We came from here.... http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/956504/

OK, so trying to start everyone off right with a cheery pic or two!

I don't have all the pictures from the last day or two pulled off of the camera yet, so here's a couple taken at Northwest Nursery again.

Those silly spaces again.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee. They have been decimating it around my neighborhood.

Nothing much going on outside, but our GH is pretty full. We will have our old orange Clivia out soon and we have a zillion buds on a passion flower vine which I am very excited about. I moved it to the west end to a hibiscus tree and it seems way more happy then it did last year on the south side in a big avocado tree. Patti

Oh, Patti, what a cozy place to hang out until you can play outside! How warm does the greenhouse get?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Must smell great when it's overloaded with plants!

drumlin, On any sunny day in the winter it could be in the 80's, but on a gray cold day outside it will be in the 50's. At night it drops down to the low 40's when it is really cold outside. We have only lost a couple of plants due to too much cold over the years, but then we don't try to grow anything that can't take near freezing temps. It is a joy, and our main daytime heat for the house. So we don't heat it, it heats us. The only supplemental heat it gets is from the waste heat created by the wood stove metal chimney which we diverted from the stove in the family room on the other side of the wall back into the GH before it goes up the chimney. You can see it in the Jan. photo behind the door into the family room. It is our own waste heat reduction system. We empty almost everything out of it for the summer and fall. I dread that chore. But I love my GH. Dogs do too. Patti

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

What a great space, Patti!!

My jades are blooming now, too, but mere babies next to yours! Very nice!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Do they have a scent??

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

love those!!!!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I don't think I have ever noticed a scent, Victor.

If anyone is interested one, I have several babies already rooted coming into their second summer. Remind me in warmer weather and it's yours.

Either variegated or not.

Here are a couple of them when I first started them, they are much bigger now.
