Good night Cody, but sweetie you are up a lot later than me...I am on my way to bed now.
Have a good night. Talk to you tomorrow.
Crissy & everyone else-When I was talking w/ corp, I used the 3 magic words-harassment, retaliation, and a hostile work environment....and after I came in today, I printed off anything I was missing for my folder of paperwork....I don't think that she thinks I am very smart as I don't have a degree (which neither does she, but seems to think she is an extremely intelligent person), but that is her stupidity for making yet another incorrect assumption....and if they let her go eventually, I don't think that she will qualify for unemployment due to being let go for harassment....
Good Morning Ladies
I just found this on the US Federal Laws site. Lunch breaks are not required by the Federal Laws... DARN
http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/workhours/breaks.htm

Stacey, dear.... I have been reading online about workplace harassment, discrimination, and all that... and it sounds like what you have there is more like what they call "Workplace Bullying" going on. There's been a lot of articles going on recently about it... seems to be spreading across the country lately. Here's a great article on things you need to do to make your case... please, be careful... there's really NO laws yet that prevent an employer from being a bully.
http://www.livescience.com/health/070329_bully_tips.html
Deborah... correct me if I'm wrong here... you're our resident HR guru.
This article also sounds just like what you've described to us here.... talks about workplace bullying from others that were going through it....
There's been a lot of studies on this.
http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/061031_office_bully.html
You're right on, BJ.
Good morning!
good morning Debra!
Debra how's the wedding plans coming? When is the big day, I forgot?
Morn'in Deborah! It's March 21st. We went to the hotel yesterday to make final decisions about the room layout for the reception. Today we try on our dresses for the last time and take them home (hopefully). We were supposed to pick them up last week but that's when I had a flat tire and couldn't get a tow. DH is addressing the invitations in the evenings - he does calligraphy. I'm getting very stressed over the invitations as they are late getting out and addressing them is going v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y. We are making final decisions about flowers. Our invitation list increased by 50% which means the cost of the food/bar will increase by 50%. And I'm running out of money. Then our dining room table explodes ..... sooooooooo .... LOL!
There are two showers this month so that will be fun. She's getting excited and that makes me very happy.
Morning All,
I slept in and when I got up Rick was on pc and just got off. He has found a fishing site sorta like this one. He was talking about a guy whose wife sent him to Wal-Mart to get a gallon of milk....he came back with about $150 in fishing lures.....if that would have been Rick, his behing would be a 150 miles down the road, lol. He has spent lots of money on fishing stuff. last year he got a loan to pay off bills and back child support, yea right. He spent about $500 on fishing stuff and never did pay off child support.
Debra, if the invitations get out before Saturday then they will be on time, 6 weeks before the wedding.
Going to be sewing Barbie clothess today and try and upholster the little sofa and wing back chair, this should be fun, lol.
Morning everyone. I can't believe I slept in th is morning. So did Dad, so we got lots of rest.
Looks like most is off and running, doing errands, or crafts.
Stacey, make sure you get all the copies of everything you can think of, but try to make it look like your not snooping either. Good luck!
LK
Morning everyone!!!!!!!!
Trisha,i keep for getting that we are in two different time zones.I stay up late so because half the time i'm not sleepy.
Good day sistahs and nieces.
Won't be on here much, will be busy running catching up with chores that were set aside.
Susan, I hope you get to feeling better. Too much mimosas, huh?
Kim, how wonderful you're there to keep an eye on her. 'Polish' her shell now and then for us ....
As competent as you are Debra, I know the wedding will turn out flawless!!! But, we can't stress enough how you must find some 'me time' now and then to re-energize yourself.
Yah BJ, ain't that sad? The plant where I worked, used to brag that it 'allows' all workers to get a 30 minutes meal break and 2 - 10 minutes rest break. Guess what? Came to find out, it was OSHA mandated because 3/4s of the workers are in high 'stress' jobs, like operating dangerous machinery.
Just disheartening to think we sometimes live in a 3rd world atmosphere :(
No matter where we work, the rule, CYA is a wise one. You've got a lot of ammunition Stacey to help you gain unemployment benifits.
Hi sister Deborah! How are you feeling after days without ciggies? Now you'll have extra spending money to get more plants!
Kel's not into fishing nor hunting Cindy. But he spends on his wood hobbies. Those tools can be costly!! Still I can't complain, as he never utter a word when I binged on fabric!!
Got your finished bw square LK! LOVE IT!!!! You are so neat!!
Cody, you must keep a regular sleep schedule. It's bad for your heart too when you get imsomnia.
To the rest of my sistahs that will report later.. a wave hello here.
Stay warm everyone, I'll be back.
Edited to correct the spellings of our 2 sistahs Deb*** Lolol.. anyway you know which is which!

