Was the wind blowing North? I've always wanted one of those. (sorry..just couldn't resist!)
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 39
those darn bunnys and squirrel cant they just leave plants where they are isnt bad enough to snack on them but to steal them you need to call the police on them lol
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you misunderstood...I cut a hole in the bottom of 2 pots and shoved it into the ground to surround the new tree, I think the tree is still there but the wind ripped the pots right out of the ground.
LOL Jen....SORRY! I'm glad you didn't lose your Crepe....and I won't look for it! hee hee he
Can it get ant windier? In the tone of Chandlers voice.
Well welcome Pyro! Great to have another New Jerseyite.
And I can so hear Chandler's voice
Hi Pyro 12 and Dredly. Saylorsburg is near WindGap where I grew up for a few years in the 50's.
Currently 51 and also WINDY.
Yup, I live about 10 - 15 mins north of Wind Gap... its really living up to its name today!
very calm in my area but wet and raining lost power from 7pm till 12:30 am and then it was on and off till 4 am when it finally stayed on, my daughter was out with a friend and had ice cream she lactose intolarent well in the dark with candles for light she was pucking for an hour I think she learned her lesson lol but it made for a bad night all around
Just rain all day here, highs in the mid to upper 30"s.
Welcome Dredly and pyro. Nice to hear new voices, even if they are Chandler's.
Had good news from the doc, lowered my insuline.
The art pickup was nerve wracking.
These people dont know JACK about handling framed work.
The framing costs tons. The husband took the pinting out to the Pilot. It fit but on the way he let it hit the floor once and then the concrete garage steps.
AND they dont insure their artists work.
Dont know how long I will be with them.
hello Dredly & fellow NJite Pyro!!!
Still windy. 36. Feels WAY colder.
26* going for 30's dusting of snow last night
it's 39 now... and the wind is still gusting ... going up to 41
I will keep my little story short and try not to be disgusting... my yorkie Lily is in heat... earlier she had a #2 problem and i had to give her a bath... the power went out here at 12 last night... at 1:30 I hear Lily running all over the house (trying to get her diaper off).... just knowing what coming up I grab a bunch of flash lights and towels... and had to give her a bath IN THE DARK ... glad I was off today anyway... and figures the power came back on at 2:00

Ugh - not a nice night, Allison. Get some rest. 38 and still very windy.
feels colder here... that wind is still bad... but not as bad as yesterday
It's still very windy here, but at least I could get the storm door open to let the dogs out---yesterday the wind fought me for it---we had rain all afternoon & evening--my son had snow, 2 towns to the north of us. If it's above freezing, I'm happy!
it is 35 here and not as windy - there was a lot of melting yesterday!
Never got the big wind that was predicted yesterday. Cooler today, overcast, 35 degrees and wind out of NW at about 12mph. Patti
On my enclosed porch right now it's 84 with nice humidity!
I could use that right now... hopefully someday I can have something like that
Do you have a south facing porch? Randy can do it with no problem.
I only have one usable south facing window... no porches though
I used to temper my cold frame from the basement, as it was built against the house and I could simply leave the basement window open. On the south side (backyard) of the house.
Maybe you could build a small cold frame around one of the basement windows?
I used a tiny, portable desk fan on low to direct the airflow out to the cold frame. Which was great on sunny days, too, as it kept things from frying.
High winds--the 17 turkeys were back this morning so they could be counted. Bless their hearts--not what I say when gardens are available for dustbaths.
Victor - does Randy know you are nominating him??
if we had the means Randy would do anything to get some of these plants out of the house... just not happening at this time
wish I had some wood so cold this winter for so long we are now out of wood hoping to be to cut down a couple of dead ones this week end which would last a couple of weeks
Down to 30. Feels much colder with the wind.
currently 42 and not windy.
Very nice shot, Mona.
thank you
Beautiful, Mona! Love the warm and cold contrasting colors!
