Today's Weather in Your Garden - 39
house feels cold this morning.. 24 now going up to 40... and partly cloudy
Happy Valentines Day!
Sounds like our weather, Sherrie---I walked with the pointer yesterday, all bundled up---hope I can get out again today, but I still have some house cleaning to do---my fav sport---NOT!
28 with bright clouds. Happy Valentines Day to all!
36 and sunny now (16 when the early bird--not me-- got up). suggested my sweetie treat me to a bouquet of iris, still in the bud, we saw at the grocery yesterday. ($6.99; can't go wrong there!) so am enjoying their deep blue against the lighter blue of our dining room wall today.
Lucky you!
Mine does not participate in what he considers "manufactured holidays", so I indulge myself with a trip to the nursery in March for a belated valentine treat.
Wonder what I'll get myself this year?
Mine neither, Katye. LOL. I'd much rather something be spur of the moment. However, that being said, he did come home this morning with some flowers from the store, that he cut and put in vases for mom and me.
Currently 39. Doesn't feel too bad out. I did a little cleaning of the deck.
36° and the clouds are messing with the sun's ability to maintain continual supply of rays on my slice of earth.
Sunspot on sofa was quickly occupied by my Ridgeback - she lives for the sun and I really appreciate her feeling that way!
It is dry - well, until this afternoon. That's typical for this area. Just when you get some sun, the clouds get fickle...
It is February, so I must not complain. We could be looking at that white stuff like many of you.
OK - outside to poop-scoop. At least i'll be able to see it before i step in it!
Katye sounds like mine even though v-day isn't a manufactured one.... only the guys think it is...
but it would be nice to get spur of the moment gifts but I think since the majority of women don't get that v-day should force the guys hand, one would think anyway. Still waiting to see if I get anything after yesterday's fiasco.
Would have been nice if I gave my weather...
cloudy and 38
38 here--more snow melt, wish it was faster enen though mud will result.
my property is mostly rock so the snow melts and gives me a nice pond at the lowest part of the property so the ducks have a place to swim when they come by lol
the pond is usually gone by the end of july and then returns at the end of september been thinking of lining it with membrane so I can have it year round would make a great skating rink for the kids
81 here; our a/c is on. My lettuces are all wilting from the heat. (I know..."Shut up!")
do you have a sun burn?
TURN IT OFF I have been cold for 5 months give me 80 I want to roast and sweat and get dirty in the fresh soil yes yes
I dont get sunburned I just get darker everyday till I am a dark golden bronze love it cant wait

You poof a lot, Sherrie!
It was 35 & sunny---many folks walking in the park---met a former colleague out walking her bulldog. The field I was walking in was almost free of snow around the perimeter, but starting to get wet & muddy.

25 now going up to 38
Does anyone else smell that??

Good thing this is a family site, or else you would REALLY see just how wry my sense of humor truly is!
^_^

Sunny & seasonably cold--high of 35 today, but sun felt nice when I went outside to get the papers---another good walking day.
32 and sunny; doesn't look windy, so should be good for a walk after lunch. hyacinths visible in ON; I can't stand it! I was excited to see the tops of some of my shrubs.
A few clouds .... inside the house is 90ºF, have to open windows and skylights .... ah .... crisp fresh SPRING-like air ..... mmmmmmm .... I can smell it in the air.
