Does your hospital have electronic medical records yet, Kass?
Which do you own or use??
The difference between Phelps and these guys: They cheated at their sport. Phelps only did stuff that would diminish his ability. This should be a big deal.
I will miss Yankee Stadium too.
I agree.
I don't want to know about the dimise of the old stadiums. The last time I saw the Mariners it was at the King Dome (which had a kick butt bourbon bar across the street BTW). I like atmosphere. The Skydome is very cool but I sorta miss the wind factor at The Mistake by the Lake Park.

My Bic lighter is on.
lighting mine up too!
The only stadium where I have gone to games which is still there is Wrigley Field & that includes Milwaukee county Stadium, my home grounds. The park where the minor league Brewers played is now a highway.
Bummer. I do like the Ebbets Field aspect of the new Mets home.
The Mets are turning into Bums?
The last couple of years they have been.
Shame Shame Victor. Those are your boys. Well at least we still have Wrigley Field and Fenway.
Too true dnut! I'll never understand why they are replacing Yankee Stadium next door to Yankee Stadium.
Camden is a positive example. Remember all the new, symmetrical ball barks void of any character built in the 70s? I don't mind seeing them go.

Oh! I hate when the ball barks.
:)
I have not been in the new Baltimore stadium, but the upper deck in the old one had quite a steep pitch to it. I felt like I was going to fall out even sitting in my seat. We would visit my aunt in Baltimore, but she is no longer living.
I've heard nothing but good things about it.
Have been to Fenway once---some friends talked us into it----couldn't believe how small it was---the Municipal Stadium where our HS had its footballs games was larger! Or so it seemed because we were so packed in! Then there was the subway---don't get me started! D-nut---loved the song!
As a life-long Yankee fan, let me be the first to say that Fenway is fantastic!
I am totally biased but I love Fenway. I am so glad they decided to redo and not take it down. Love the Green Monster and the triangle and the Pesky pole. Sorry I have never ever been a Yankee fan. Big shock that. Would love to try the monster seats one day. Dnut I just adore your songs. Doing wave with bic blazing. :)
I was fortunate enough to go to Yankee and Shea but I still dream of going to Fenway. Mostly I'm so excited that Ken G Jr is back so I will see him with the Mariners against the Sox this summer. I will try to view Safeco Field with an open mind.
there is a boston ivy that they call fenway at rarefind
LOL I almost bought it just to have it wha, but then I can get all the english ivy I want from my mom for free so I thought that might be a bit silly.
I've seen it at the BG in DC - it's very nice.
Boston ivy drops its leaves in the fall & English ivy does not.
And Boston ivy is gorgeous in spring and fall.
It turnsreally red. It was on our house in WI when I was growing up & when we sold it the bankers made it , be removed not knowing the difference (it will ruin the brick). It never did in the almost 25 yrs the family grew it.
There was a brick house in the neighbourhood when I was a seedling in Ontario smothered in Boston Ivy. My parents still keep in touch with the owners and their house is still smothered and just fine so I'm with you on that irisMA.
Yes - that is a misconception about it.
The old Yankee Stadium is also great. Lots of charecter. Monument park. History and ghosts.
You do have to clips it off screens & shutters. I've never asked what type of ivy is at Wrigley field.
Wrigley ivy I'm sure.
It exudes a compound that prevents World Series victories.
i think the special strain of boston ivy from fenway was a result a one of the famous drunkin nights from the Babe - when he was still with the red sox before he went to the dark side.

My neighbor across the road bought his house from his Grandma, who was a good friend and an avid gardener. Last summer Dave said to me he had to get rid of all the poison ivy on the trees---I looked---it was English ivy. Grandma must have been rolling her eyes in heaven.
That was a very sad day wha.
