You are so talented, I'm not very steady so my lines never come out right, unless I could draw his head with a bowl! I tried to learn by making some short lines, but that doesn't work either, I end up with an odd shape. I could do the eyebrows lol!

Betty, your painting turned out lovely! I am doing better, now time to go look for a job! sorry to hear about your friend. I kno when dad passed, it took me quite a while to recover...but then I was only 20 and he was 54, it was very unexpected :o(

I don't do it on purpose LOL but hey, I don't like her anyway so if she gets mad then why not egg it on, she just wants to bully me. She's not going to the Director because she knows it's her issue and she's guilty as all get out. Why would she take it that I was calling her Lazy when she wasn't even in the conversation, unless she's got a guilty conscious. I noticed that she made coffee this morning and did the dishes, she hasn't made coffee in about a month and she hasn't done dishes in about 2 months.

Remember last October she spread it around that I was an alcoholic, I told another employee that I was going to sue her for harassment, I think that employee told her because that very next day it stopped.

Here's what's happened within the past month.

She got mad at my conversation with the Director and an attorney about our degrees, she wasn't in the conversation nor were we talking about her and she jumped my ass about her not being so fortunate, I just looked at her and told her to get a grant and apply for financial aid and get one, she hated that comment because she'd qualify and would rather be all nasty than to do something about it.

She's on a very strict diet and got mad at me because I got Popeye's and didn't bring her any. She's been mad at me for bringing in a hamburger and didn't get her one, she's allergic to beef as it will send her to the hospital.

Now she's mad about this. What's hilarious is anyone else says and does the same things I do and she doesn't care, if I do it she has a coronary, she's just extremely jealous of me and it pisses her off that I don't care. I bet she's going home and saying that I'm all upset and what-not to make herself look big, she lies like that. Well, she lies about everything and causes her own grief.

She told me one time that God wants her to be negative, and God killed her friend because he couldn't find a church and was warning me that I was going next because of my lack of religion, she has no idea if I'm religious or not.

OMG Crissy, something is definately wrong with that 'cookie'..best you beware...little off I would say...just be nice....that alone will drive her nuts..now I'm not nice! lol

Just picked up soups and a flatbread Pizza for Suzanne and I...girls already went out to eat...short afternoon..ohhh 1 1/2 hrs. to go..I have about 1/2 hr. just to clean my desk of sketching materials...

Who knows, each day this week I've come home to something 'special'..earthly angels at work..maybe my door will be there and I can design it and work on it all weekend seeing as it will rain all of it...

LOL She hates it when there's any type of laughter and I'm very giggly and can be even more giggly at any given point of time. Just now!! One of the gals is going through a divorce and her husband won't agree on anything so their going to court. I told her she should bribe him to giving her what she wants, that woman looked at me and said, "Oh no, don't bribe him, threaten him with bodily harm!" Yea she's a cracker alright!

That's awesome! It's a beautiful day and I want to be outside, maybe I'll cut outta here at 4 and even out that 30 minutes extra I have on time.

It's gorgeous here! Lots going on this weekend. DS ACT test tomorrow morning then DS, DD1 PROM tomorrow night. I can't believe I have kids going to Prom! Went to get sons tux fit yesterday and was getting teary...he looked so handsome & grown up.

She walked in one day in front of the other secretaries desk, looked at her and said, "So who died and made you Ms. B*^%^?" OMG I almost died laughing, but I didn't, I was good! Yay!

Betty - if the birdies are showing up ....that means gardening is next, right? I saw a gorgeous cardinal yesterday. Unfortunately he was hopping around on a HUGE branch (over 10') that came down during a morning thunderstorm....so I hope his nest wasn't on that branch.... It sure is gorgeous outside now...

Crissy - Memory pills? I need some of those... :) Hopefully she doesn't deal with the public with that attitude....

OMG I feel so bad, here's Tom, broken back a few years ago, can hardly move, had to take off his brace, working like the dickens to give me a new door..tight quarters..

Here he puts the handle on, wouldn't you know, not enough clearance, when you open the washroom door it hits the closet handle,so that's no go..

