Robin... Pebbles has the same colorations as Mocha, Cody's new baby. Was at a pet store yesterday, and there's this adorable long haired Chi for sale.. around $300! Lola almost had a brother... until Kel says we need to go to BJ's!!!

Have as much camellias you want Cody. Good thing is they are so easy to take care of. I went crazy with brugs last year, but they are such fussy babies!! Right Robin?

I finally caught up with the reading in this thread, still have to read all the others yet. We came back early this am from camping. Alot of people coming in with huge RVs and boats so it was time to leave. That will be one busy camp ground this weekend. The picture below was taken from our site looking towards the lake. We had the perfect spot. Early morning sun, then shaded all afternoon. Told Rick will get this spot more often. Nice hike up and down the hill to boat. So I still got exercise even though I missed Curves this morning.

Can't remember all I read but I do remember the talk about BJ's. Nope I won't be able to make it. With Rick been laid off, there is no extra monies to save :(. That is going to be one great get together that I'm truly going to miss.

Our camp site and motorhome. It's an oldie but it gets us to where we want to go and has the most comfortable bed. Everything works good too. DD says we look like okies going down the road. Rick says "You have a problem with okies?" He's from Tulsa, OK.

Last but not least. Me and my catch. Rick had them for dinner last night. Tried to get me to taste. YUKKIE NO WAY!!! I'll bait my own hook, catch the fish, take them off the hook, and clean them. But I will not cook or eat them.

Me to Jaye, and this one had chicken in it as I have never seen it made with chicken... You go Cindy... I love to fish...

it feels like y'all have been gone forever, and really I've only not been reading for a few days.

been busy today. another sleepless night. Randall forced me up in time for exercise class because "there's something wrong with the water heater or filter. hear that?" what I heard was a woodpecker outside! he insisted I watch over the utility room, which I did, in a chair sitting with my head draped on the washer, until I got bored and went to class! it was a WOODPECKER dang it!

glad I did, as it's the last Friday of the month and we all go out to celebrate all the birthdays. since it's AOA's, and I'm 56 next month, I fit in, but I'm a young whippersnapper. Most these folks are over 70. We eat at Mimi's. stopped on the way home to the pick up pool chemicals to open the pool Sunday when the rain's supposed to stop? hope so, the crick is high now! been planning iris purchases ever since.

Jaye, sounds like it is time for the fun to start...what you going to make first?? Which book did you get??

Ok, Cindy... you bait the hook... catchem... and take them off the hook... Trisha and I will cleanem... and of course... we'll eat almost anything that doesn't eat us first... I LOVE FISH... but, I can get Don to eat fish once in a while, but not often.

Ok, we needed some rain to fill up the lake... but enough is enough, already... we're soggy wet everywhere.

I think the worst of the weather for today has passed. Tomorrow we are expecting to have a repeat--as long as it come during the day I can deal with it--hate it when it gets really bad during the night.

Kim is fine, nerves a little frayed from being in "emergency situation" with a group of high school students--actually a large number of then. Seem they were upset they might miss the lunch. Go figure!!

Nothing wrong with Kel's choice for dinner. When you come visit us tell Kel, we will see to it he eats at all the Mexican restaurants here--each know for it's own special dish!! Between Kel and Kim, Jaye and you are in trouble. Her absolute favorite is Carnitas with lemon(lime). Now let's see when will your coming here be? Need to make sure she isn't in Costa Rica. Oh funny, they put the sombrero on people here too. Waiting patiently for the picture.

Oh glad Kel remembered BJ's, I know the puppy was hard to resist but...................we are too I hope.

Yes Bonnie, about a month and we will have flowers and some decent weather occasionally...I can't wait!! I do love it when the Rhodies start to bloom !!

I was pooped after we got home this am, so I crashed for awhile. LK, our door faced the east, so come 7 am we got the sun right in our face but oh it felt so good. As a matter of fact everyone's door faces that way in that campground. I think they built that way. It is privately owned and the people that own it are sell pieces of land around the lake. Rick wants to buy a piece real bad.

Well, after dinner Mike and I watched the movie "Changling"... was a really good movie.

It stopped raining, and now they're saying that it might snow as much as an inch north of Dallas, and into OK overnight ... doesn't look like it will here... but the temp dropped drastically this evening. it's 45* now.
And they say by Sunday, it's going to be in the 70's, sunshine, and SPRING again...

I'm off to bed now too... think I'll need the mattress heater tonight... and the flannel jammies.

Hi ladies! Just got back.. talk about a fiesta and a half!! I had carnitas.. and Kel helped himself to Chilli Relleno and of all things on the menu.. he chose Grande Nachos Supreme. Wait, b4 you all say anything.. yes he knew that's created in Texas, but that was what he wanted!!!
And no sombrero sistahs.. this gal forgot her camera! Much to his joy of course! BUT, to ensure that you all remember what Kel looks like, this is him with Brandon, one of the owners' baby, taken recently.

Cindy.. I can sure camp there anytime. Looks like Eden to me. And as for fish, I'm like BJ. You catch them, I'll clean them.

Sounds like a great Birthday Celebration (tell Kell he and I will get along fine, I don't like it when they make a big fuss over birthdays when all I want is dinner, and I only like to operate from the Back side of the camera!!!) Chili Relleno is one of my favorite dishes.....I have one recipe I found on line for Killer Chili Relleno.....it really is good, I see if I can find it and will post it for you.
