see I love the heat I am one of those people that never sweat and just get darker in the sun I can take over 100F before I even look for shade, I was made for tropical country but got stuck born in canada lol I was in floriday in july and it seemed I was the only one out at 2pm sitting out in the sun lol everyone else was inside or at least in the shade what a waste of good weather
Consider Death Valley for your next vacation.
Victor....that is prunus mume "trumpet" . Ok not really a flowering "cherry" tree, but how many can really tell the difference in the ornamental fruit trees?? :-p
Scicci. It's really good that there are folks that like that sort of heat. It's good for Texas!! I can tolerate the stuff. But, I don't prefer it, that's for certain!!
lol. Definitely... I understand that the property there goes for a phenomenal price!!
I was in italie back in 1987 that was the summer that people died of heat exhaustion I was 7 months pregnant and at the beach every day no problem had a great time
its like my skin is always cold no matter how hot it gets lol maybe its the low blood presure or Im dead and dont know it lol
I also am never bothered by musketoes they seem to swarm everyone else but I dont remember ever being bitten lol but they love hubby hahahah they find him no matter where he hides hahah
that's not fair Scicci!
I am human bate for mosquitoes
I asked the doctor about it and she says it has to do with very low blood presure the cold skin and that the bugs dont find me since she explained that they sense body heat to find dinner lol

had to go italie DH family is in sicily so we visited everyone was there for two months now we have to go again and bring the girls they are 9 and 10 they have never been there and want to go maybe next year would be good, we have been sending the girls for italian classes since junior kindergarden so they will be able to talk to the cousins and all make it easier for them to fit into the family
I understand it but dont speak it much unless I am mad then no problem it seem to come out fluently hahahahah
I yell lucyspeak at the mosquitos!
hahaha......
that's sort of like my vocabulary with four letter words. rarely heard during normal conversation. However, when upset.....well, let's just say others are usually surprised.
lol yes it seems we can all speak in many languages when pissed enough hahahhaha
lol. so true! however, I bet that it sounds much better in Italian!!
lol when they are all talking together it sounds like a big headach to me hahahhaha and they are very loud all talking and if you dont know any better it looks like they are arguing until they all start laughing lol
It's sounds as if that's when you have a glass of wine and join in! what fun!!
I am ravaged by mosquitoes. I get huge welts from them.
I fully understand that!!!
Good morning!
After a beautiful week end that felt so much like Spring, we ended up with six inches of snow and ice again yesterday. How depressing!
On Sunday, I just couldn't resist walking out to the back hill with Anna. We wanted to see if anything was 'green', or if it had even melted there yet. Sure enough, we had a small patch of beautiful looking mud, with one day lily shoot just barely peeking up. Now? ... oh well.
I just had to drag out my photo of my Valentine-blooming Amaryllis, to help me feel better.
That's a cheerful shot! Karen---what part of Texas are you thinking about? It's such a huge state, I'm sure there's a huge variety in weather conditions. Our friend's daughter lives in Austin---she'd never come back to CT.
