Did you feed your papershredder some metalic nutrients flowerjen? I discovered ours is allergic to staples and paper clips.
Coffee Break #10 - Summer in Spring
Ha ha ha D-nut!!!
I need the saucers in my backyard everything seems to get fried back there but with all this rain totally different story.
lol
I'm real careful about that, more pages to a little booklet than I thought, got stuck, now it's making some real funky noises and not shredding anymore. I'm giving it a rest and we'll see what happens later. I have 1 1/2 little rubbermaid storage boxes of paperwork that I have to still shred.
Nows a good time to put out those rain barrels. We are crabbing now about too much rain and later we'll be crabbing too little!!
Ya, another suggestion for hubby that have yet to convince him of.
That doesn't sound good flowerjen :(
I know, I may have to break down and buy an industrial strength one.
Jen, do you mulch your pots and use the crystals??
How do you think the zucchini feels?!
I like zucchini, but not summer squash.
Nope.
I meant that I never had them mixed up. I knew the yellow (yuck) stuff was summer squash.
I'm sure all you Sox fans are sure glad Manny is gone! 50 game suspension for ped's. Just Manny being Manny.
Glad the Mets stayed away from him---they have problems enough! Didn't deserve to win that game last night---they never get Santana runs----think he's going to do their work for them----I never thought Chan Ho Park was that good.
Yes, the Mets can make any washed-up pitcer look good! Santana is beyond fantastic. Hopefully it will not be like Seaver in the mid-70's.
Victor, yes and yes
Love when women say that!^_^
I like summer squash AND zucchini so there!
Celeste, I was saying the exact same thing to myself. Oh, how I wish I had rain barrels. I was up at 3 or 4 this morning, listening to a downpour thunderstorm, thinking that I I had rain barrels, they'd be full!
How cool is this?!
http://www.leevalley.com/garden/page.aspx?c=2&p=62843&cat=2,2280
I luv Lee Valley stuff.
Me too. I love how it's zippered and you can fill from the top. Also, 105 gallons is a lot! And you can remove it at the end of the season if you like.
It would be perfect for me as it would fill in the Joon Monsoon then I could disappear it once I've used it up. I would need a way longer hose though.
It's raining barrels here right now! Pouring! It's been pretty much raining all week...
Yes, very cool. I added it to my wish list.
i hate zucchini and love summer squash
I love all squash, winter, summer, spring and fall squash too. DD likes winter squash, DH hates all squash. We don't eat a lot of squash.
Love all veggies except lima beans....just ate a huge bowl of fiddleheads today. ^_^
Really like that idea of a rain barrel.....thanks for the link.
Hi Everybody! We're back in the NE Kingdom, and I'm happy to be here. Thank you guys for those lovely remarks about us.....it surely goes both ways with each of you!!!! It was just wonderful meeting Victor at last. Hank and I both wish we had had longer to visit with him, especially when he was so kind to drive 30 miles to see us. Hank is howling about that "Honk if you're Hank" remark. That's so funny. As Victor and I both said during our visit, it was as if we had known each other forever, and it is truly the wonderful thing about the terrific people that have become such good friends through this website. Amazing! I just have to share one shot we took on the vacation part of our trip home. We had Toccoa Falls all to ourselves and it was truly magical. I'll be back on again soon, but for now, I am a woman possessed. This place NEEDS my attention NOW!! LOL
I hate lima beans too Celeste!
Welcome home Louise!! What a beautiful falls. Where is it?
Love lima beans!
Hi Harper!!! Thanks for the welcome.....so good to be back!! Toccoa Falls are in north Georgia along highway 441, which is sort of a waterfall trail. We also went to Tallulah Falls about 10 miles north of Toccoa. Tallulah didn't photograph as well because you had to stand way above the falls, but they were beautiful too. We just kept happening upon these gorgeous places and had them all to ourselves. At Toccoa, we had a sense of how it would be to just happen across the place unexpectedly. I hope we get to see you at some point over the summer!! Sam too!
Welcome home Louise ^_^ So happy you arrived safe and sound. I'm greeeeeeen about the fiddleheads pixie. A friend leaves for Halifax this weekend and I told her not to come home without eating them.
Hi Louise! Wow - those photos are stunning. That was in GA, correct?
I love lima beans too. Cooked in chicken broth.
welcome home!!!!!
