Me first!

I'll repost.

I hate when that happens. We have a great postman. Unless it is something that needs to be signed for, he will leave it for us in a shady place or on the covered patio.

I wanted to share some pictures from my birthday party.

This is Kyle. He is two months old now, 14 pounds.

Here are Kavin and Will. Both to be 2 soon. Kavin will be 2 on the 24th of this month, and Will will be 2 on Aug. 7th.

Kavin weighs 42 pounds and is 36 inches tall. His new brother will arrive on April 30th.

Those are two pair of the most precious kissable cheeks!

I agree Deborah! But OH those terrible twos!

This is Bryn, She'll be 10 next month.

This is Emma, Bryn's sister. She'll be 7 in June.

Last one for now.

This is Amber. She is Kyle and Will's half sister. She's "almost" my granddaughter. She's 18.

Kaitlyn, Karolyn, Jordyn and Luke couldn't make it that day. :O( Once Colby Jonathan gets here on the 30th, that will make 11 for us!

AW such cute babies, I want another grandbaby but that's not going to happen so I wiil just be totally happy with my two that I've got. Friday I will be picking my grandaught up from school and we are going to make suncathers out of cd's. I can't wait!!!

According to my mom's bathroom scales I've lost 11 pounds in 2 months, but I'm not going to go by that. I will have my weigh in on Tuesday at Curves so we'll see then.

Cookie, give your parents our congratulatory hugs for us please!! Wow...70 years! They truly raised each other besides raising their own kids! And they must have a quality marriage. Great kids that give no problems also cement that bond.

LK and Deborah, my problem is all packages are always left at the shop!!! I'm just a few hundred yards away, but it's too convenient for UPS and USPS to just leave them with Kel. Oh well, at least they get delivered.

Maid M... I am so sorry you are dealt with indifference. Attitudes like that is unacceptable in any businesses. You certainly need physical help in getting your limbs remove, hopefully, the next one that comes along will take up the job at a good rate.

I had pinned my headaches down to this: Side effects of trying to let go of hurt!! Lolol!!!! I did good!!!! Didn't say a word, read my bible and sleep, sleep, sleep!!!
So, a return to my glorious self, sistahs!!!

Update on Cindy.. aka Riverland. Some of you know her already.. but for those who don't. She's from MidSouth forum and need prayers badly. Supposed to have a surgery today, so they could "pad the main nerve going into the trigeminal ganglion" to relieve facial pains that she's been suffering for years. To do so, surgeon will be drilling a hole in the skull, behind her ear to get to the brain stem.
But, her bp was too high yesterday, and the surgery's been put off, under advisement of her personal physician.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers, like you do the others.

It certainly is chilly outside, but I'm not going to let that deter me from enjoying the garden. Blue Sky vines are blooming, brave tropicals!! And I'm anxious to see whether there are more bruggies sprouting!

Congrats Cindy! What discipline you have!
I'm not a frequent visitor of my treadmill!! Might need Cody to push me!! Lol!!

Bonnie, she's certainly young, and sweet. All the advice from her aunts, I'm sure will help her in doing the right things.

Laura, we've been missing your postings. Have you finished with the unpacking.. set up displays on the new walls? I bet you and Sage enjoy the convenience being a skip away from your Mum.

First Jaye, you are definitely more than the "page turner". I am happy your headache has gone away but so sorry for the hurt that caused it--hope it wasn't me.

I am really in shock that I am having so much trouble with getting someone too. It isn't as though they haven't seen the yard--maybe they just over book, who knows. Yes, have called but no return calls back so far. Go figure. Sooner or later it will get done--must practice patience. Now there will be a challenge.

It is good to see Laura posting again--I know things have been hectic.

None of us ever intentionally go out of our way to hurt anyone here.. and we could easily do so, no convenient pysical contact, and can hide behind the screen.. though I'm too big for it!
Like LK, if we were there, I'd certainly volunteer Kel to help you and certainly Cody's DH, Rob, wouldn't mind either!
I'm sure you didn't don a Carmen Miranda costume when you discuss the job to them. They are just being unprofessional.

I got a very happy surprise yesterday!
I had ordered some gloriosa lilies' tubers from
www.willowcreekgardens.com for the first time. Can't believe they're so inexpensive, 6 to a bag. So, I thought I'd give them a try.
Well, the tubers are large!!! Happy here!!

Much more inexpensive than..... he he he...

Happy here, ALL my clematis are up and tendrils holding on to the fence. Yayyyyyyyyy!! I bet Sis Kathy's clematis are already in bloom, cause I have buds on some.

Cindy 11 pounds, that is fantastic!!!! Keep up the good work….I need to get started, I have about 15-20 that really need to go someplace else. With the issues I have been having lately I think I need to go back to our mostly Veg. Diet was feeling so much better then.

Trisha, I'd like to return back to vegetarian fare. But it's getting harder to find good tofu and impossible to get tempeh.
Moreover.. I'm addicted to red meat!

Well Jaye, I have that problem too......don't have the tofu problem.....we have a ton of good Asian markets around here.....do dearly love my steaks......but we did good by saving the steaks for weekends or really special occasions.....and having a lot of vegetarian or semi-veg. friends and a DH that will usually eat whatever I make and not complain helps a lot too. And we do a lot of chicken and Fish. I fought it for years but I feel so much better when I am not eating a lot of red meat...and right now my body is telling me I had better cut back or else...

Need to get and finish a few things--been invited out to dinner by a kid (oops, man) who grew up with my children. All were band kids and I was a band Mom--so we are getting together tonight. The 3 can visit while I play with the granddaughters. That will be more fun anyways.

Our anniversary is next Wednesday, he can't take the middle of the week off and that's the day before our huge conference so I can't take it off, and I'll be too tired to do anything the following weekend. We don't have anything planned, just both of us taking an extra day off.

Whew... what a page already... I haven't even got the energy to read all this... sorry girls... but if there's something I need to know... poke me.
I did seem to pass by some pics of babies, kids, and I think they're Joyce's g'babies... I had to do a double take at Emma, though... she looks just like Joyce... bet if you compare pics of when you were her age... you'd see a spittin' image.

Don's been home today, and I've had him moving every since day break this morning... and we got a bunch of stuff done... I only have one more sad area to get in shape, then all my bed are finished for this year... I'm so tired.

Don went to get all the leaves out of the boat that blew in there, and found a surprise. Dolly laid her eggs in there... 7 OF THEM !!! So, he left those leaves alone that she made her nest out of... and we'll leave her to raise her babies before we move forward with removing more seats. I"M SO EXCITED !!! Guess she feels that a predator won't get them there like they did last year under my zinnias.

Well, guess I better go figure out what to feed this man that helped me do so much all day...
I'm on the down hill slide now... I THINK... so, someday I'll get to come play more with you gals.
