Yes, I think it's too damp for them here. My sister in Simi Valley grows them with no problem at all.
Blue flowers blooming now
I love Lisianthus, especially the doubles and the bicolor ones. I wish they would reseed.
Nery, I was going to say your Oxypetalum looks just like Tweedia, but then I googled them both and saw the same images for both. I guess Tweedia is Oxypetalum. I used to grow it, but it was very temperamental here, dying for no apparent reason.
.
Are you sure, JoAnn?
Hey!! what are you doing up at this hour?
Sure it counts. I love William Guinness.
I'm always up at this hour. It's only 2:30 here. I work at night and stay up until 5:00 or 6:00. Then I sleep till noon.
There is a gardener who does night work.
I often talk to her just befor she goes to bed.
She's on Northeast GrdnFrum
Zuzu, your sense of humor is superb!
Beautiful flower, ge!
I'm struggling with a new Laptop.
What ever posessed me.
I cant get used to the small print so I enlarged the fonts, things are a bit better.
My eyes are so bad that I can only use it in certain parts of the house where there is no glare.
I need spyware so I tried to download a new securiyu system but since the Outlook Exp. isnt set up on the LT I recieved the notice of purchase on the computer from hell I've been using and nearly downloaded it to the wrong computer.
I'm glad I have lunch with a freind today and the people are coming to clean.
I had to put the*********** thing away.
Its cold and cloudy as have been all mornings.
The garden isnt fun when the weather is like this.
It's blue enough for me. Beautiful iris.
Finally this lacecap hydrangea is blooming. I got it as a little rooting in 2005 and now I can enjoy it.
What wonderful blue flowers! The combination of colors in that Delphinium is just enchanting.
pirl's delphiniums are really great. As are the JI's...(and everything else she grows ! )
I think she took a course in growing delphiniums and passed it with flying colors !
Yes, I took the course from JasperDale himself!
Nice photo, Jo Ann. Blues and lavenders are so cool on the eyes.
Thanks for the reminder. I'll go take a photo of mine.
This is a collage of plants near the camp.
Thereare 2 campc planted with a JI'that I hope will continue to grow.
the pink flowers above are ger. Hocus Pocus
and the right pix is Blue Cadet buds.
The plants are grand but the art in the garden is wonderful.
It certainly is. That stone (?) behind the hosta is exquisite.
Jo Ann has a lot of beautiful pieces like that.
That is a clay tile I bought from the sculptor who made the bird bath and 2 other pieces for the garden.
