I want a Covey! They had them at Lake st garden last year. Gorgeous
What have you ordered for spring 2009 part 4
I love that weeping RB. I have some regular ones, and they're so pretty when they bloom. they really create a lot of shade, though.
Karen

It's a beautiful color combo, Jo Ann--should look very nice there. Along with the purple clem, I ordered lilac 'Little Blue Boy', and kalmia 'Remembrance'. That's it ---no more orders---well, maybe an iris or 2.
I like your color square idea.Very nice choice JoAnn. I noticed you said you had to buy it. This is an important distinction to a frivolous purchase. I also only buy plants that I really have to have. I'm sure we all do the same. No one here would ever buy on impulse right? :)
NEVER!!! :)
I am trying to be good and only buy what I need.
There is not as much space left so I have to plan carefully.
Caladiums and coleus's will fill in until perenns mature.
IMPULSE?
no lol
i thought gardening was like home decorating - after awhile you go in and replace with new?
Noe THATS an idea.
and you save the "antique's" that hold up over time
'Freshening' is necessary too.
Love the color combo with the plums.
nice choices GE... can't wait to see photos!
ahhhh yes reality.
Bluestones plants are always small but many.
I already have hostas and the fern comes from Eminence Meadows.
I haven't odered any plants for spring.....my gardens are pretty much full....unless of course I find another clematis I can't live without....then I will find room LOL
I did order seeds though for my pots. I am going to try petunia's this year from seed. I can't wait to see how they do.
Petunis should be started now---they take a really long time to grow--at least, that's my experience. I changed my kalmia order to 'Raspberry Glow'---I decided I needed a larger specimen plant.
I will be seeding my petunias in 8 sleeps.
192 hours and 22 1/2 minutes cuz I need my coffee time or I will make mistakes.
Found 2 new shrubs I want...

i would also check to see if is at lazy s&s - freight can be high from sooner.
Thanks, Didn't know who I would get it from...just had those links to show the shrubs I wanted.
wow - just got my cc statement - all the orders that i have arriving this spring hit - i know that i spoke to a few of these and they told me that the charges would hit when the order was shipped. i guess it is good to get them out of the way - still i do not like paying until it is shipped
petunias are slow growers... but once you see a flower form.. they take off
Like Bill's credit card bills!
I wish!
the amount is not to bad - i might give one of these places a call though
The country thanks you for stimulating the economy, Bill.
just doing my part -very patriotic you know
I hear music...
