Thank you. These guys opened today.
Garden photos of '09.....#9
I am sorry that you are sick, Patti, & Karen, too. The flu shots are wearing off about now. I have crocus & amaryllis envy--now RI as well---and the bird pics were wonderful. Just as DH & I were leaving the drive about 6 yesterday eve. we spotted a flock of about a dozen turkeys in the yard---DH wouldn't let me go back for the camera--this morn I found what a mess they made, scattering pine needles everywhere!
nice Victor!
I love pierise. Will gat some for here.
Yay!
Allison, Robin and Shelly, I'm feeling much better today, thanks. I'm glad I took the last couple days off from work to rest, or I would be feeling worse now.
Nice crocus shot, Anita. Yours are nice too, Victor. And yours, Allison!
Patti, hope you're feeling better soon. I just got over the worst of a cold the last few days. Really knocked me for a loop. Feeling much better today.
Karen
Thanks Karen and Robindog. I did go downstairs for a minute, but I am back in bed, though it isn't the flu, just a lousy, rotten, no good, bad cold and cough and the rest of the unpleasantness. Just no fever. DH took some more pictures in the GH today to cheer me up. The old Clivia are busting forth. Love them. Patti
Victor, is your honeysuckle showing blooms already? I planted one two years ago and I haven't seen one flower.
Chuck
Hi Chuck. Nice to see you posting. No - those were the leaves emerging. Bloom time is later. Mine did not bloom right away either.
Nice, Anita! Yellow theme?
ha..it wasn't intended!
I have some daffodil buds getting fat, can't wait.
Nice shots all.
no picture yet - i have some crocus blooming!!
Congrats, Bill. I am up to 62 different varieties of clems, though I think 3 or 4 are no more.
you have a problem
me too...........
Victor, what do you use for your clems to climb? I have one of those spiral things, where you stand a wooden post up and put one end of the spiral in the ground and the other at the top of the post. Sounds like it should work, but my John Paul II did absolutley nothing, couldn't seem to grab the metal.
64 now.
Drum - I plant most of mine to grow through shrubs.
ok. ..... I agree with Bill. Both sentences.
Nice, Louise!
Here's a link to some images of the Goldfinch and its changing plumage.

Thanks Dyane. It does look like the one I had.
I was on the patio to take a crocus photo today. When I got up, I saw that I had laid on deer crap!
I'm sorry Victor, but that made me crack up.
