Gottcha Marion! Now I'm on a roll!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

If you understood my description then you are truly one amazing person. But I knew that already!!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Maid M... tell your Kim we hope she'd soon get over whatever it is she's having :( Chicken soup and extra vitamin C!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

There's alot about these pattern instructions where some things are a given, like nap. I didn't know that though so I had to ask. The link Jaye gave and your explaination was identical and easy to understand, Marion. Another tricky one is "right side". I had to read that a couple of times then it sunk in. Now all this folding of the material and doubling of the material is really confusing. I'll just have to lay the fabric out on my dinner table and go slow until it makes sence.

Yes, tell Kim we said take it easy!

( Kim) Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I just typed so much and lost it I hate when that happen will

OH MY MY HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHY

Hugs
Kim

Check it THRICE... before cutting!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I just came back up from the quilt room and thought i'd pop in. Thank you ALL so much for making me so welcome. I've had a lot of fun on the quilting/sewing thread and have really enjoyed you all here.
Got the last of twelve BOM squares done and a new one for this year. I love it when I feel like I accomplished something.
Happy birthday to all today. I'm sure I'll get to "know you" after a while.
Hugs - Barb

Hey Marion,I think they are the dark.

Jaye, next time you go to town get Kel some Breath right strips. My hubby does the same thing that is why i make he stay on his side.I don't like no snoring in my ears.

Coushatta, LA

Welcome to the room Barb.

Coushatta, LA

I will check in tonight.I have to go and get my son a hair cut.SO POOF I'M OUT OF HERE.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Good to know about the dark Cody. Geez all this talk about snoring hubbys--I would love to hear mine snore again. Just a moody day today because I am tired.

Thanks Jaye and Deborah, I will tell Kim when she wakes up. I didn't wake up very much when she told me good bye this morning or I might have made her just stay home. I lover her dearly but she looks tough!! Still feverish, glassy eyes and all. I do not have time for this to visit me so I am trying to keep a clear path.

Barb, just hang with us eventually you will put us all together. I was going to sew but between the phone and emails from vendors I haven't made it to the machine yet. Maybe a little later.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Auntie M-since I am now jobless, while I have the time the $$ is the issue!!LOL I guess I could hitchhike down there?? Naw-some crazy old perv would snatch me up, never to be heard form again....

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Marion, the one thing I've learned from teaching at the med center is ....

WASH YOUR HANDS - WASH YOUR HANDS - WASH YOUR HANDS

It makes a HUGE difference in whether people catch colds, etc. If everyone washed their hands thoroughly with soap and water several times a day there would not be near the number of colds and flus passed around. And disinfect everything they touch - door knobs, cabinet knobs, toilet handles, water faucet handles, etc. I've become a believer - and always wash my hands after going to the grocery store, bank, shopping, etc. I haven't had a bad cold or flu in 2-3 years. (my hands are dry, but that's another story)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I do that--Kim says I am paranoid about washing my hands but it does help.

Going to miss you in the Spring Block swap but I really do understand. I am only going through a tiny fraction of what you must be dealing with--besides if I haven't learned something after 18 years then I deserve to be "snowed" under. Take care of yourself!!

Waving to all. Tink, to bad as it is time for our annual trip. Do I need to look for something for you--no! not standing under the huge Stitch again for a picture. I learned about getting wet the last time.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Wouldn't want to be in your position either, Marion. Lots of responsibility! But you appear to have a firm grasp on your managerial duties. Bet you run a tight ship. And a great festival!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh thank you dear but I really don't know about that. It takes 20 other people to pull this thing off---I just keep the paperwork sorted and put it together. They do the actual hard work. 21 organizing but about 1600 plus volunteers over the 4 days--2 for set up and 23 actual show. Yes, that many when you consider the volunteers who staff all the booths or work traffic control.

Looky what came from the brown man today! I was so surprised to see what jaye has made.
I believe this is for the sistah 2009 swap, but if I am wrong, let me know so I can post it where it belongs.
Jaye thank you so much, it is just wonderful. The basket has a homemade lining to match the dolls dress. And the doll is so beautiful, looks at her lovely curls!
Then there are some lovely tins of candles, that all smell great. And the bottle of salsa. Can't wait to try that with something. Jaye please tell me what you eat it with. On chips, or on prepared food dishes?
Then there are 2 boxes of Mon Cherie chocolate covered cherries from France! Don't know how you found them, but they are wonderful. They are filled with liquor! MMMMMM.
Jaye I want to thank you from the bottom of myheart, and someday, will give you a big HUG in person!
THANK YOU very much. I love every piece of it!
Linda Kay

Lolol!!
LK, that's for the 7 item swap!! You had mentioned you love those Mon Cheris, so I asked my sister who lives in France to send them down for you. I don't care for them...and now I know a whole bunch of sistahs and niece love them!!!
Then on the Likes and Dislikes thread, you wrote you like Chinese food, so I want you to try that bottle of sweet hot sauce which is good for dipping fried chicken, or even baste a chicken with it, before baking!
Well, my noisemaker home, off to get something to eat. Will be back later.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I stand corrected, this is for the 7 item swap, I will re post it over there.

Lancaster, OH(Zone 6a)

Marion I think you are under estimating the value of keeping that paperwork done.. lol Everyone I know except me hates to do anything that envolves paperwork. It takes paience and multi tasking that many people just dont do with ease.. Give yourself a pat on the back .. you deserve it.. I just hope I can come that way for the festival..

Wash, wash wash yes I agree.. I was always in the sink washing my hands and everything around me because of germs. I still got sick from time to time with those who were to sick to work but could get a haircut with a fever and almost gagging in the chair.. Even now that Im not in the shop I still always wash my hans all the time..

Know I missed a few things and will try to catch up in a bit.> Tristen is on a sugar high running in circles ..lol She says THANK YOUUUUU for her Bday wishes.. And I figured I would post a few pictures of her while shes babbling... So hard to belive she is 7 already... sigh
