I think you posted that somewhere before. I couldn't remember who had posted about their order but now I see it was you. : )That is what made me worry about ordering from them. But since you still have confidence to order I should try them out.

This is from a spreadsheet I started this year to keep track...sick eh? I lasagned a bunch of beds last year so I'm pretty much ready to plant. I'll start the rose holes early so I don't have to dig 22 24" holes all at once...this time!
Miles
wow that's some list
love to see it in bloom
Ohhhh. Ahhhh. Ooooooh. Sigh.
I like High Country Gardens a lot, I think their packing is exquisite to the point that it's hard to get the little things out sometimes, but we usually in the North East have TOO MUCH RAIN for their stuff, which is all bred to be drought tolerant. Doesn't stop me from trying.
I usually buy an agastache or 2, but have to treat them as annuals where I am. Nice list of things, Miles. I have rose "Fourth Of July"---very hardy for me.
Wow! Some list, Miles. Good luck and enjoy!
I said last year that I thought the topsy turvy things sucked. Waste of time.
Good to know about Fourth of July. I added it the last minute since it was on sales ;-)
Victor...what topsy turvy things are you talking about?
Miles
These:

Victor is always upside down, but I think he is talking hanging tomato plant thingy that grows them down instead of up. Patti
I agree with Victor... topsy turvy stinks!
Oh yeah, we tried those last year. but since we were not around to water them all the time the tomatos shriveled up and died. the stuff in the ground did much better!
M.
OK, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, the Gardeners Supply Company annual tomato issue is in my hot little hand. There are a lot more important things I could be doing. What say you?
Carrie, Name one. Taxes are done, and I don't do windows so garden catalogs are good unless you have money on a game today and should be cheering. Patti
Our taxes are not done but I need more information to do them and this catalog is IN MY QUIVERING hand. And I have a tomato success thing - I guess it's a planter or better yet an EarthBox - from them for Christmas that I need to learn how to use. Yes, the gardeners have it!
Enjoy it, more fun than taxes. Patti
MY tax return has long been spent. ;)
I have 'Fourth of July' rose also, this was it's first winter so I hope it survived!
Why does red color boost harvest?
Pretty!!!
Yes, that is nice. I'm thinking of putting mine on an iron arch between my shed and house....a bit tight on space, but worth a try....famous last words, I'm sure!
Miles
everyone' s been busy today posting - just in from the yard
miles that is some list!
have to warn a friend about those hanging t-plants contraptions - i gave him my GS catalog last week because he wanted to try it.
Sherrie, I love your changing towns!
Belated congrats to you, Sherrie, on getting the HD job. You must be excited. I would love to work for a local nursery, but I have a good job that I can't just up and quite, and then what would I do for the winter? If I had the money I'd fly south for a couple of months and stay with my sister in Texas. I do like what I'm doing for work, but I would so love to work with plants. Would be nice to be able to do it throughout the year.
Talk about plant purgatory, Victor, I would say Walmart takes the cake. I buy there occasionally, but they just don't water hardly at all. That's another place to look out for the hosta x virus.
Allison, I love your choices from High Country. I have been wanting to order some things from them myself.
Miles, that is really a big list. You'll be busy planting for sure, and your gardens will look great!
That Rockin' Robin is a gorgeous rose, Patti! Hope you feel better soon! I finally am feeling better for the most part, but have some sniffles and sneezing. Feels more like allergies now. Keep getting a tickle in my nose that makes me sneeze.
Karen
I picked up 2 Aquilegia at HD today... guess I should bring them in at night????
what do you guys think?
Not sure. Mine are starting to leaf out already.
Those can be winter sowed, they're hardy, I think they'll be OK. I doubt HD brings them in at night!
Yah, good idea, near the house, maybe with a blanket or cloth over them.
24... real feel 13
Ouch. The garage?
the garage isn't heated... it should be fine... thanks for the input!
Liked the 'Rockin' Robin'---Miles, my 'Fourth of July" is a short climber---about 4' tall. It's been in about 3 years, so I don't think it'll get any taller.
After a lot of DGers suggestions for daylilies - I have officially been bitten by the daylily bug! lol I've spent every spare minute I've had searching through every daylily catalog I could find online. I finally decided on some definite must haves. Aside from the Lake Norman Sunset, I chose them because of their names- oh and they were pretty too. ;)
I just placed an order with Sunset Meadow Daylilies
