I had posted Bj I know the feeling I sat there for about 10 min before I got up as it really hurt

and Marion ...ROFLMAO me keep y'all out of trouble and straight...dear then you may not want to ever go shopping with me as when I am with friends I have a tendency to go over and push buttons on things that make noise so they are all going at once and walk away I also have been known to start saying Mommy I want ...... or say Marion don't' leave me if you are at the end of the isle away from me.....no I do not do it with DH though
and y'all would crack up at work if ya came by to see me as my office roomie and I have a great time at work ...it helps to laugh and have fun to release the stress from the buses and such and we know who we can joke with and who we can't and still stay "professional".

Hi ladies. I haven't posted for some time. Been busy. Sorry for my absence and missing everyones news.

I'm placing a post in another forum for starts of Blueberries and Raspberries that will grow in my zone (5b). If ya'll have any and would like to spare some I will pay for S&H.

Hubby and I have been talking about our Berry patch and how we need to get it done. I think this Summer will be the time we can get it in. Hubby's work will go on a 2 week shut down in late June and early July. No pay but a great time to get some things done.

If you have starts just send me a Dmail.

Past midnight here, and we'll be gone again tomorrow.
The casket had to be specially made as Kenneth was a big man. So the funeral's postponed to Tuesday.

Well, Kenneth's borned with a degenerative heart. When he was 16, after undergoing intensive surgery, replacing his valve with a pig's... his Dad led him to a grave site and told Kenneth, if he chose to eat an unhealthy diet, he'd soon be in that grave.

Sad thing was.. just like a Papa crab telling baby crab to walk straight.. his family could not change their bad eating habits, and Kenneth went on to gouge artery clogging food. Led to more surgeries and complications. The last hospital stay was last year, 30 days in ultra intensive care.

Thought he'd be more careful this time, especially when he loved his wife's grandkids so much.. you know.. the promises made.. want to see them grow...

Kenneth once again, chose foods that threatened his heart.

Too young to die. But he was no longer 16 and knew what he was doing :(

Jaye and Kel, our hearts and prayers are with you, and with Kenneth's family. I know how hard it is to change even when we know things are bad for us.....it took me 25 years to quit smoking even though I knew it was bad for me, and I still fight the food battle every day...sometimes the bad food wins, sometimes I win....

You and Kel get some rest and take care of yourselves.....at least we all know Kenneth is in a good place now.

Glad you are finding the pasta maker. I have started an attempt at a small baby figure tonight. We will see how it turns out. I will be so glad when Dusty is ready to do a class.... I really need help when it comes to People figures.

Well the crud was not as bad this time as the others... I still have some coughing but it is better... Had a nice quite weekend and only one son was home to drive me nuts... I worked with my plants most of the weekend trying to plant new ones and get things ready to ship plants to other people...
Wanted to ask what is wrong or was wrong with Mocha? I have to run to the post office now and don't have an address for the lady so I am hoping she gets on soon as I don't want to go out later...

Things are getting better.. Th eantibiotics kicked the sinus and tooth problem so Im back to trying to get things done.. I just listed all my potted plants on my growers board and am hoping to sell ut so I can get the money issue under control.. I figure I an always start fresh with cuttings this spring and be ight back to normal after we get things organized..
Max is working crazy hours which stinks because when he is home he is sleeping but it gets the billes paid so I cant complain.. 70 hours last week..

Susan Mocha has some kind of illness.. Cant remember the name of it but she is on the mends..

Jaye, So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and Kel and Kenneth's family.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers everyone for us. Mom got moved to a regular room yesterday. Not private, but the girl with her seems nice enough.

They were going to start her on nutrition in the IV last night, but I just talked with her nurse and they're holding off on that until tonight. They're very pleased with her progress. She still has the oxygen tubes in her nose and she asked them to cut back on the morphine yesterday. Said she saw a big bug on the ceiling and knew it wasn't really there. We were there from 12:45 until 5:00 yesterday and she didn't have any pain meds while we were there.

Bill's Aunt died and her funeral is today in Adams County, so I won't make it to the hospital today. Dad said he could get there fine by himself. I don't think he'll stay until after dark. He says he doesn't have any trouble driving at night, but after he got lost on the way to the hospital, I think he just might be a little afraid. He said I know I don't have alzheimers, but I surely could not get my bearings or follow directions trying to get to MVH for her surgery. Me thinks he just had too much on his mind!!!!!!

