LOL... Bonnie... you're such a hoot.
Don, who never asks for anything specific for dinner, has requested that I make Minestrone tonight... So, of course, I didn't have most of the ingredients, so I had to go shopping after I got my hair cut.
OMG it smells so good... Mike is pacing the floor drooling right now...
Better go check on it.
now THAT I can picture - he's all boy, an empty eating machine.
I just washed all my rugs-trying to air dry them and swept and mopped-hadn't done it in like 2 weeks-NASTY!!! Did the dishes, need to figure out what to make for dinner-something mild for my tummy as I have still been in the Bathroom several times today...
BJ-while I don't like soup, DH loves it-send some my way so I don't have to make dinner for him-K...
GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!! Mom showed up signed the papers. Punk will stay in a safe home and I get to be "grandma". He comes here every day after school. Loves nanna's chocolate mint cake. Thanks all for the T&P's
Praise God and answered prayers!
Wonderful news. He works His ways when the time is right. Enjoy as they are young for such a short time.
Yes it is.................He is such a joy to be with now that I am not the one that has to administer punishment. Oh Trishia, Yesterday he got in trouble at school and had to tell me. He knew he was getting a spanking. He cried. I didnt, I did not have the heart. But I told him that was his last one. He still knows Nanna means business.
Again thanks all.
Hugsssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a good day.
Tai, I'm so glad to hear that! It's so hard to go through custody court.
(((((((((((((((Stacey)))))))))))))))) You're a gem!!!!! I am just glad you are not around to 'stoke the flame'!!! I might end up having to bail you and Kel out of jail!!!!! They are just ignorants.. and if you noticed, fear is what makes people racists. Unfortunately, ignorants multiply faster!!
PTL Tina-Tia! Agreeing with Barb there. HE certainly does wonderful work and all according to His time! So, is PB staying with Darlene, his mum or you? He will certainly be more secure with his own family.
Children should grow up in a secure loving home. PTL that Sage is with Laura and having secondary support from Trisha and Bill.
Been a long time since I had Minestrone. Email some over, BJ!
This afternoon turned out better than this morning.... think I snored on the recliner!!!! So sorry Cody, I missed your call! By the time I noticed your number, Kel walks in and off we went to his favorite restaurant, San Jose'! He had carnitas and I had tilapia (it's good Stacey) with salsa verde. Not only do we love their food, but we love being surrounded by beautiful people such as these Hispanics.
You are right Jaye, all you can do for Ignorant people like that is Pray for them.
Tia, great news!!!
Bon ya need to talk to my little brother....he grills year round, sun, rain, snow....he doesn't care.
Stacey you need to get better girl......better learn to like soup.....it has been medically proven that a good chicken soup IS good for you when you are sick....sounds like you need some right now.....we need you back here in good shape!!!
Yep BJ we would all be glad to help you out with that soup!
I was trying to get some work done today, but all the sudden my knee feels like it has a ball behind the knee; this is different from my normal knee issues. I took some drugs and I'm giving it some down time hoping it'll feel better in a bit. If it isn't one thing....
It's probably all that moving, that can kill ya....I hate it.

HI Ladies
Today has been a crazy day.. I heard back from teh mortgage company and it turns out that the attorny fees are almost 4000 on top of the 3340 that they wanted so within 24 hours it over doubled what they said they wanted to reinstate the mortgage.. I calle dthe company hat was looking into our problems and they say it sounds like they really want this property for some reason and will mor ethan likely coninue to bother us even if we went to court. They said hire a lawyer and go to court or let them have it (since we are upside down and lots of repairs still need done), file bankruptsy and consider it lesson learned..
Donna, sorry to hear it's not working out.
OH Tia I am so happy for you has any one heard from Deborah yet and how DD and baby are doing still saying prays for everyone

TY Laura.. No worries everything happens for a reason..
KIM COngrats again on your new home..
