Thanks, Sally. Gosh, I still miss her so much.

I see Addy still has the grandest ears in the land! Such a beautiful dog.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

aw, Java, -sniff-, I'm sorry!

well, maybe ya'll can meet Addy someday- she loves people.

Metro DC, MD(Zone 7a)

Yes, big hugs to FnFF & Hart. I hope that you are both doing well?

Sally, Addy is a beautiful 'young lady'!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Beautiful....

Here's Wall-e at 4 months old. I need to get some kind of fencing up around all my backyard gardens he loves to rip things out of the ground. He loves it outside.
The other day I brought him in and he smelled like onions...I was real confused until I found he dug up a pot of chives.

Oh, they are soo cute. My daughter Jen has a very old Pug and they know that sometime in the next year or two they will be looking for a new dog. German Shepherds are high on her husbands list. They can be very good family pets.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

Jen, good luck! But he's so cute! The ears and nose stage.
I lucked out because most of my gardens are (unimaginative) beds near all my perimeters and when we did the electric fence it set up a perimeter for her to stay out of. But I do still have a couple problem areas. Elec fence comes with little white flags that she soon learned to stay away from.I might be able to use that to my advantage.

Well here is my old Buddy, He use to pick apples from the lower branches of my apple tree and eat them but he has gotten too old to jump that high and this year we had to take down that tree. Funniest thing I ever saw. LOL
That is our sweet old blind Sassy giving him a grooming.

Of course my "Real" garden companion is Bubbles, I have to push her out of my way to weed and as you can see she shows up in a lot of my pictures as she quite often accompanies me on my garden walks. LOL

I don't think I've got the hang of posting pictures yet - this might be a re-post 'cause I'm not sure what happened to the first one:) Anyway, this is Spike, the mellow fellow. Que pasa, Dude?

woah... my pups are a snack for Zeb

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

There's the big boy! Handsome devil!

Shenandoah Valley, VA

LOL on the onion breath, Jen! I just love those big ears.

Zeb is so grand, Wrightie.

I have some new photos of Jello. I need to download them so I can post some. She's not a happy puppy lately - the vet put her on a diet. Since eating is something she thinks, like breathing, should be done constantly 24 hours a day, she's not understanding this at all.

Love that photo of Spike, Trish. Does he look contented or what? LOL

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh Wrightie what a terrific pic, Zeb looks very regal.

Middle of, VA(Zone 7a)

The few, the proud...the GREAT Danes!! Handsome boy he is!!

Hi All:

Okay, I'll weigh in on this furry thread with my two Goldens, Emma and Brinkley. Yes, Brinkley got his name from the film"you've Got Mail" but it fits him perfectly. The first photo is of Emma -- she's our 8 year old -- and the one of Brinkley shows him asleep in his favorite position -- up against a wall with back feet splayed apart. They love to keep me company in the garden!

Oh Wrightie -- that boy turned out to be quite the looker!

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

Lovely pups, Victoria! Addy's best friend in the neighborhood is a Golden. They play so well together.
(gosh I wish I titled this differently--I keep thinking of those who are feeling 'incomplete' without their buddies 8...^( I'm a dope

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I put up some willow barrier yesterday for my garden in progress and I caught Wall-e pulling them all up.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

it doesn't belong there Jen

;)

onewish--too cute!
ooohhh. when Addy was very young she found a great stick in a pot in the yard---- AKA a Plumeria cutting trying to root

Oh, Sallyg!! Great that you started this a-new!! And Addy is such a lovely Shepherd....So heartening to see all these lovely pooches!! Zeb is stunning!! Thanks for the support, ya'll. I have Hutch's ashes in a beautiful wooden box. I plan to give him a special place in the garden for his memory. Since he loved to sunbathe in sunspots and munch on buttercups, it will be a yellow-flowered garden under a tree.

For your pleasure, here is a song video by a favorite blues group, Saffire, that has a Jack Russell in it that reminds me of what Hutch would do--watch the clock for his anticipated activities!!

There is no greater joy for a pit bull than doing zoomies in the snow.

Was hoping you'd see that pic, Diane. I'm sitting here with tears - can't believe how much he looks like her. He was so happy today...went with me and DD on my side job so he rode around all afternoon with us - then when I dropped her off up in Linden she took him out to play in the snow - crazy pup...I can't even imagine what he's gonna do tomorrow!! He's such a good car rider Diane...he and Amber are my fav's to ride shot gun!!!

What fun pictures. Really beautiful dogs Sally and Jen.

Onewish, I hope that you sent this photo as a Christmas card. So very cute.

Aww.... Holly, one of our fella's is getting up in age too. I have always loved the look of Beagles, though I have never owned one. Cute kitties too.

Trish, I would love to know what Spike ws thinking in that picture. ha-ha

"Great" picture of Zeb, Wrightie. Nice house in the back ground too.

Real cuties Victoria. Our dogs sometimes sleep in that position and I find it hilarious.

Makwa is gorgeous Chantell.

Thank you for posting snow pictures of Java, Hart. She was such a wonderful dog.
