I need to finish up the Vday swap and get your boxes finished Tante:) And I have some things that I wanted to do that have gotten pushed to the backburner, so I will start on those as well:)

I am a little upset-I got a PP dispute from my co-op-the person didn't contact me here on DG, instead issued a dispute-part of that $$ is already gone-I don't have her whole amount to refund to her anyway-but the way she went about it, kinda irked me-the reason given was that the co-op forum is now closed, which it isn't-I don't get it...

Stacey, yes I meant to send the original patterns. I have some already cut out and ready to be painted, plus I made copies of patterns and saved to a DVD. ^_^

OK-well thank you sooooo much!! Now to get a job so I can afford wood-I have everything else I need!!

Stacey... a paypal dispute has to be investigated... you should have to answer the dispute and you can tell them that the coop isn't closed until all the plants are in and mailed out to their recipients... which will be April. The DGer is probably thinking that since there are no more coops, that she lost her money in your coop... have you tried to dmail her?
Paypal will not refund her money if she hasn't tried to resolve the issue with you at all yet. And, because you can send them the url to your coop first page where the rules and dates are spelled out...

So you had fun trying to pose the peacock? Yea me too. The body is supposed to be glued to the tail feathers. I couldn't get them to stick.

BJ-it said since she had made the dispute after a 45 day window, it is closed anyway-and whatdya mean no more co-ops-what?????????

Did they bring them back? I know back a while ago, they did away with them... and I haven't looked since then.

You can still open new threads in that forum-I am really confuddled now???

Stacey I sooo know what you mean about the Happy, happy, happy part of your day :o) as I said before, my boss did me a great favor by letting me go when I went out on disability! LOL! I was NOT looking forward to going back to work for him! LOL! hope you enjoy your day and your lil vacation before you have to go back to work!


I get to take my daughter to get her first (and only!) tattoo today! I am NOT for any youngun getting a tattoo...especially if the tattoo will show when wearing business clothes. But DD decided long ago to get a tattoo of DGS's tiny newborn hand on her back (where it wont show!) she traced his hand the day he was born, and she will have his name in cursive for the 'palm line' on the bottom, and his date of birth inside the hand. I thought it was a really cute design, and really glad she decided to put it where it wont show. Its more for her and DGS than for show :o) I had to step in once she had the money and tell her she is ONLY allowed to have my friend do the tattoo, as he is very professional, does great work, and doesnt re-use needles! dont want her getting hep C from some dirty tattoo parlor! she's a stubborn red-head....no talking her out of the tattoo, so best I could do was get her an appt with a reputable tattoo artist! LOL!

This is same DD that put me thru 28 hours of excruciating painful labor, thought I would get my 'revenge' when she was in labor with DGS, but NO she never cried out once! grrr! so maybe she will cry out in pain at least once during tatoo! teehee!

Afternoon all!! Really didn't want to crawl out from under the covers as it was nice and toasty warm--not so outside. Well the wind isn't blowing so that is a relief.

Thanks for the birthday wish for mom Jaye. She has a blast yesterday--to cold to go out but stayed on the phone with everyone. It is so good to see her back to your normal self since she has been diagnosed with over medication and not Parkinsons!!!!! TYL.

Kim still is in with the "crud" and apparently her brother and family had/have the same. I am ready for Spring big time.

Good afternoon everyone!!! Boy I am so jealous of those of you with temps above freezing. It is 1 pm here and the temp is only 12 above zero!!!!! I spent my morning trying out a new block pattern for the spring swap and completely lost track of time. I love it when that happens. Tells me I'm having fun. Must do some housework now though. OO-Barb-it is cold here too!! But I just see it as in the summer when it is so hot for them they don't even barely go outside, we will be the ones they will be envious of:)

Maid M., overmedicated can also cause serious dementia. That happened to my late ex MIL until the pharmacist brought that up to our attention. At that time, it was SIL that was taking care of her, and she didn't pay attention to the number of 'nerve' meds prescribed. I guess the doctor was happy to be getting kickbacks from the pharmaceuticals.
BTW.. isn't Mittsy a genious for using fabric pens to add the color we want for the block. Think I'll do the same for that urrrrrrrrrrrgh 'pink'!!

Barb, Kel says do whatever makes me happy.. So, I'm following his advise today... gonna sew .. sew.. sew.. Housework will have to wait today!!!

Yep... you people up north may not even have to own an air conditioner... but us people down here could never survive a summer without one... last year, I turned mine on in April... and it stayed on till late October... I did have the windows open a while in March and September though... but (I'll say it again) we don't have good windows... they're small, and not enough of them in the main part of the house... so opening the windows sometimes makes it hotter and stuffier in my house.

Ok, was just here to catch up... back to the dreaded house cleaning. I think I found all the dust bunnies in my bedroom... but I didn't look under the bed or behind the chair... I'm sure I have enough to grow gardens in those spots. I also think at some point in the next couple weeks I'm going to have to move the dressers out of the closet and clean under them... it looks like I've got my very own spider breeding farm going on under there... wonder if we can get an ag exemption for that?

Seems to be a recurring theme.....DH suggested I spend a bit less time on the computer and crafts and a little more on.....uugh....housework............have to admit it could use a little attention.....maybe when it's warmer........

I've just had to get used to the fact that the dust bunnies will ALWAYS be there....cause I refuse to vaccuum daily! teehee!

Trisha, you could just enable voice and not engage the camera. Years ago, we were pretty active on a jazz chat. We played music, but didn't use the webcam as that will just 'overload' the connection speed :( I did have fun, and Lisa2, you are soooo generous with your time and expertise. Couldn't wait for someone to run a live sculpting class!

Well, it has been decided-DH is Superman!!LOL He went to take my car to work today and pulled the handle right off it!!LOL So, $250 later, I ordered the part and will get it put back on at the dealership next week:(
