Have no idea how low the temp went during the night---the dogs didn't awake me until 8:15! Now it's 45----going up to 62---will be in the garden checking for those d--n lily beetles.

It's 60 right now and sunny. Going to talk DH into helping with the rampant grass in the one bed. He's switching to the night shift.( midnight to 8:30) Hates it ,but that's his summer schedule.

Sunny but windy--to the dentist for cleaning--grocery shopping. Messed up the afternoon.

I actually got some weeding done(dandilions) DH is off to work soon, he wasn't able to help today.

A little chilly, I needed a jacket when I took Wall-e to doggie school.

The start of the day was beautiful now it's partly cloudy.

Managed to do an hour of weeding. Dandiloins and alot of grass. It's tough when they are in the middle of plants!

I'm up to 66 and sunny and breezy. Just deelightfull!! Just came in for a break to see if mom needs anything - besides a pill.

Fantastic day. Got a good deal done. Cleanup is just about done. Came across LOTS of PI so I mixed up some fresh Brush B Gone and went at it. Rinsed with Tecnu. Spread my two large buckets of 7/11 coffee grounds - mostly on the JM's. Sprayed more Liquid Fence. Was hoping to get to some planting, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

No - it's a regular spray you apply to the plants.

Would deer eat the reddish honeysuckle? It looks like something has eaten a section of it and it's too high for anything else. If so, didn't know that was on the menu.

This may sound dumb, what is Liquid Fence?

Product you spray to keep the deer and rabbits away. Smells to high heaven but works.

No deer, but plenty of rabbits. If they get really bad I may have to try some.

I have not disappeared. Rather, it's been a busy week with meetings and doctor's appts for the family members ... oh, and a stop at the vet for Roscoe. Just the regular stuff, no one is ill.

It's such a gorgeous morning today! No clouds. Bright sun., Gentle breeze. Ahhhh. But, there's not enough breeze to keep the black flies at bay.

I was showered with home-made Gift Certificates for Mother's Day. Or I guess you could call them coupons. The coupons are good for "x" amount of gardening soil, "x" amount of gardening labor, and "x" amount of foliage. Don't you know that I'll be cashing those in ...slowly!
