Ohhh Gita - lemon/lime sounds yummy!!!
Let’s Swap some plants! II Ric & Holly’s
Yep, some plants will be Lemon Basil, and some will be Lime Basil -- you'll be able to tell them apart from the smell/taste!
nice
I'll miss seeing all of you tomorrow. Have a great day!
Ok, the truck is loaded up with two tents, two folding chairs, one card table & tablecloth, and plants as follows:
(1.) Recently potted Greater Celandine Poppy babies: Maybe 8-10
(2.) Bilbergia nutans (Queen's tears) unrooted cuttings
(3.) Hawaiian Spider Plant Divisions potted up
(4.) Gooseneck Loostrife: two potted up divisions
(5.) Tradescantia "Maiden's Blush" (unrooted cuttings)
(6.) Epiphyllum antonyanum (unrooted cuttings)(very easy to root)
(7.) Tall Heliopsis (yellow flowered) pot with 5 rooted divisions in it; can be divided
A couple Begonia Plants (one was requested by ???)
A bagfull of begonia leaves
A gooseberry plant (for the gift table)
I am bringing along popsicle sticks to write the numbers down on them. Then you can look at my list here and see what you got. Saves me lots of time writing the name on each. I will print out the list I have here & put it on my table.
My Coleslaw & Cucumber Dill Dip is in the refrig & I'll bring some wheat thins for the dip.
Guess I will need to bring a cooler.
Suggestion: You guys might want to bring along ziploc bags & plastic bags to safely take your "swaps" home. Bob is bringing along something he creates in wood to show you what he does. See you tomorrow. Drive safely. Buttoneer

Lots of plants are potted or wrapped and boxed up, ready to go by the side of the driveway.
I didn't get Buttoneer's Heliopsis or Claypa's big hosta dug up tonight, and I don't know if I'll have time to try to split up any more greek oregano, but I think (hope) those are the only things I'm missing from my promised list. Button & Clay, I'm sorry, and I'll get those to you another time.
I still have to box up the flat of peppers and the scented geraniums and get the tomato extras sorted out. Also have to make my pasta dish and load up folding table & warming trays... The tomatoes will probably take the most time, so that's what will have to get missed if I run out of steam. I'm hoping I won't run out of steam, as I really need to re-home some of these! LOL
With or without the tomatoes, I won't be coming empty handed. :-)
Critter, no problem. I didn't write down any requests cause I am tired & will see what is left tomorrow.
Button, since we've been talking about getting together this spring/summer for other things anyway, I figured I'd have another chance to bring you some things from my garden. Thanks.
Just got done labeling. Got the spiedies done. Still have to pack the plants and dig 2 more things in the morning. Hope I won't be late Critter. I'll try to get what I can in boxes, but I'm not sure how that will go. I'll see come morning. I'm a little tuckered out now :)
Clay, I'll bring you one of those 2-piece self watering pots, instead! White, Green/blue, or Brown? Maybe I'll bring one of each for you, Chantell, and Holly, and hopefully everybody will have a different favorite color. :-)
Dang, I know I took photos of those pots, and now I can't find them. If anybody's interested, I'll try to fit a few more in the car... they look like the ceramic 2 piece African violet pots, but bigger (like 8 inches across the inner pot)... They were just $5 at Ollie's, and you can have one for what I paid for it. They'd be nice for ferns, gingers, anything that likes consistent moisture.
