, dahlias and lilies. Next year they will be out in the front of mom's house.

Here's me and mom, Mother's Day breakfast. I told her "Now smile pretty" LOL she is going to freak when she finds out I posted this pix. The hotel/casino/bowling alley where we stayed gave free breakfast every morning. It really is a nice place and so convenient to have it all within walking distance. Never had to go outside at all. Mom wants to go back and play that penny machine that I won on. She started playing it Friday night and kept winning. She put $60 in to it and walked away with $160. Then Saturday night she played it again for a little while. WE were both so tired from the ngiht before. We both had a lot on our minds about my move. I kept telling her Mom, don't worry it will be alright. She has called twice to make sure I'm alright.
While mom was bowling I snuck out and went across the street to the neatest little gift shop. And I mean little. But the stuff that was in there OMG!! I could have spent lots of money buying the perfect gift for evryone of my favorite sistahs. Frogs, fairies, ladybugs, butterflies, dragon flies, bird houses, candle holders. Should have taken a pictue of the shop, lol. The lady was really sweet too. Anyhow I found this birdhouse/feeder for my mom. They had a butterfly one too. Should have gotten it :( Oh well next time.
This is my friends Doug and Gayle. Saturday night Gayle was playing a Keno machine and hit it for $2400. She said she just about piddled her pants. Doug thought he was gonna have to find some Depends real quick like, LOL. They didn't get to bed until midnight and over slept. We were meeting for breakfast Sunday at nine.
Cindy, love all the pictures!!
Got the Herb book, 2 Polymer Clay magazines and the Bluestone Perrenial Catalog in the mail today but no time to look at them as I leave for the airport in a few minutes.
It will be late by the time we get back so you ladies have a good night!!
its a good road ..here in Texas the shoulders are almost as wide as the lane you are in so when a slower car is on the road it moves over to let the faster car by.
Am trying to recall if any of it is 4 lane as we just traveled it in April to go to Illinois for a wedding.

I haven't received my herb book yet Trisha :(
Cindy, they should donate a l'il pocket change to you with all those winnings! At least a lottery ticket.
Aren't you glad this time you could plan for a permanent garden?
Janice, me too did some shopping for clothes. I hate shopping and detest trying clothes on!!
Cody called and said her doctor prescribed another 'plan of attack' on her sinus infection.
Yep, and when I was pulling the weeds I found 2 asparagus, one was about 20" tall very thin and the other I dug up by accident stuck it back in, in a hurry.
Hope you have enough gardening books to get ideas from!!
Maybe you could hold a yard sale for your craft stuffs that you don't need anymore, Cindy.
Japanese Beetles killed my Joseph Coats rose bush:(
Oh wow Cindy!! I saw the ladybugs--fantastic shot. Oh, the other pictures are very nice also but you know me about ladybug!!! LOL
Wow Cindy! You ARE your mother's daughter! No denying you! You look just like her! So glad you are making the move. And to be with Mom, how swell is that?! You sound so up, and I'm so glad.
JANICE... would be better for you if you get off of I20 in Tyler, go south on 69 to Hwy 31, then go west... follow 31 all the way through Athens then Malakoff, next little town is Trinidad... turn right on 274... go 10 miles... call me, and I'll meet you on the corner.
Phyllis... that is better than going though Canton then down... same distance, just a more direct route.
YEP... the weekend of the 23rd... but if you want to come this weekend, it's alright by me... I'll just put you to work...
No, wait... Mike has orientation in Whitehouse this weekend... ugh... neither of us are looking forward to it. Except to see Jose Feliciano's lake house... that's where it's going to take place...
Jose Feliciano was an AFS student, and now he's involved every year with the students... he also took them all to a Star's game... but Mike couldn't go that weekend.
Cindy... you're mom's place looks like a gardener's wonderland.. you're going to have so much fun getting dirty there...
Love all the pics...
Little Johnny's at it again..... A new teacher was trying to make use of her psychology courses. She started her class by saying, 'Everyone who thinks they're stupid, stand up!' After a few seconds, Little Johnny stood up. The teacher said, 'Do you think you're stupid, Little Johnny?' 'No, ma'am, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself!'
Little Johnny watched, fascinated, as his mother smoothed cold cream on her face. 'Why do you do that, mommy?' he asked. 'To make myself beautiful,' said his mother, who then began removing the cream with a tissue.
What's the matter?' asked Little Johnny. 'Giving up?'
Little Johnny attended a horse auction with his father. He watched as his father moved from horse to horse, running his hands up and down the horse's legs and rump, and chest.
After a few minutes, Johnny asked, 'Dad, why are you doing that?' His father replied, 'Because when I'm buying horses, I have to make sure that they are healthy and in good shape before I buy".
Johnny, looking worried, said, 'Dad, I think the UPS guy wants to buy Mom!'
Big Jaye says ... good night everyone.
Trisha, we know you're having a ball with your sister!
Cindy, so glad to hear you have everything all planned! Just move a little at a time, and don't mess up your back!
Jaye, love the Johnny jokes, he is such a pranskter! ^_^
Janice, you need to go and get a GPS for the vehicle. It will tell you turn by turn, how to get there. You can get one for about $100.00. I won't travel with out one!
Good night everyone. gonna take some more nyquil, and go to bed.
LK

