heavinsent, what is C.green ruffels? Can't look it up because I am not familiar with it or what C. stands for. Thanks

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

lovediggin, I think C is colocasia, but I'm not sure.

Throneofyord, will you have any of those tomatoes like you had last year. I didn't get around to saving any seed. Those were very good tomatoes.:)

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

I still have no idea what I will be able to bring, but I know my parents are wanting to put in more butterfly-attracting plants into a new bed. So if anyone has those, I'd be interested. Offhand I am sure I will have purple obedient plant, black and blue salvia, and some daylilies.

Kim

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Hmmm, which daylilies Kim?

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

I will have to go check tags, but for sure I know I have plenty of this one to dig. It rebloomed 3 times last year.

WillisTXGarden, Glad to provide LA Iris! Just the thing to put around your Tupelo!
silverfluter, I am not sure which tomato I gave you, but I should have some nice tomato plants for you!

Bob

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Yep! I'm blessed to have 2 large (40') and 1 med.(25') Black Gum/Tupelo trees on our property. The fall color is a beautiful red & with the evening sunlight filtering thru....stunning!
Thanks a bunch!

Bryan, TX

Aunt Anne, could I get tagged for yellow butterfly weed? Thanks

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks Bob. I'd like some magenta spreen too please.

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

Added a few things to my list.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Linda, could I get a start of your mountain mint, a Lindheimer's senna, and a white-veined Dutchman's pipe vine? I'll be adding more to my list as the RU gets closer.

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

Sure, Pat. But I could probably use a Little Bluestem and a Liatris if you have any left. I will have to try to restore the area around our new shed once it's done. I still don't know why construction has to wipe out all vegetation even 20 to 30 feet away from the actual building that's being put in. I have heard rumors of people who could put something like that up while leaving vegetation outside a fairly close zone intact, but we just have to make do with the plant-killing crew. If my poor in-the-way clematis survives this, it'll be a real miracle. Guy asked me today "do you want me to dig that up?"....he was trying to be nice, but everything living they touch dies. I practically cringed at the thought!

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

We just had a garage/workshop built at the back of our property. Well away from that area I had three oleanders that were just recovering from being mashed by the well drillers a year ago. The guy smoothing the area for the foundation of the garage pushed dirt, rock, and debris on top of two of the oleanders and then drove over the third. I've dug up two and potted them. The third is a goner. Akkkkkkk! I don't believe you can hide a plant from construction crews!

Linda, I have lots of little bluestem grass and will pot up several clumps for you. I should be able to dig several liatris plants as well. They are drought resistant and will come up if we ever get some rain. I'll keep my eyes open for other natives too.

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Linda,...I'd like an Ironweed & Dutchman's Pipe if you've enough, Thanks! Which clematis was in danger? Lee

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

I don't know what kind of clematis, Lee. It hasn't flowered yet...so I can't get an ID. I wanted to leave it there, thinking it might not flower if I moved it, but maybe I should have moved it after all. I'll put you down for those two!

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Linda I sure could use some Lindheimer's Ironweed, Vernonia Lindheimeri, I have some small
Eve's necklace and Mexican plum trees that i could send with Pat.
Josephine.

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

Of course, Josephine, I can give you two. I wouldn't mind having another Mexican Plum to put out by the shed. They are so nice!
I couldn't remember the correct name of the ironweed earlier, changed it to Woolly Ironweed.

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Thank you, Linda! I have more Clematis crispa (Curl Flower,Blue Jasmine) if you need one - Josephine,....would you like one? It's a Tx native.
I've got one bloomin' right now and the flower is about twice as large as it was last year....probably 'cause the root ball is bigger now.

Thanks, Josephine. But by coincidence I've got two Eve's Necklace plants in pots waiting to be planted. Such pretty little trees, love those cute seed pods. I was shocked to find out they're actually being planted in a few commercial landscapes now. I saw one at La Cantera recently, an upscale shopping center.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Blueeyes do you know which white crinum or what the bloom looks like? I love crinums and my white is the shape of the milk and wine or the ellen bou____ something.;) To hot to look it up. hehe

Trishann may I have a bird house and a windchime? I would love a red amaryllis also.

Lee I would love one of those clematis if you have an extra. It is gorgeous.

See you are getting me to drool over all these pretty things. Charlene is that cape honeysuckle in the first picture? It looks more red than my orange.

I can dig up some of it if anyone would like one. I need to add to my tradelist here on DG. I am going to mark it somehow RU's only. I have so many for postage going out and I don't want to do that anymore. I love to share but it is a killer when you want to send to everyone whom asks. I love doing things to make people smile but my back and legs do not give me a break on pain when I am digging and mailing,

I also have 3 oleanders I can get cuttings of. One is called a double yellow, there is one on my trade list I believe it is a double peach pink and I have 'Little Red" I also have to cut down my fruitless pomegranate so I am going to try to root some. It is gorgeous when it blooms but Ike pushed it over and deep into the ground. I have tried to dig it loose to maybe stand it back straight but not happening in this life time.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes Lee, I would like the Clematis crispa, thank you very much.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
O.K. Linda, how about a Smooth Sumac then?
Josephine.

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Linda.....the way I wrote my previous post...it could be read different ways. I meant I have one for you , if you'd like another....and one for Josephine and one for I LoveJesus99 as well!

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Senna bicapsularis - (Christmas Senna) can grow to a large shrub/tree and great color during late fall early-mid winter. This one was bloomin' Dec 21st

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Senna bicapsularis - (Christmas Senna) I love mine Lee. It blooms all year round. It is so pretty also. I have seedlings and seeds.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Lee, I would love to have one of your Christmas sennas! That is a beautiful bloom and at the time of year we really need to see flowers.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Sandy, I will have to look and see if I have a pic. It's just a plain white, the petals are kind of spidery.

:) Kim

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Okay, I have been trying to catch up on my reading & I am a very slow reader!
In one of these RU threads, some one was wanting Belinda's Dream!!!
Was that Arl, Jax, or CS?
Going to Palacios to see my folks Sat @ little brother's & the BD I gave him yrs ago, is as tall as his house!
Will take cuttings if there is any interest!
LMK

Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

I'm definitely interested, Smockette. How many years did it take to get that tall? Did it start as a pot plant or a cutting?

Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

cannagirl, if still available I would love some black & blue salvia, morning glory bush & split leaf philodendron.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

I don't know what it is Smockette but I want one. Please

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Pat - I have a Christmas Senna tagged for you!

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you so much, Lee!
