Tell Terry that I'm glad she had her surgery even though it's just as painful as the bull before it. My mom had nerve surgery 4 months ago and her dr said it was going to take 2 years for her to feel the full effects of it, if the surgery helped at all, so far it has not. She can't do anything since the damaged nerve is in her lower extremities. I feel for ya Terri. Please do take care and we love you hun!

My 5 day cruise was changed to a 7 day cruise since all of Mexico's ports are closed. We were going to leave on May 16th and sail from New Orleans to Progresso, Madrid, Mexico and to Cozumel, then back. Now we are leaving May 16th from New Orleans and cruising to the Florida Keys then spending 2 days in Nassau for the same price as the 5 dayer. I am so excited I just can't hide it! What a deal!

Celia – Wow I wish we were there. I (like you) have not seen the Lippizan Stallions since I was a kid. They are so beautiful.

Well our cruise itinerary has been changed because of the Swine Flu. Check this out:

We went from a 5 day cruise to a 7 day, for the price of the 5. Instead of going to Progresso and Cozumel we're now going to Key West and spending the night in Nassau! Now I'm really excited!

Key West is MUCH better!!!

We went to a local aquarium! We saw some very cool things . We thought it was a little place and it is but they've done some great things with what space they have.

That sounds like fun!! I had to work today and then go to my grandma's for dinner. I wasn't in the mood for company so I mainly avoided everyone and grunted more than I talked. lol.

I thought I was the only one who did that! LOL

Doctor ordered PT, so I started last week. I thought I'd try typing to you guys.....and my fingernails are too long...LOL My right arm is really weak. I don't know if I was on here since surgery? I'm thinking not, but I'm still on my "drugs"☺

I walked around my parents place yesterday. My dad doesn't know a weed from a plant, so he needed me (aww). Unfortunately, he wanted plant names and I'm a little fuzzy up there in the recesses of what is known as my brain. My best friend and my husband cleaned up our yard, her husband sat and talked with me. My plants are finally getting big. Wish my trees would hurry up! They are doing really good, so I can't really complain. She wanted the names of 2 plants and I can barely remember my name..lol! I did finally come up with their names.

Well girls, my wrist is not doing what it should do, which is hold my hand up so I can type. Good therapy for my to type maybe?☺ I'll check in on another day.

You "sound" wonderful! LOL So much more happy. I'm glad you could get outside and do some walking. That's good for you. And so is typing. ^_^ Thanks for letting us know. We miss you so much!!!!!!!

Hey terry!! You sound much better!! Not totally normal but getting there. Just keep working those muscles to build up strength again and you will get better.

Got these planted today.

That looks really good!!! I've been planting lupine, astible, lamin (sp?), baptisa, furosa, columbine, and a few other plants here and there. Still need to get cannas in the ground and lilies but I'm gonna have my dad rototill the areas for me instead of me digging a several foot long bed by hand. 2 of them actually. And if he won't then I will bribe my brother with food. LOL

The cruise was awesome and I am sunburned big time, but it was well worth it. Should have stayed on the ship :) Was driving out of New Orleans and got a speeding ticket, 75 in a 60, thought the speed limit was 65 (here in AR it would have been) and busy looking a freeway signs to make sure of my directions to check my own speed. Oh well, traffic school here we come! Got home and my 2 year old Whirlpool Duet front loader washing machine won't drain, so we went to the laundromat this morning and I will call a repair man Tuesday morning. Someone must have been jealous of my vacation and got even LOL!

I'm making albums on Picasa right now so when I'm done I'll post a link to the vacation pictures.

Terry you sound so much better! I'm so glad you were able to get out and clean up your yard, then help dad! Way awesome! I know it's not as good as it will be, but keep pluggin along girl, it'll get better!

Geez........if a doctor tells you to wean off the handful of pain pills he's had you on for the last 7 months? DO IT!!! Felt like I had the flu or something to that effect. Been down and out since then. This is THE first day I've felt like a human being. That Gabapentin is soo not nice. Lack of any exercise and that pill. I do not look like me. And none of my clothes fit, that lets you know what has happened. Man. I still need to walk around my yard and see all my pretties. I can see out my window that somebody walked from my yard to the neighbors yard or vise versa. And squashed a plant in the mean time. I think it's that whatcha ma hoogey, but I'm not sure. Oh you know, that tall thing, bloomed purple, was really pretty? Welcome to my brain! what's left of it anyway...shshsh...don't tell her I told you that....