Someone asked me how I got to do some of the projects I do..mistakes/mistakes/mistakes...you know I wanted to paint the door to have a faux shelving design, well, just changed the how...now that there is a hole in the door where the handle would go I decided to make a trip to Home Depot in the morning, get panels cut to size, allowing for trim to go around the panels which will be glued to the door with Liquid Glue, be more flexible painting the panels than lugging and trying to paint on the door..once the panel and trim has been attached, voila, no one will be any the wiser...another 'mistake' taken care of....

Feel terrible in the pain he's in he's here doing work for me and won't take any $$$$.... his back brace sits on the floor as he's in so much pain he cannot even endure the brace! prayers for Tom please...

Sailor and Missy sit outside out of the rain...I am so tempted to take the plastic down off the deck but I know we've more snow coming...just a few weeks more....

Yes - Tomorrow night. Took DS to get haircut today. Girls are helping Paw Paw out tonight so hopefully it'll remain quiet around here and he can study for ACT.

DH took them over there so we're the only ones home right now. I took DS out to eat at Outback after his haircut....so was a nice little mother/son visit.

What do you have going on this weekend? Looks like good weather?

Beautiful weather, so from the looks of the picture above, if it is dry enough, i will be weeding like crazy. It has rained every other day all week, and I am unlikely to weed in the mud!

Glad you got to have dinner with your son.

I actually enjoy weeding from time to time.

MIL told me that back when she 'could' weed (bad knees now) she loved to weed when she was mad at her DH. I think I've taken frustrations out on some weeds from time to time. :)

Okay - First pic is Shadow finding the little garter snake that scared the heck out of me from time to time.

Of course DD1 LOVES snakes so she put it in a little aquarium in her room.

I told DH....well at LEAST it won't scare me in the garden now!

He complimented me on being so positive about it !

So about an hour ago....I find out.....



IT"S NOT in the Aquarium anymore !!!!!!.................

SO - I guess I'm gonna have a really good nights sleep!

This is the Gazania that Betty had asked me about. I bought them last year but only 2 survived me. (One was thriving and blooming so much I transplanted the other 2 to be near it and in doing so somehow killed the thriving one...!?!?!?) They are sold as "Annuals" in the garden so I suppose I'm doing well to have 2 "act" as perennials.

They are supposed to have all different type blooms but these all look the same so they aren't as interesting as when I bought them or as how they bloomed some times last year....maybe it's just these blooms.....

Here is a pic I took with Sharran in mind. :)

And finally this is the BEST of the four Hibiscus I planted last year. (DH said - treat them as "annuals" well in THIS case - he was WRONG! ) This one has been blooming like crazy. Need to plant more HIbiscus in this microclimate!

Okay - This "Talking to myself" is getting a bit weird...so I'm headed to disboards and I'll check back before I go to bed.

Doing good, trying to finish up a couple of clay orders and still have a couple leather projects to complete......just hoping I don't have to drop everything and go to Oklahoma in the middle of everything.

NOPE. our first cats always brought me their little trophies from outside....didn't mind the mice and the voles etc. (these cats never killed these things) it was the garter snake curled up in the middle of my bed that had me in fits......

Well - Hopefully - I won't have a Repeat of this tonight! I'll keep you posted!

It probably found it's way out, it is more afraid of you than you are of it....

Hi Trisha....I don't like snakes either, but have never killed one. I always go the other way.

I am so excited about my tulip! And Mary, my hibiscus stay outside year round here, too...they always come back.

I am so glad we are starting to see some flowers!!!! I am so ready for summer.....whoohoo and Mary can show us all her flowers and things anytime now..

I didn't think I would ever learn to deal with all the pictures and stuff....now I never leave the house without my camera and my phone....and a lot of times my computer. It is nice tro be able to take a picture and send it a few minutes later!!

Just keeping up with the times, and enjoying all the new stuff, I think.

Yes, I remember working with computers in the late 80's early 90's....not the same beast we have now!!!....and didn't even know about cell phones either....just Star Trek Communicators!!!!
