Too cold for this time of year! Just spoke with my stepson, who is 20 miles away from Key West---he's like "I heard it's been cold in ME & CT---I'm sitting on the beach in 75 degree weather---a little too windy for fishing". My reply cannot be typed into this site! Good luck to both of you, Bill & Victor. Am taking DH for a cortisone shot in his knee today---it's all they can do for him.

Brisk winds, makes it quite cold to walk doing errands at the mall.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I agree irisMA, had to go do errands also. BURRRRRRRRRR!!

The winds have slowed down, at least by half I would say, 13 -15 mph now. It made it up to 40 in the sun but the wind made it about 25, still better than 6!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Thanks Victor, for pointing me to the new thread, So it has stopped snowing here, but the wind is still blowing and I am still sick and annoyed at missing a week of being outside or for even out of bed much. But this too shall pass. I have been spending time ordering bulbs for fall planting from Brent and Becky, so that sickness of mine continues too.

schickenlady, do you always burn that much wood or was this winter brutal?

Thanks pixie for the pastel iris pic, that made me feel better.

So now 37 and blowing about the same. Patti
