Sleep tight!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

I could do okay with 6 hours, but only now and then. Too many nights like that and I'm getting too drowsy during the day.

I actually woke up 15 mins before the alarm... but refused to get up until it went off

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm trying to get up at 5 or 6 but cant stay awake until 10 to do it.
Glad there are some early birds to keep me company.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yes but DH and I have coffee. He just left.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm usually up by 5:30-6, and go to bed around 10. I like to sleep too much.

Wow - cool find, Allison!

Port Washington, NY(Zone 7a)

Karen, I've found rabbits eating my crocus flowers and the tips of the new shoots. Lilies too! I don't have deer so I'm not sure about them.

I'm not sure who started the poppy talk and all the beautiful pictures but a pack of poppy seeds fell into my cart yesterday at Lowe's. Not that I needed them, all but one of my perennial poppies from last year look nice and healthy with lots of new foliage. I wish I had the space for that Poppy pasture, Celeste. Please post pictures when they come up.

Its nice to know Christmas shop isnt just for the holidays. I'm there.

The closest is like an hour and a half away ! One thing about semi-country life that is not good.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Did Pixie say something about the christmas shop?

ears are down, not a good sign.
Great cat.

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Her ears are flat by nature. But, since she not an outdoor cat, everything that she finds is a completely new and unknown "Thing".

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Never seen that.
Love her color Mmmmmmmm could be you have a hair theme going there?lol

Thought y'all might like a small seedlings update, here. Everything is growing faster and faster. Everything has sprouted save the old seeds I found hidden in the basement.

Sprouted already includes: Broccoli Raab, Swiss Chard (two kinds), Cilantro (or, coriander, if you prefer) Brussel Sprouts, Garlic Chives, Leeks (Musselburgh Imp.), Sage, Acorn Squash, Spaghetti Squash, Winter Squash, Rhubarb, Kohlrabi, Parsley, Summer Savory, Marjoram, Mediterranean Oregano, Basil (5 kinds), Eggplant, Red Pepper, Hot Pepper, Tomatoes (5 kinds) .....

and, that's not even to mention the flower seedlings already sprouting.

I am going to cold frame in the veggie garden to get a head start on things, in the next week or two.

Here is a shot of the Basil Mammoth that is really going crazy. You can see it has really outpaced the Basil Aroma 2 (there is Aroma one showing bottom right), which was planted the same day.

Guess what's going to get cut and eaten with this evening's dinner!