Just got home.....the flight was late.....her plane was the last one out of Dulles before they closed the airport due to weather.....once they finally got to Seattle spent another hour out on the runway before they could get a gate for them.....so eight fifteen turned into ten fifteen....we still hadn't eaten....met my nephew in Tacoma...service was slow and the food was not the greatest...we are all glad to be home. Donna is exhausted she has only been up about 23 hours at this point.....I may see them by lunch time tomorrow...we will see.

Morning everyone. Loved the Johnny stories Jaye!!
Good to hear about the GPS Linda Kay as I have been thinking about getting one for the trip. Heard from Deborah last night so it looks like everything is on "GO". Be still butterflies!!!
I read on another thread Joyce talked with Kathy and she is doing okay. Hope she comes on here soon and post about her conversation. Glad to hear all is well for her. Miss her and her flowers!!
Trisha, I hope you took a good book with you. Learned long time ago never ever go to the airport with reading materials. I am so envious having your sister come for a visit. Mine doesn't leave her home very often, if at all. Oh wait, I will see all my other sistahs in a few days. Ohhh wee, what a day that will be.
Donna, everything seems to be coming together for you finally. I am so happy for you. Keep us updated on progress.
Cindy, check in so we know you are okay.
Workman due here in a few minutes so I need to go. Will check back later today.
Waving to all I missed.
Morning everyone. MArion, I was just going to ask if anyone has heard from Kathy. I kow she is very busy with the hurricane, but she needs to post once in awhile, just to let us know she is OK. We do worry about our Sistah's when they go missing.
Audrey, that goes for you too. If your lurking, let us know how your healing please?
LK
Morning Marion,
I'm ok. Just busy packing and packing. Boy this is my last move for sure. Rick is actually being nice about it. Will finish the Barbie doll house for me, so that is a huge releif. I'm so glad that I don't work, so that I can take my time getting settled in at mom's. There is so much yard work that needs to be done. Mom has to have eye surgery June 8th, then she won't be able to do much for two weeks, so I will be playing Nurse, lol.
So glad things are doing okay with Rick. Don't overdo it and wear yourself out please.
I won't but boy I sure slept good last night. Did a little yard work with Mom then came down here and started packing.
Well, that is a good sign you slept well. Still waiting on my repairman to show up. Think I will go put a load in the washing machine while I wait,
Take care and see you all later.................................
Cindy I am happy to hear that he is not angry. Maybe he wanted this to happen?
LK
Oh-I know Audrey is OK-keep getting forwards from her like almost every day......
Miss Kathy-keep meaning to call her on the weekend when my mins are free and I forget until like Monday morning when I kick myself:(
Yea, I'm really puzzled? He seems to be taking it too well. But I can see the wheels turning in his head, like how is he going to manage the bills. He doesn't get much unemployment $590 every two weeks. Rent is $385, then there is mortage $310 plus utilities. He mentioned that he's gonna have to sell his Harley. It's not registered or insured and needs tires so that is about $700 to get it on the road.
