Taking a break, and cooling off... its HOT out there... 84*.
I'm making progress... but the more I work out there, the madder I get at the men in my family (specially the ones I raised) that I'm doing this by myself once again.
Haven't even seen the neighbor boy, nor his dog, today... must be too ashamed to come outside and face me.

I haven't called Kathy yet. Phone line's been acting up.
Think it's just from fatigue. It's been non stop for us for the last few days. Rest will bring me up to feeling normal again LK.

Glad your mom is doing better…..I know how you feel re: your dad…..I am starting to see a lot of changes in mom that weren’t there before….and it is hard.

Woke up to snow this morning…..just a dusting but it is cold….supposed to get up in the forties today and go back to rain again.

Jaye I will take catfish anyway I can get it…..I love catfish and I love tofu…..passing a large bowl!

Everyone take care….I need to take all of Sages Laundry over to the new house so she has something to wear to school…..figured since they are busy, and I don’t have to pay for water, that I could get her laundry done for them. Then it is Rock climbing class and spin class and another day is gone….where does the time go?

BJ glad you are making progress. I love it when my neighbors come out and look like bad puppies for not helping.. Then there is th erenters next door who don tseem to like the fact that we are puling the wood fence down. Seems they have a car that doesnt run in th eyard that the landlord was unaware of until today.. Wasnt trying to cause trouble but I think we may have.. O well ...

Im right behind you out there working in th eyard BJ.. I dont think its ever going to end... So this afternoon I turneed into crazy Martha stewart, did laundry, washed dishes, organized the laundry room and made a lasgna... lol

Anyway for now I need to run Max is leaving in a few and I need to wrap up his dinner (his own small pan of lasgna for him and his boss). Will try to check in after a bit but my tv time is tonight for smallville with the kids and supernatural when they go to bed for me..

I don't know about some of you gals, but I get these telemarketing calls all the time... and we're even on the Do Not Call list... but this article is worth reading... be aware of this scam.

Thanks for the info Bj. We get at least 2 phone calls a day, for the warranty service, and once I hear who it is, I just hang up! Also for the credit card repair service! Very annoying! So now I am on the national do not call list!!! Home and cellphone!

Oh trisha that baby is precious!!!!!!I have to learn iof I ever get time.I collect dolls and I just love that little one of yours.......! I want to learn to do the Reborns that look real,I have bought a couple.

I have loved the little dolls ever since I was very small...thats what I spent a lot of my allowance for when I was about five to seven years old. The five and dime sold these little black ceramic babies about 25 cents. I would get a doll then spend my other 25 cents to go to the movie or go roller skating.....I saw one of those dolls in an antique store here a few years ago...I wanted it sooo bad...but now they want fifty dollars for it...:(

BJ, I get those calls every day! I have caller ID, so I decided to use it! If I don't know who it is, I just don't answer it! That was a good article, i didn't know anything could be done! I'm on both dnc lists, too!

Found out last night my best friend is driving down in june for a week to visit me! Cant awiat Im so excited to see my lil nieces.. She even offered to pick up the twins since she is comming down th eweekend that their mother agree dthey could come down. Shes a brave woman driving down with her 4 girls plua afriend for the oldest and her dog (diesel) he is a mastiff.. Shes going to ren a pop up camper rv to pull behind her once she gets her and will be staying in the back yard so we get all the time together we can stand.. Poor Max and Tony will be the only Males other than us 10 girls!

Got some work to do outside today and we have to ride dow n and pick up Max's check too.. I hate driving downtown.. ugghhh Normally he woul dhave gotten it before comming home but his night got canceledout again last night .. But he has to work all weekend..

Yep, looks like an early morning for a bunch of us...

I have dust bunnies like that staring me in the face right out in the open... they don't hide under my bed here. We've become friends.

What other plants do you have for sale, Donna?... I have plenty Gardenias, though... planted 23 of them 2 years ago, and they're doing great.

Gosh, there's so many sistahs that we haven't heard from lately... like Kathy, Deborah, Kim, and a bunch more... wonder where they are?

Got a big chunk of the chipping/shredding done yesterday... but I'm not done, by a long shot. So, I'll bite off a bit more of it today.
Got to get some laundry done too. Tomorrow I'm taking Mike to an indoor water park to meet some other AFS exchange students.

All the blisters have popped, and it's looking better. I'm putting the triple antibiotic ointment on them at night because I'm afraid that I might be getting them dirty with the yard work I'm doing... but they don't hurt as bad today... just a little burn when I rub against something.

Plants thhat look okay right now.. lol Umm i have some rooted passiflora vines (bielotti-- spellng?), umm roses in small pots (will know bloom color is a few days when momma blooms) these were supposed to be gold floribunda roses butIm thinking the buds on mom plant look like they will be pink, I have afew baby sago palms, bi/tri color ivy (great groundcover), I have 5baby red cluster azaleas left.

My brain is stopping...lol I think I lost all my angels.. So sad they are dead to the ground but Im hoping they will come back from the roots.. Dunno the last two freezes were bad bad bad.. We lost alot of plants..

Ewwww BJ were thse fire ants that got on you? Sure sounds like those nasty lil buggers bites to me.. The few I have in between my fingers are sore.. I popped them last night too..

Glad to hear they are doing better. I think I would rather see a tarantula, than get bit by those darn ants, and I can't stand the tarantula's, and scorpions!!! If my Dad see's a tarantula when he is outside, he tried to run them over in his electric scooter. I told him not to do that, cause they can jump! He did not know that, so now he goes way around them.

I hate spiders!!!!! The one bug I can live without and always seem to find the biggest hairuest ones within a few mile radious. .. Gives me the creeps..

Darn... I have all those... I might be able to use another passiflora, but I don't know till I get all this planted that I have already...
I'm really looking for some more hostas... the lighter colors, with white and yellow colorations... and maybe some ferns... I have a very shady spot that I need to but something that will take it over. What kind of ivy is that you have for ground cover?

For the life of me, I can not figure out the purpose for spiders, snakes, ants, and the mosquito. And I have them all here at the lake.
I like to use organic stuff for most things... but when it comes to pests, I get out the chemicals...

Yeah I dont mind snakes and most ants.. I still cant figure out how they say misquitos are good for anythinng.. My mom and I was having this converstaion last night.. She had a thought.. If you can get HIV from dirty needles how come they say you cant get it from a moqsuito? Fire ants was that a cuel joke or what.. i have the crazy lil back ants and they are horribly annoying but at least they dont bite,, I HATE fire ants! Uggghhh

My flowers hadn't even poked their little heads through the ground yet ,I think they are confussed. I can't wait until the 5th of March, we are going uo to Kellog Idaho to pick up our new truck. Had to wait until my husband had a day off. Its change of shift at the prison and he had to work 10 in a row. I finaaly figured out what to do on that knitting pattern I ask about, that is the British words for knitting, crazy huh