Max and I had a long heart to heart about this situation and we have made a tenative descision that we may just let them have it and move home o Ohio where its cheaper to live. Hes calling his old boss at the machine shop where he was told when we visited 2 years ago that he always had a job if he ever came home.. His family is all there as well as most of mine aprt from my mom and sister here. Housing is 1/4 the cost to rent in comaprison for larger houses with land in the area we are from as well as better schools and less violence..
Trisha wow those are beautiful!
Oh Donna I am so sorry I wish you and DH and the Kids the best on what ever you decide Maybe in the long run all will turn out better
Its so hard to make Decisions cause you don't no if its Right or wrong But I have been going with my guts (Pretty stressed out) And I am hoping that I have made the right decisions and all will turn out OK
I hope that I put this in the right words and didn't get you upset
Here is something depends on wear you will move I am only 7 hours from you I could come and visit when I off in the Winter LOL JUst want to put a smile on you face ^_^
Hugs

Punk Boy is living with my oldest daughter Jenn. She is having a baby in September. She is the one that is going to college for her PHD that GOD has put on hold for a year, she didnt get a place to do her internship. This email that someone sweet went to me hit the spot...........
T he brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned
to their first ministry, to reopen a church
painting, etc, and on December 18 were ahead of schedule
and just about finished.
O n December 19 a terrible tempest - a driving
rainstorm hit the area and lasted for two days.
O n the 21st, the pastor went over to the church.
His heart sank when he saw that the roof had
leaked, causing a large area of plaster about
20 feet by 8 feet to fall off the front wall of the
sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about
head high.
T he pastor cleaned up the mess on the floor,
and not knowing what else to do but postpone
the Christmas Eve service, headed home.
On the way he noticed that a local business was
having a flea market type sale for charity so he
stopped in. One of the items was a beautiful,
handmade, ivory colored, crocheted tablecloth
with exquisite work, fine colors and a Cross
embroidered right in the center. It was just
the right size to cover up the hole in the fro nt
wall. He bought it and headed back to the church.
B y this time it had started to snow. An older
woman running from the opposite direction was
trying to catch the bus. She missed it. The pastor
invited her to wait in the warm church for
the next bus 45 minutes later.
She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor
while he got a ladder, hangers, etc., to put
up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry. The pastor
could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and
it covered up the entire problem area.
T hen he noticed the woman walking down the center
aisle. Her face was like a sheet.. 'Pastor,'
she asked, 'where did you get that tablecloth?'
The pastor explained. The woman asked him to check
the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG were crocheted into
it there. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had
made this tablecloth 35 years before, in Austria
T he woman could hardly believe it as the pastor
told how he had just gotten the Tablecloth. The
woman explained that before the war she and
her husband were well-to-do people in Austria .
When the Nazis came, she was forced to leave.
Her husband was going to follow her the next week.
He was captured, sent to prison and never saw her
husband or her home again.
T he pastor wanted to give her the tablecloth;
but she made the pastor keep it for the church.
The pastor insisted on driving her home, that
was the least he could do. She lived on the other
side of Staten Island and was only in Brooklyn
for the day for a housecleaning job.
W hat a wonderful service they had on Christmas
Eve. The church was almost full. The music and the
spirit were great. At the end of the service, the
pastor and his wife greeted everyone at the door
and many said that they would return.
One older man, whom the pastor recognized
from the neighborhood continued to sit in one of the
pews and stare, and the pastor wondered why he
wasn't leaving.
T he man asked him where he got the tablecloth on
the front wall because it was identical to one
that his wife had made years ago when
they lived in Austria before the war and how
could there be two tablecloths so much alike.
H e told the pastor how the Nazis came, how he
forced his wife to flee for her safety and he was
supposed to follow her, but he was arrested and
put in a prison.. He never saw his wife or his home
again all the 35 years in between.
T he pastor asked him if he would allow him to
take him for a little ride. They drove to Staten
Island and to the same house where the pastor
had taken the woman three days earlier.
H e helped the man climb the three flights of
stairs to the woman's apartment, knocked on
the door and he saw the greatest Christmas
reunion he could ever imagine.
