Synda Sage said thank you, grinning from ear to ear!
Trisha-it looks kind of like a seaside home for fairies......too cute
OK ,back to work,no more slacking........LOL.
Cody those are gorgous !!!!!!!
Thanks Synda.
Jaye,i will cherish them forever.I love them and love you.
We got her the kit a JoAnn's for her birthday on Wednesday. It comes with the dish, house, soil mix, grass and bean seeds (we didn't use the beans in it) all of the rocks, the frog and mouse......two shells were in the kit, but she picked up a bunch of clam and mussel shells down at the Port on Thursday. The clam shell is what she used for the pond. She is like Laura and I....we had fun with it and want to make more. She wants to make a Big one like we have.
Ours are about 2 feet across.
I want to make a cottage for my next one. If it doesn't rain today Laura and I are taking Sage and Orion for a walk in the woods to get some pictures of the Fairy Door....there are some beautiful mossy stumps and trees, mushrooms......a whole Fairyland in back of Orion's house! Wish it was in back of My house!!
How Beautiful!!!!! Jaye you did good!!!
Cody you are a lucky girl...those are fantastic gifts.....but I am with you, I think Jaye is our best gift.....she is so good at making us all happy....even when we don't feel like being happy...and we do Love her!!!
Yes,Trisha, you are right. She knows how to bright anyones day up.We all love her very dearly.
Cody they are precious!!!! Oh I want to live out of town where I can have li'l critters again!!
We bought 6 Flying Mallards form this man to.All 6 for 5.00.He clip their wings so they will never fly again. They hatched out yesterday. It's neat when you hold one. When they go to sleep they lean their heads over.Last night when i was holding one it kept leaning its head over and i thought it was dying. So i kept moving it and it would move.Come to find out when they are that tiny they lay their heads over and go to sleep.
Oh an apron to absolutely die for! Roosters, roosters, everywhere! Love it.
Happy Birthday!
the geese are so sweet. but they grow so big, and I wouldn't have room for that many here, and don't think my neighbor would appreciate even one maybe getting into her yard. She tolerates my dog, but then,,,,I tolerate both of hers in mine. lol
Our dogs are good neighbors, they visit each other. lol
got to get back to the pool. What a job this is turning out to be, 'course I told the boys it was going to be a job, but did they listen????? NNNNNoooooooooooo! So now they are out there in the hot sun, putting the sand around the inside edges, and getting it ready for the liner. We are close, but it's not ready to swim in yet. lol
bbl
Thanks Trisha, this man had them everywhere. They are very nosey too. When their is something going on the whole gang would come over their making their sounds. They will be beautiful geese when they grow up.I was out their feeding them this morning and put some feed in my hands and alot of them started eating out of my hands. So i'm going to try and tame these so they will protect the family like a watch dog.
Thanks Marilyn, the other side of the APRON has Ducks,Chickens and Brids.
oh Lordy! my sistahs will NOT believe the lovely tilled new beds we have now! I overdid it a bit out there in the heat moving plants out of the way. dug 2 clumps thrift, 3 mums, a couple daffs. was going to move the climbing roses, then realized there wasn't enough umph left in me.
Randall finally has a string trimmer, and he was getting the driveway edges defined for me without me even asking - isn't he an angel? two of the new portions of beds go right along the edges, and the fella showed up with a small kubuta! he had what would have been 3 backbreaking weekendsof work for Randall and I all done in 30 mins! I tipped him extra extra.
then I bird-dogged him over to Brad and Melanie's place. while there, Mel paid me for the compost and Brad helped me dig up plants he wants me to take to the RU next Saturday to trade for hostas for him. the guy also moved a pile of clay for me, graded it out into the area he tilled. Mel heard that and had him move a big, similar pile for her to a low area she needed filled in. (we both tend to end up with clay piles left over.
we're on our way to look at cameras. Randall says he can afford to replace the one I lost after BJ's place. Then we pick up the mower. hope this heat ends soon - it's too hot to do more today. Randall says its reading 98 on our temp gauge.
Stacey, so n ice to see you back with us! Hope your feeling better?
Trisha, you tell Sage, that litle fairy garden is adorable! I love it!

Trish - I just LOVE Sage's fairy garden. She is really one very talented young lady and she should be very proud of herself. She obviously has a vivid imagination which is so good to see in a young person today. Kudos to all of you who care for her. Hugs, Barb

Morning All,
Not much chatter going on the past couple of days.
LK, that bird is so pretty. Has colors that a parrot would have. I need to find a EE so I can make me a bird bath. I've got an old ditch drain pipe that it would fit on perfectly. Deborah sent me a bulb of Black Magic EE but it didn't make it.
Cody, your apron is very pretty. Nice job Jaye!.
I've got 1 more geeky critter to make YIPPE!! I've got such a kink in my neck from looking down, oh man it hurts. Guess I'll go hit the hot tub.
