There are a few sistahs and a niece that still are waiting for their gifts. Bless them for being so patient. But it will be worth it.. as Maid M. would famously say, "You can't hurry perfection".

I love that Mathotiana, the color is so rich. Even though they don't have any scent, they are still so beautiful.
Talked to my ex.. and he said he'll get the local nurseryman to propogate the pink one I left behind.

How many aprons are trying to sew at one time?

Lolol!! One at a time!! I like to do reversible aprons. But when I'm using twill fabric, which is thicker, than I just do a simple one sided.
Right now I'm committed to finish a few for a good friend who has a Chinese restaurant. Kel loves the trade.. he gets his General Tso's Chicken, some dumplings and roast pork for the aprons.

As long as it's not too difficult Cody. She's just tired of ugly looking aprons.

Jaye, today is the 9th day of this crap. I didn't cramp after lunch or Chinese Buffet dinner so maybe it's finally letting go. If not I'm going to a stomach and intestine dr.

California Wal Marts are horrible for some reason, in Ca I wouldn't shop there, just Target. They're not like the ones back here at all.

I had the best shopping trip ever! I went to JC Penney in West Little Rock to get Dave's crock pot and ended up buying his crock pot, 3 pairs of slacks for me, a new purse, and a wallet for $100.00! Then I had to buy gas, every station I drove by was $1.80, $1.85, so I decided I would just drive back to Benton and get it at Wal Mart since I had to go grocery shopping anyway, $1.65! I should have went to the horse races in Hot Springs, I bet I would've won some money.

My evening has gone pretty well….Mom stayed home but I don’t think she got any rest….sounds like she redecorated her walls…don’t know what I am going to do with her!!
I just hurt for Laura, she is so scuffed up and her eye all puffed up…..and she isn’t going to have the two older kids any longer…they are going to stay with their dad and stepmom and will visit their mom on weekends…..so that income is gone ….sure hope they find out something on the house soon.

I love Camellias but they are so beautiful until our rain hits them….then not so pretty any more.

Crissy hope you are getting over this ailment….doesn’t sound like fun…

What a beautiful flower that is... I love the color.... Well my niece called last night and her and her family are coming her today for a visit so I have to clean the house... Not really clean more like pick things up and make neater... Her dad passed away in the summer and she is having a hard time of it with her one sister the evil one. Dawn has always been the daughter I never had so she needs a shoulder and it is always here.. LOL
I am going to have to have some time to play with my plants as they really need it... Hubby wanted me to go golfing with him again today but yesterday almost killed my body so no thanks...LOL Ok I am going to play with plants and clean up the area they are in as that is my dinning room area... I am so very lucky to have a husband who loves my flowers ....I did promised him after the last shelving unit came that no more would come... I always hate to break a promise...LOL

Morning everyone! It's so pretty outside and I have nothing to do, it's still too early in the season and we did about everything yesterday. Dave's sleeping, this 3rd shift is really getting me down, I'm very thankful he has a job because I know how hard those are to come by right now, and there's no way we could live on my measly $10.00 an hour when I should be making at least $20.00 an hour, that's got me down too. OK! I'm thinking too much!

Tiga went outside this morning and the squirrels scared her, she came running back to me as fast as she could! Hilarious!

Trisha I think I am getting over it, I'm better today! Woo Hoo time to Party!! LOL

Camellias are really pretty but from my experience with 10 different types of them they are kinda difficult, I won't plant any. The ones I had were all my grandmothers. They don't like sun at all, they have very delicate blossoms and bloom in the winter so if it rains/snows/or any other type of moisture on the blooms they turn brown, and if you pick some to put in a vase they will probably fall apart while you are carrying them. Just my experience. If someone wants to grow them for me, that would be great LOL!

Crissyr,the flower that i posted on their yesterday.I just pick them yesterday at my grandmaw next door and they are beatuiful.The winter doesn't affect ours because it doesn't never snow but ever once in a blue moon.

Morning everyone. Love the camellias!!! I had to leave a huge Pink Perfection in Gainesville that really was a bloomer. Have another here but hasn't gotten to the size of the other but is provding some nice flowers. Plan to add some more as time passes.

I do hope Laura is doing ok from her fall. That is no fun. Take good care of her Trisha.

Waving to all--need to move about today to get my energy back. Slowly at first but at least get moving.

Ladies, I want you to know the manager of our W*M called me yesterday afternoon about my call to Bentonville! He apologised for my inconvience and offered to have assoc. do my shopping for me, or for someone to push me around in a manual wheelchair to shop! Of course, I don't want that, I like to do my own shopping! But at least, I got their attention!

Cody what forum does camillias fall under now? You could always start a thread for the subject. I'm sure there's enough interest to post on a thread.. I have two camillias called 'Yule Tide'. I love them.

Now I'm like Marion, I need to get to moving so I can have some energy today. Need to work on baby blankets.

Oh so happy that my niece Dawn and her family are coming for dinner now... YEAH... I have not got to see them much and this is a great day... It is almost 70 outside here today... Last week we were in the teens now look at us... Cold season all the time here....LOL

Hi Girls...been busy working in the beds weeding and pruning a few things and at the sewing machine making some muslin towels while son in law to be is in Houston til Monday ....so my back room is free for me to play in LOL