T rue Story - submitted by Pastor Rob Reid
I tell her things happened for a reason and she cried and said Mom that is not what I wanted to hear. But she does know it. We were so stressed about her going to internship August 3rd and her baby due September 1st OUT of state. Now we have a year. And I get to take care of the baby while she is at work or in school. Now lets pray there is somewhere here that has the field she is wanting. Come on University of Oklahoma keep my babies here.
Kim .. No offense taken in any way.. I am beginnin to believ that everything does in fact happen for a reason and maybe this is our fresh start.. If we go home we will be in the Lancaster area which is southeast of columbus by about 30 minutes.. And of course I always welcome gardening friends..
Tia that story broughtears to my eyes.. Everything really does happen for a reason as I said above.. Im beginning to believe it..
Donna, that’s my life philosophy too.
Tia, that is a tear jerker.
Does anyone know if I could take my orange tree with me in a pot could I keep it alive?
If I over wintered it in a garage or basement?
Oh Donna,
I'm so sorry that this is happening. You will be closer to the twins if move, right. So that is 1 good thing. I do hope that it ends well for you. ^_^ Cindy
Yup we will be right around the corner from them. Th etwins would be so happy and we woul dbe able to be sure they are being cared for properly first hand.. Keeping the good thoughts rolling and making a pro list.. There are a few cons but not enough to stop us.. I dont think..
is it a dwarf one?
I have an orange grapefruit and lemon that I grow in pots here in east texas as it isn't warm enough in the winter for them and they stay in a green house so I would say yes
I got tears too. I cry over the silliest things. Rick is not used to seeing me cry when I watch a sad movie, lol. He just Oh man, I told him get used to it cuz I do it all the time and so does my mom, lol.
No its not a dwarf but I have a big pot and figure we could keep it inside for winter or construct a cover once it got tooo big.. Just the one plant Max wants to take other than our rose that bloomed today..
Oh, Donna... I'm so sorry to hear all that. But, good thing you have a positive outlook on moving to a less expensive place to live. I'll be praying that it all works out for you and your family.
I got half the soup left... but it was a huge pot... sending a bowl to all.
Then, after dinner... Mike got us involved in a riveting game of Holdem... Don won all our chips... and we quit because it's boring to play with just 3 ppl. Poor Mike... he's so bored in the cold and rainy weather.
MMM BJ thanks for the soup.> Always good to have..
Please dont be sorry. I love home and honestly have always said I woul dgo back some day I guess its just comming sooner than I expected but at least returning I have my head on alot straighter than when I left..
Found a really neat website about the area we are from and thought I would share it.. Im a country girl at heart.. Always have been and always will be..
http://www.visitfairfieldcountyoh.org/index.php
Donna-I am sorry to hear that, but maybe you and Max are right-maybe there is a reason for all of this and maybe the twins are it-maybe there is something in the universe that is saying that they need you, worse than you need the house...You won't be very far from Joyce and about 3 1/2 hrs form me-Columbus is 3 hrs SE of me....
Tante Jaye-you woulda had to have held me back if you didn't want me to say anything and Uncle Kel back and we would be holding hands like kids skipping away from that couple back you Tante:) To be so rude to one of the sweetest people to have EVER graced their path-SHAME ON THEM!!! I am all feisty now and ready for a fight;)LOL
I'm pooped. I worked outside for about 5 hours. Oh it felt so good. I turned over the chunk of wood to put in the front corner of my flowere garden to make a planter out of it. OMG! OMG! This HUGE wrom thing stuck it's head out. WHAT!! so I had to did it out. It's pictured below. But there were 3 of them this is the largest. Does anyone know what it is? When it was stretched out it was 4 inches long the other one was 3 inches then the smallest was about 1 1/2. EEEWWW it has a black head that comes out and big pinchers. It grabbed ahold of my shovel.
Ewwww... reminds me of the things from Wrath of Kahn.
eeewww s right now that weird... LOL By the way thanks for reminding me what real dirt looks like..
