It poured last night - oh well rain, rain and more rain. Might see some sun Saturday.

Overcast and 55. Lots of rain overnight.

Monday it raind most of the day, half a day rain on Tues., half a day rain on Wed. and today it will prob. pour all day. I really need to mow the lawn but it won't be dry enough for the next week!

I have 2.6 inches in the gage. So much for my complaint yesterday! Sun is peeping out now.

We've got some soaking rains going on today. The plants don't look too badly water-logged, but may if we get too many more of these raindrops.

Katye, is this what it feels like to live in the PNW? We had thunder and lightning last night. Currently 66 and overcast. I thought it ws supposed to get nice today!!!?

poured here too - glad i went out and zipped up the cold tent the veggy plants are in last night!

Crazy crazy weather today. 6-8am we had some blue skies and sun so I was thinking "Yeah, maybe a nice day" boy was I wrong keeps going from light cloudy to dark cloudy but no rain, gets cold then warm, wind picks up and then goes still...very weird!!!

Thunderstorm last night knocked out the power for 1 minute

Woke to dense fog. It is now sunny and about 60. Supposed to get more rain Fri. and Sat., clear on Sun. I think we all have had enough of the rain for now.

Sun is out here now. 70.

Hope that will dry you out a bit. We don't want you all to float away.

Well it's 73 and pouring. Heard thunder a little bit ago. I was counting on being outside today.

We had the exact same thing here, Jen. Probably a little earlier than you. the sun is shining brightly now. ^_^ and feels kinda steamy.

Hiked on the Appy Trail this morn---very disappointed at the lack of bird species---usually see around 30---today 14, & only 4 warblers species. The Housatonic River was really raging----the sun came out, it was steamy, then it got cloudy----I was spreading mulch this pm, & the showers began again!

Must have been nice by the river, Robin. Tonight was the cub scouts rocket night!

Saw my first hummer although my DBF saw them 3 days ago. What warblers did you see. Been hearing black throated greens around here lately.

Ummmm... I seemed to have lost SPRING.

I had a male hummer last week and yesterday I saw 2 males and a female. Going to get some petunias this morning as there is no flowers for them here yet - or at least that I know of.

Looks like a fine day in beautiful downtown Wheatfield, NY. There is some sun, birds are singing. I was able to work in my rose garden yesterday even though it rained part of the day. I started working in a small bed in the front yard, but it was TEEMING with JB grubs and totally grossed me out. I applied milky spore last year, but I know I have to be patient with it. I thinking about getting some nematodes.

Still need to get my hummer feeders out. They are going to forget that I am here. :0(

That orb is pretty nice. It keeps going in and out here. Thunder early this moring, now the sun is out. They call for this all day. I wish it would make up it's mind.

It was sunny & and 70's! It hasn't rained today---yet----thunderstorms predicted for here about midnight---oh, joy. And it was nice walking by the river---except I picked up a tick ---don't want to say where---and had to go to doctor today---he said some 'body parts' were still in there, & he had to take them out!

I was going to rave about blue sky until I looked out the window, and oh yippy skippy - here comes another large front.
Grey clouds, you know, the saturated grey that brings one thing to mind: rain.

It's 52° with a light breeze - not t-shirt weather.

Dog gone it! I stimulated the local economy by a healthy visit to a nursery last night, so there are many plants to get in the ground!
I need a break here.....dry is good; dry & warm is better.

which parts? teeth & lips? ewwwwww

I'm glad I don't have tick problems here. I haven't seen one in ages, I guess I haven't been in their right places.
