Spring CS roundup TRADES LIST

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

I've been catchin' up on reading the thread....didn't mean to take so long to answer! :~)

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm going crazy trying to keep up with plans and trades for three spring RU's! It may be too much fun at once.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Lee, would you mark a clematis crispa for me?

I plan on coming to this ru and will bring trades, but like Patricia, it is very confusing to have three so close. I will bring you something if you see anything on my list that is posted on the other trades.

I don't want to post a list here because I think I would go nuts! I just want to make mostly on the spot trades. That will be easier on my poor old brain. Since the one in college station is only an hour away, I will come to it unless something happens to prevent it. I really want to see everyone there that will not be coming to the other RUs.

Charlene

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Will be glad to, Charlene!

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

I know what you mean. I'm only going to two plant swaps and I'm having trouble keeping up with it all. I can't imagine three!

Iola, TX(Zone 8b)

Hey Kim, If you have any left I would like one each.

daylily (pictured above)
passionvine volunteers
black and blue salvia

Trishann

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

I will mark them down for you!

DeRidder, LA(Zone 9a)

Frostweed, If you have to spare any more Eve's necklace & Mexican Plum may I be tagged? Please check out my trade list.

Linda, I have a Chinese Elm Tree for you, if you want it. Should do good in your area. PLMK and I'll tag it for you. Could I be tagged for the Family Jewels & Wh. Veined Dutchman's Pipe?

BlueEyes, may I get the passionvine & Wh. crinum?

Aswanoi, going now to tag those plants for you.

WillisTXGarden, If you started seed of your Clematis Crispa I'd love a seedling.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello Cannagirl, don't forget that I am not coming to the CS swap, I am sending the plant for Linda with Pat, I really don't want to overload her, so I won't say yes unless it is o.k. with her.
We shall see, sometimes sending plants back and forth with other people can be a problem.
Please don't take me wrong, we just don't want to be a burden.
Are you coming to the East Texas swap?
Josephine.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Josephine, I could take the plants for you to the CS swap. I will be attending all three swaps. I have a truck, so room isn't a problem.
Charlene

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, but don't forget you will have to keep track of them, keep them watered and all that good stuff, and give them to the right person, are you sure you want to take on so much?

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I have to water plants anyway. I won't have a problem as long as they are well tagged. I already have one table with nothing on it but trades going to the RU's. So, it won't be a big deal if you wish to make the trades, I will accommadate them for anyone that needs it.

If it is marked, it shouldn't get mixed up with anything and I have my RU's trades separated from each other already. I would prefer not to take large pots due to the handling, but I could do it if it is really needed. There is always someone around to lend a hand for the heavy things.

I might as well be useful for something LOL!

Charlene

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Josephine, I'm also available to ferry and babysit plants between swaps. I'll have greenhouse space by then too. You and Frank helped me unload and restuff my van last fall, so you know how much it can hold. I promise I won't have anywhere close to that much to squeeze in this spring!

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

O.K. then Pat can take the Mexican Plum for Linda and pick up her plant for me.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charlene can take the Mexican Plum for Cannagirl, but no more, it can be too confusing.
Thank you both, you are real sweethearts.
Josephine.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

I suddenly have a conflict with this RU and may not make it after all. So, I'm not going to post a trades list yet. If we get to come, I will probably just bring what I can bring, and trade on the spot. If anyone sees anything on my Arlington trade list, just ask.

Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks, cannagirl.

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

Cannagirl...got behind on reading this thread. Thanks for offering the tree, but I've heard that can be problematic...but I'd like a Red Perilla! I used to have some, but something wiped them out one year...strangely enough...you'd think nothing could do that to perilla!. I'll put you down for those two plants.

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Well I'm finally getting around to figuring out what I can bring. So far this is what I have:

cactus orchid - pink - Karlae, ILJ
white -
purple fall asters - Sylvia, ILJ
pink ice plant
solid green airplane plant babies
groundcover marigold - I Love Jesus, Cajun2

cuttings from these roses: Mm. Alfred, climbing Cecile Brunner, New Dawn (climber), Don Juan (climber), Marie Pavie (shrub). Not rooted yet, but I have lots of hope.:)

Well established climber Jeanne d'Arc; I would like to trade this for another climber, probably a rambler but I haven't figured out yet what to replace it with. Possibly Champney's Pink. It needs to be a repeat bloomer, have a good scent and not be orange.