Doing pretty good for an old lady.. LOL I told my son again this weekend under no reason is he to come home when he is sick... I told him I got his crap again and it is a good thing it was me and not his GM.. She has enough to deal with without getting sick again... I told him his brothers all live near so if he wanted to come home sick go to there house and not ours... He did not like that but to bad...
I still have some crud in my chest but other then that pretty good... Had a nice slow weekend and repotted some plants that were sent and play with my plants most of the time... I have to go to the post office now and then come home and clean up... house looks a mess...LOL Ok will be back later to check in and I hope Mocha feels better... Wonder what is was that my be able to pass to her son...

Morning ladies... I was out early this morning starting the annual compost bin clean out... by myself. My help didn't show up, and my son went to "somewhere" to buy a bull this weekend. Mike wasn't home, and Don worked too many hours on Saturday... so, it didn't get done. I thought my helper could help me do that today... but he's not here (yet). Gonna be too beautiful of a day to not get it started today... and it has to be done before I can do the next phase of clean up on the yard so I can shred all the pine needles and cones to add to the bin.

No big news here... we live such a boring life. We don't even have anything blooming yet... that would be exciting enough for me.

Ok, break time is over... back to the bin.

Oh ok... They can go to a child but that is very rare as long as he/she washes there hands allot... I work in crap all the time and I have never gotten them... Better not talk to soon....
I have a problem... I am in a swap and it is for where we live... Well I got one thing that to me says it all but I don't have a clue on what else to add to this package... Any suggestions? Also could someone tell me what the name of that clay that people on here make things out of?

Morning All,

It started raining early Sunday morning, all day long and into the night and still off and on this am. In the picture you can see the creek is pretty close to joining my fish pond.

Today was my first work out at Curves. I'm going to enjoy this, and promise myself to stick it out for the whole year. Wal-Mart already has bathing suits out and I was checking them out,lol No bikini though!!!

Then I came home got in the hot tub and soaked for about 1/2 hour, lol. We'll see how I am in the am, lol. Gotta get busy do some housework, then it's crafting time hee hee. TTYL ^_^

Susan-why do you need ot send more than the 1 thing??

Susan, what about some little knick knack things that represent where you live,the state flower seeds, maybe pix of the birds, just some suggestions. The clays are Sculpy or Polymer, molding clays.

Oh I don't need to send but wanted to... Our town is known for Tobacco and I don't think I want to send that to anyone... Most of the time I am on the ball and know what to send but this one has me stumped... I will take a picture later of what I have and show you Fairy...LOL...

Susan, send something telling about the tabacco plant and maybe some pix you don't have to send tabacco. But then some nice pipe tabacco might be nice. I love the smell of Cherry pipe tabacco, told Rick to get rid of cigars and smoke a pipe.

Susan I second Cindys idea.. I love the smell of a pipe but hate cigars.. Max only smokes them outside from time to time and when he tries to quit or when Im trying becaus ethen there is no smoking inside.. Have cut back quite a bit but I have to be honest Im not ready.. Come April Im done .. Cant afford them when they go up.. heck really cant afford them now..

Taking a breather now. Susan, the crud can really get you down--think I finally have mine finished. Still congested but so much better. Take care of yourself--we needs you. BTW, the way thank you for the lovely gift. Unfortunately the vases/glasses were broken but the ladybug is warming in the sun as I type. Taking good care of the sunflower so maybe I will get a bloom. Sure hope so!! That was such a sweet surprise.

You have to clean house, you have to clean house--to funny Debra!!! I just rented a bulldozer to just shovel mine out. Time if passing quickly now isn't it. Don't over do it and try very hard to enjoy all the wonderful experiences that come with your daughter's wedding. Beautiful quilt!! Fantastic job.

Jaye, that is indeed sad about Kel's cousin. Unfortunately there are way to many who do that--doesn't make us feel any better but sure rushed the end. You both are in my thoughts and prayers. Did you get my message about the Quilt Fest? When will you and Kel arrive?

Linda Kay ,Mocha is in our den we don't have a basement.

Susan,i bought Mocha from some people and at the time don't know she was sick until it was too late.I took her to the vet the next day and found out she had Coccidia.Well they put her on some Meds for that.She doesn't have that know more.Last week i took her to my vet and found out she has Tapeworms,that the other vet could not detect.Well he dewormed her again,gave her some meds for the worms and started her over on her shots.The only way you can get the worms if you don;t wash your hands and stick them in your mouth.I don't let my son around her.I put gloves on my hands and atferwards i wash my hands and arms.I have wash them so much that they are real dry and rough.She should be getting over the worms too.
