Cajun2 I believe you were bringing me some of your Mexican herb. It wasn't on your newly posted list.
Charlene
Trying to catch up...Sandy, I've got you down for those. Do you have any more Wild Poinsettia and the fig cuttings?
LindaTX I sure do. I hope to have rooted figs but not sure as I usually do them in the fall but I am trying. And I sure have wild poinsettia. Got you down for 2 figs rooted I hope if not just cuttings and wild poinsettia.
Thanks everyone,
Sandy
Cajun2 I have your name on a night blooming jasmin.
Charlene, I got you down for the Mexican Herb. Sorry I missed it on the update.
Silverfluter, what can I bring you?

Cajun, I could use some more thai basil. I have some that keeps coming back, but it hasn't spread or reseeded. Thanks.
Sounds good. Got you down, Silver!
:)
Hi Cajun2 - how about the Thai Basil....I'd like some of that please! Got you down for the Agapanthus! Thanks! Lee
cajun...will mark you down for the maypop.
I haven't started a trades list yet, we still need to see what we have that survived winter
( I was a bad plant dad and didn't get around to building a greenhouse this year). I'm goint to try to get some cuttings and seeds going this weekend and will post a list later. But Karla wanted me to ask if anyone, by chance, has any white Toad Lilies? We got some purple ones at the last CS Roundup (from whom I can't begin to remember) and they are beautiful little flowers. I'm fairly sure I can get some Plumeria seeds started, probably some Summer Poinsettias, as well as Texas Star Hibiscus (red). I'm going to try to root some Sport Hibiscus, Variegated Tapioca, Noid Brugs, and some Party Time cuttings. I'll get back to y'all soon as I get a grip on reality- I mean- on my plant list. Jim
Got you down for the Thai Basil, Willis.
blue_eyes (kim), thank you for trading your Maypop! for my ______ ?????
Jim, I have Toad Lilies, but I'm not sure of their color now. I can't seem to find my pictures either. But I want to say their light colored with speckles--just don't think they're white.
BTW, All... I updated my trade list tonight. I'd forgotten to add the airplane plants on there. And I think I may have several Plumbago for trade. Has anyone tried transplanting those? I didn't realize I'd have so many plants pop up from them -yea! I meant to add Oak Trees to my 'haves' too, but I swear to you--as long as I've lived in the south I'm ashamed to admit I don't know the names of them all. I'll bring them and you guys can decide if you want them. And if they do well, I may have a few maples or pines. We'll see.
Was someone asking about toad lilies? I am digging some up before they eat my hydrangea, and should have several. I will have the regular tricyrtis hirta, white with purple flecks, and a couple of the blue ones, Blue Wonder.
The only problem is that I am still not sure I can make this RU, and I may not know until much closer to the time. But if I can make it, I'll be glad to bring some.
Cajun2 and pbtxlady- we'd appreciate any of them. Most of what we have in our jungle is tropicals, and the toad lilies look like little orchids so they fit perfectly. We got ours last RU and just figured what we got, we got. Wow, were we surprised at the intricate blooms! I'll be willing to trade anything we may have (once I figure out what we DO have) Talk to y'all later. Jim
LynnH_Tx - may I have some of your Montbretia bulbs? Are they mixed colors? Thanks a bunch! Lee
The Montbretia (crocosmia) are all the same color - reddish orange - they were here when I moved in 15+ years ago and are all from the original little plot. I'll write you down - I have about 10 pots of them started, but will bring the bulbs as well.
Thank you so much! I hope I have something you might like...PLMK
if you do! Lee
Dollie,
Can I get Vigna Leutoia Vineand a Job's Tears?
Thanks,
Trishann
Cajun2 - may I add a request for - Mex. herb, Beaver Tail Cactus and some Coral Vine seeds?
I believe I'll be able to collect some Common Mullein seed by then, there's one growing on our property. I love its beautiful yellow flower spike. I also have some old fashion white iris...that I'll be glad to bring for you. Thank you, Ma'am! Lee
Jim, I'll make sure I bring you at least two of the Toad Lilies--not sure how many will be in that patch--they're just poking their little heads up ;-) I'll bring what I can though! And I also collected seeds from last year so I'll give you some of those too.
Lee... yea!!! I'm excited to get some Mullein seeds! I LOVED mine and really miss it in the garden. Really tickled to get some of your Iris too. Thanks!
Also I need to thin out my cannas, so I need to know if I can store these bare root until the RU or do I need to pot them up?
I also figured out what cannas I have to share, but since I haven't dug them up yet, I don't know how many of each.
Black Knight
Crimson Beauty
Maudie Malcom (maybe)
Richard Wallace
The President
I would love some of your groundcover. Thanks.
You got it Sandy. I think I'll put it in an aluminum baking pan. I have quite a bit. It's too much to bother with pots.
Mary Lee, could I get one rhizome of 'Black Knight' and one of 'The President'? What kinds of plants are you looking for this spring?
Mary Lee,...I'd like a Black Knight canna too,...if you've enough! Thanks!
Mary could I trade a phaison tropicanna for a black knight?
Charlene
A lot of my plants really took a beating Friday. Glad we have another month to get everything ready for the swap! I found some peat pots in the plant shed, so I will use those to start some of the Castor Beans & maybe a few other things.
I have a LOT of those heavier black plastic pots too--anyone have any interest? I won't bring them unless I'm sure there will be takers.
I'll see what else is out there. I really do need to go thru all that and organize it better. No telling what I might bring! ha!
Mary Lee, Can I get a
Black Knight
Maudie Malcom
The President
Trishann
Cajun2 depending on how many pots you have I would like some. I want to start things this fall from cuttings and hopefully one day be able to have a lot more to share. I would also love any 3 or 4 or even 6" pots anyone has. But again I need to know how many to be able to say if I can transport them as I am not sure if I am riding or driving. I started cutting water and coke bottles down (20 oz) and I am using them for plants I am bringing. I am now an avid (hehe) recycler. Actually a penny pincher is more like it but recycler looks better. Wish I would have done more of the water bottles from the hurricane like this.
I will add a few more plants in time as they are recovering from transplant shock.
I've got pots too! Lots and lots of them, mostly 1 gallon and 4''. If people want them I would be glad to bring them. I also have trays.
Kim, I would love to have your big pots! I don't want to hog them all, but I can use whatever isn't taken by someone else.
Kim, I could use some trays.
Trishann
Terrific! I'll mark you all down.
:) Kim
