Max got home this morning at 8 and we spent the day outside working in th eyard.. Lots of work to be done there but it was nice spending the time as a family playing in the dirt.> we did end up having to pull a big section of the old ratty privacy fence down when we discovered a hug bumble bee nest ** This big dumb ones***LOL) they were bouncing off the shed and all ovr the place.. Must have been 50 of them.. I think they flew off but we have more panels to come down. The chainlink behind it has slats and is 5 foot anyway so I guess it will be alittle more open for awhile..

I used coupons for the first time this evening at the grocery store and am so proud of myself I saved a whole $46... That was cool..

Trisha it really was great to get to spend the time toegther.. I was so worried about how everything in teh yard looked and she didnt care...lol Just wish the betteries owuldnt have died on her camera.. Cant wait for her next visit..

Side note.. Look what my nieghbor did..
We had to pull the old rotting fence down becaus eof the Huge Bee nest.. And y nieghbor decided some time ago that he wa sapparently going to build a rof and attatch it to th epost from our fence.. The chainlink is on the property line.. . This is the same one that stre is dead and hanging over the fence on our side.. Guess I need to write him a letter and inform him we are pulling the erst of the fence,post included and trimming up the property line on the tree.. We have to get these things taken care of as we are able and I am not having the tree fall or the bees get the kids or me..

I love baby Bok Choy, blanched, then sauteed with oyster sauce, whole!!! Yummy .. and add roasted garlic!! I'm coming over Trisha!

the plants in the trays are Miami Supreme Gardenias.. I have a love of gardenias and am now at 4 varieties Im learning to grow.. I have lots of goodies just still working on getting everything together..

Donna I think he needs to support his roof on HIS property.....sheesh, ya have to wonder about some people......My mother in law has a neighbor who does stuff like that....then he paints his house and out buildings, but leaves the sides facing my MIL unpainted......we have talked about buying the house when she is ready to move.....He Really won't like having ME for a neighbor......I wouldn't put up with some of his shennanigans.....she can't even open the blinds on her upstairs window on that side cause he will sit out there and stare at her window....the guy is really wierd....

Trisha, you might like Gai Lan, or we sometimes call it Chinese brocolli. Remove the hard stalks, blanch them and with a little sesame oil in a wok, saute them. Pour some oyster sauce, and of course add garlic.
Whenever we hit our Thai restaurants, we always ask them to sub the American brocolli with the Chines ones.

BTW LK, the little basket, I took it from the Thai restaurant. Asked the owner, and they let me have it. Aren't you lucky!