Others are:

cannas - Black Knight - ILJ, Patrob, Willis, Trishann, Charlene, and I think that's all I have
Crimsom Beauty
Maudie Malcolm (maybe) - Trishann
Richard Wallace
The President - Patrob, Trishann
candy lily seeds - Willis
alamanda cuttings rooted - Aswan, cannagirl,
night blooming jasmin cuttings rooted - Kim, Aswan, Cajun2,
plumeria seedlings (about 3 " tall right now) only 1 left- Aswan, Cannagirl, ILJ, that's all folks
Victoria phlox - Cajun2, Charlene, Patrob, ILJ
Brazilian Rock rose - ILJ
fall asters - Sylvia, ILJ
MM ee's - Patrob, ILJ
russian sage - Cajun
alstroemeria - ILJ

Pots for Pbtx and ILJ

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Cannagirl - will do my best to have one for you!

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Mary Lee,...pls tag me for some Candy Lily seeds! ThankYou! Lee

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Willis, will do.:)

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I'm going to the daylily sale here in Houston before I head to the RU... Here's the link to the thread: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/962298/

If there are any daylilies on the list that any of you want, I can try to snag them for you and you can pay me back when I get to CS. :-)

Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

silverfluter, I would love to have night blooming jasmine, a plumeria and an alamanda. Do you have a pic of your alamanda? The only thing I can find on it is a reference to it in an article about public gardens. The article said it filled an arbor, so I know it's a vine.

Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Never mind, I found it. Was misspelling it. duh

Iola, TX(Zone 8b)

Marylyn,
I would love to have these four daylilies. Think it comes out to be 21 dollars....
Thank you so much for doing this!!!

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Got it down Aswan and Kim.:)

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I'll make a list, Trishann. :-)

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Kim I would love a crinum. Thanks

DeRidder, LA(Zone 9a)

Hi Josephine! No I can't make it this year to the East Tx. RU. It's the same date as our Midsouth RU in Baton Rouge. Lol, I agree it does get confusing sending plants.....thank you for sharing & Charlene for bringing my Mexican Plum. Please LMK what I can send you back.

Linda, I'll get you tagged for the Red Perilla. I now have lots of seedlings so LMK how many you want.

Willis, Thanks!

Mary Lee, May I get tagged for Alamanda & Plumeria?

Posting more plants Monday night.

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

You're welcome, cannagirl - may I have a couple of Red Parilla seedlings, if you've enough? Thank you!

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

A couple of them would be fine for me also! Thanks.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I am so confused about the perilla. I have one that is so purple it looks black. I think that it is the perilla frutescens. How can you tell the difference between the perillas?
Charlene

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Ok guys... I know I said I probably will just pot up some plants and bring them, and make random trades. But I got to thinking that you may be able to let me know if you're interested in any of these before I pot them. I'm sorry, my Latin is a little rusty and these were not all originally mine (some were my mother-in-law's and she's had a stroke).

Red Salvia (forgive me, not sure what v.)
Blue Salvia (ditto)
Thai Basil
Agave Cactus
Bulbine
Castor Bean (plants and seeds)

This is Wedelia paludosa (thanks, Smockette!)

Bulbine - 2 in 4" pots

aswan01 - Double White Angel Trumpet and Montbretia (either plants or bulbs).

AND i have a BUNCH of seeds...
If interested, I can start some now to have the plants at the swap:

Coral Vine (Rose of Montana)
Hyacinth Bean Vine

I'm sure there are lots I'm not able to recall at the moment.
I know there are a LOT of succulents out there, including Aloe.
I'll try to take pictures of all the varieties that I can share to see if there's any interest.
Oh, I also have walking Iris.

Thanks in advance for putting up with me... I am not the same as I used to be when I gardened before... sigh.

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Cannagirl, I have you down for an alamanda and a plumeria, but how do I get it to you? I forgot to mention how many of these I have. I have only 1 plumeria seedling left.