Yeah, lamium. LOL!! I have 2 different kinds and we are selling (or were, one has pretty much sold out) 3 kinds. 2 have the dark green varigated leaves and one had mostly silver leaves and pink flowers. Gorgeous plant!! I will try to get pics of it. I put 2 in my tulip bed so when they are done I have something other than weeds to look at. LOL

Got some rain today too!! I was actually happy cause that meant no sun beating off the asphalt. The greenhouse at work is only up for 2-3 more weeks then it comes down. My customers won't be happy cause they have never seen the plants look this good there. LOL!!

I have no idea what that plant is you speak of. That's o.k. I can't know everything....lol...

Rainy here too. Rained yesterday, now today. Supposed to rain tomorrow. I have weeds out there John needs to pull for heavens sake! Hardy har har No seriously, I need to try to pull some up. I just know ME and I won't stop till they're all pulled up.

My computer has been freezing on me while standing by or whatever it does when you're not on it. I go to it and the screen is dark blue. It has Vista and I'm still trying to figure that out, let alone this happening. I haven't had this computer for a year, have I? I don't think so. If it has been a year, it's just at it. I'm on Krista's laptop and I can't type on these things. The keyboard isn't like a regular stand alone keyboard. Let alone getting the mouse to move where I want it. Argh!

Ya know, we have this Global something or other place that keeps calling and calling and calling. They call every 10 minutes, no lie. Oh, Global Outreach Int it says on the caller ID. I've taken to pick up the phone, I just don't say hi. Here lately they get to listen to the Cubs, right along with me. LOL I can hear them yelling. H E L L O ????? Do they think I'm deaf or something? I can hear them....lol....That reminds me, my grandma was deaf in 1 ear and couldn't hear out of the other. Of course she still had a phone, but it was very difficult for her to answer, to hear any one on it. Sooooo, let's say I was there and the phone would ring. I'd pick up, but my hello would be crackl-y ya see, and if they asked for her, I'd say it was her, but with a "who?" first and a "oh my hearing aid". Sounding like a little old lady but of course. 9 out of 10 times her hearing aid was in my hand for me to clean, so it was easy to make it squeal. I've always wanted to buy a whistle, a really really good, PE teacher like whistle. Blow that into the phone when they call. Perhaps they'd stop then? I'm mean, I know. I get so tired of them finding a way to get around the "Do Not Call List".

So anyway, we'll see if Krista will "allow" me to use her laptop for a couple weeks till I get mine back. If not, I'll see you all when I get mine back. And, I won't know where Krista went, she disappeared, just like that. Poof! My how my daisies are doing so well, aren't they now??

Terry sounds like your computer is hibernating. Does the screen come back when you move the mouse?

No Crissy. I also don't have it set to hibernate I don't think. I think another computer was on that setting and it just flat out wouldn't work when I'd come back to it. Not like this one because I get a screen telling me my computer wouldn't respond. Sometimes it's when I first start it up, so it says your computer wouldn't start, then it gives you choices to pick. If it was an older computer, I'd have no problem messing around on my own, but I've got an extended 3 year contract on this with Best Buy.

I'd be calling Best Buy and have them send out Geek Squad.

I didn't pay for them to come here...lol. I thought that was plain dumb to have to pay. Now I wish I would have paid the extra 100 bucks. I didn't have a lick of problem with my old computer, I still haven't. It's just upstairs, in Krista Land....lol....

I totally understand computer problems. Mine drives me up the wall alot but I have a guy my mom works with who comes out and checks on it occasionally. Keeps me humming along.

Now if I could just get my truck to work that well. LOL

Terry, your problem sounds like my phone these days. It took a dive on me yesterday. Started displaying a message I couldn't get rid of then started vibrating and I finally pulled the battery. Now I have this old phone and I HATE it. I miss my PDA and qwerty keyboard...(sigh)
