Hello everyone. Happy Mothers day to you all!
I am back from my trip, and I promise I will go back and read everything, but I am so tired, so it will be later.
I just wanted to say hello, and let you know I was back. I had a great trip.

Hope everyone had a good Mother's Day celebration.

Crissy, so sorry about your friend. Wow.. that was a fatal infection, who would have thought. So, no back aches should be taken lightly, then.

BJ, you look like a natural granma with Tyler! Besides making memories for Mike, you're making some great ones for his school chums too.. they won't forget their Austrian 'dude'. So, it is a tradition to smear icing on one's face? Somehow I missed that one!! Lol!!

Donna, Teara and Trina look so happy with y'all. Poor kids, they must get more attention from you both than their biological mother.

Hello Orion! You're just too cute! Now, if I remember correctly, that's Laura's best friend's son that she babysits sometimes? Trisha, you must certainly enjoy that little boy too. Is he all boy?

Kim, I'm so glad you think of mice as 'eeeeeeeek'!! So Susan, I think I'll raise some iguanas, before I take in a mouse! Shuddering!!

Synda, I think I replied honestly and objectively on RWB. It seems her thread's gone.

Welcome back LK.

I put a claim in with paypal......that's when she started getting mad,Gourd and ,me and someone else put in claims, because you only have 45 days and I was at my end of the 45 days. But I can't believe she followed me,almost like stalking......LOL.And even on her thread I never said anything bad..just I wanted to know what was going on and just give me a refund. On one hand she'd say that mine were sent and then later she'd say none of the money sent was touched.....can't have it both ways.I told Rick if anybody sends me anything to put in big letters who it is from ,would hate to open a booby trap.......LOL.

Linda Kay so glad you made it there and back safely.

And by the way Jaye did ya get a lot of goodies on your shopping trip?

On leg 1, it's a wild goose chase for that elusive Mother's Day gift for his mum, Synda. She's quite a challenge, as you can guess. After so many garden store searches, we finally decided on 2 hibiscus. Not something she'd expect.. but it was an easy way out for us. Sad huh?
Second leg, left me drained. We've decided after our trip to get a Sony. Somehow I'm still drawn towards Carl Zeiss lens.. moreover the Sanyo Trish mentioned, can't find them at any WMs around here.
The fun we had was of course food.......... Drive in Sonic's... a good cheeseburger, cheddar poppers and a good Sonic's Blast!

Today, unfortunately, and I shan't lie.. I slept the whole day. Poor Kel had to grill for his Mum.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Rick grilled us dinner, T-Bones Steaks and etc........to go along with my new little garden shovel for the garden gnomes to take and hide from me.I know they have about 20,some very expensive ones......

We went to momma's yesterday ,Step dad was gone and she was by herself so we spent the afternoon there.Took her a clematis, which Rick planted, and Solar Tikki Torch's .

Good morning Ladies...

Sounds like everyon had a very ncie mothers day.. Mine was filled with fun.. Max let me sleep in and whew did I need that bad.. I havent been getting much sleep ad was wiped out. All the kids made me cards and we went to a cook out at my BIL's house with the entire family full of outlaws... lol The twins stayed until after dinner and didnt want to go home but we asked them to please be nice to their mom so they can come back next weekend. They said they never get to go for walks to the park wih their mom and she makes them stay inside and clean even if the house is already done.. They really are starved or attention and they were for the most part angels all weekend..

I made a new friend yesterday at the cook out. Her name is Mary and she is a local master gardener who has invited me over on Tuesday for some fun in the dirt... She is dividing up alot of plants and flowers and says she wants to give me a bunch to get us started on the gardens here at the new house. I played just a bit in the dirt on Saturday moving around a few things but I dont have much to work with and cant afford to go to the nurseries yet.. Mary says she has some hostas, blackeyed susans, baby veggies and a few other goodies to play with so I cant wait... My BIL gave me some baby asparagus which I dont care for but Trina tried some fresh out of his garden and loved it so Im planting the babies in hopes of them doing well.. Growing plants you can eat sparked her interest in gardening...

Well I need to get Tony off to school but will check back in whne I get back if the internet stays up.. O and a quick pic of Tristen..

I love that front entry way and the fence is to die for. You're going to have some very pretty garden areas when you're done.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wow, go away for a few days and look at all I missed, Birthdays, party at BJ's, that seemed to go with out a hitch, except the tv that went up in smoke! OUCH! Donna is geting all settled in...
Hope you all had a great Mothers day!
I woke up this morning witha stuffy nose, I hope it is just because I am tired, and worn out form the trip! Amarillo was only about 60 degrees for the high temp. Alot of difference from here.
We drove to the old route 66 and saw the cadillac ranch, then drove 40 miles East and saw the religious re-enactment of jesus being crucified on the cross! If no one has seen this, you NEED TO! It is just so insipiring. Go here to read about it!

Off to water the plants!
You all have a great day!

MORNING ALL!!!!

Cute digs Donna!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning Stacey. How you doing today?
It was 105 when I left here Friday, and as I got to Amarillo, the high was 63, and it dropped to 42 at night. They still run the heaters at night! Then back here to high temps! I am just tired, so give me a few days and I will perk right back up!
Donna, love the house, thanks for sharing!
Anyone else awake yet! Coffee is on, come and get it! With Bailey's if that will help?

Morning everyone. Donna that is a really cute place. Sounds like things are going well for you and the family.

Waving to Tink, are you getting ready for the drive? Packing yet?

Just dropping by for a few as I have oodles of things to do today--need to go to Lowe's and get some spray for the carpenter bees that are doing a "number" on my swing set. Found those after the roof , what was left of it, came off Saturday.

Linda Kay, glad you are back safely from your trip. I know it is going to really different without your Dad there for a while. Take care.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Na-not packing yet-I just plan on bring some clean underwear and a dress and my swimsuit!!LOL

I have no clue what I'm bring except every sleeveless, strapless top I have.....

Morning LK:) I think it is the temp changes that have your nose all stuffy. It was real chilly here for the first time in a couple weeks and I left the window open and froze all night. Then I woke up with a sinus headache and the bridge of my nose so swollen it looked like Chris elbowed me last night while I slept!! Took some aspirin though and it's starting to go away.....

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Nice house!!! Very cute and you could make a shade garden over there!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone!
I am with Robin.. love the front entry. Donna, your house has a cottage charm to it. You'll soon adorn the lawn with beautiful flowers.

What's everyone doing today? Presumably our gifted Stacey here will resume writing..
LK, you take a much needed rest. Stay away from the sewing machine if you can too.
Maid M.. we have horse flies here that insist on feasting on our blood! Now, how to get rid of them?
Not accompanying Kel today. Gonna water the plants, there's an overcast, but don't look like we're gonna get a decent downpour.
Will sew more aprons.. had promised a gf.
Anyway... was glad that the siblings won on AR and Joan Rivers won Celebrity Apprentice. She has chutzpah!

Have a good day ladies!