Thank you all for the prayers for my DS & DSD. Megan is doing much better, gave her engagement ring back to the idiot BF and is moving home when the semester ends. She is at her normal weight and looks healthy and happy. WOAH.... ANJL.... been soooo long since we've seen you... so glad some things are working in your life... come again soon, ya hear?
Donna... just wanted to tell you... there was a lady on the news last night that had a similar problem with her mortgage that you have... she contacted the news station, and they did a segment on it... someone saw the story, she called her boss, who called someone, and an agency stepped in to help the woman catch her payments up to date... sounded like the same bank take over thing you are going through...
It was a Fox news segment called "What's bugging you"... and I just did a search for it online, and don't find it...
Hi BJ!! {{hugs}} missed you!
just had to put my garden work on hold for today ;o( got a call from sons facility that they need me to come meet with his team of docs.... hopefully all good news!

Thanks Trisha, yea i ready for warm weather too.
The second picture i have of the seedling the parent of it is Golden Queen.
Sorry can't not change it their reach my limit of edits for the day.Which i thank that sucks.
AnnMarie please post pictures of your patio after you've transplanted all the thyme. I know it will be goregous!
We want pictures of Sage's 1st rock climbing experience, Trisha!!! Might be too late to holler at her to bring the camera along!
Congrats Cody! Do you know who are the pollen donors to Golden Queen and Orange Glory? It will give us a guessing game as to what the blooms will look like!
Can't believe Ann Marie popped in!! Hi stranger! Yep, prayers still continue for you and everyone else though we've not read your post for a long long time here :D PTL He's healing you. Hang in there, a job is just secondary, but your physical and mental health comes first.
Back to cleaning up more closets.. yes I'm having fun :*(
Ann Marie, it's good to hear from you. Hope you are getting healthier and stronger each day. Will keep your son in my prayers. Don't know the situation with your DSD but sounds like she's on track.
Cody, thanks for posting your photos. It's so exciting to see something growing! Come on spring!
Cookie, how's that baby boy doing?
Judy, I'm so proud of you I could burst. Over a month now? And Deborah, you are doing great, too. Did you throw those cigs out like someone suggested? It's a big step - but your health and a fresh smelling sewing room is at the other end.
We're getting a new dining room table and chairs! Yipee! DH agreed to let me order the one we had picked out before my funds were rerouted to the wedding. The chairs are in stock but the table will take 6-8 weeks. We will use the new chairs around a folding table hidden under a nice table cloth. lol!
Jaye, that 'me' time you're referring to is my quilting class on Friday mornings from 10am to 2pm.
OMG, Stacey. Your work environment is just horrible. There's no way in h#ll would I put up with that. I'm mad and it's not even happening to me. OMG! Straight up harrassment and she should lose her job.
I'll be back. Have to doctor hubbies leg. He's been waiting.
No Jaye,i won't know i guess until they bloom to see what they will look like.Go to the watchdogs and click on s and then click on seedman.com.You will see what Orange Glory and Golden Queen looks like.I know the Golden Queen is a double. So i can't wait to see what i will have.
Thanks Debra.
Well, BJ-I will have time to look at those articles tomorrow-AS I AM FREE!!! There is an investigation going on, and the text messages were the start of the harassment, the email was retaliation especially since she used one of the lines from my resignation letter in it, and she has created a hostile work environment. HR told me they would pay me until next Wed and that I didn't have to go back to work:) YEAH!!!!!
I am not looking for a law suit, I would however love unemployment....
I found this online about a hostile work environment which fits me to a TTTT:
A hostile work environment is primarily a legal term used to describe a workplace situation where an employee cannot reasonably perform his work, due to certain behaviors by management or co-workers that are deemed hostile. Hostility in this form is not only a boss being rude, yelling, or annoying. It is very specific, especially in the legal setting when one is suing an employer for either wrongful termination or for creating an environment that causes severe stress to the employee.
There’s just a handful of ways in which you can define hostile work environment. Any act of sexual harassment on the part of bosses or co-workers can be viewed as hostile. Any act or remarks that are overtly discriminatory regarding age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or disability are also considered to create a hostile work environment.
The other way a hostile work environment may be defined is when a boss or manager begins to engage in a manner designed to make you quit in retaliation for your actions. Suppose you report safety violations at work, get injured at work, attempt to join a union, complain to upper level management about a problem at work, or act as a whistleblower in any respect. Then, the company’s response is to do all manner of things to make you quit, like writing you up for work rules you didn’t break, reducing your hours, scheduling you for hours that are in total conflict with what you can do, or reducing your salary. The company’s reaction can be viewed as creating a hostile work environment, one that makes it impossible to work and is an attempt to make you quit so that the employer does not have to pay unemployment benefits.
Lastly, overt hostility that threatens you physically are hostile work environments. If you really feel that you are at physical risk because of the behavior of another employee, specifically through violent behavior or threats of a violent nature, the employee’s manner is not only hostile but also potentially criminal.
When people find themselves in a hostile work environment, they may not know how to act or what to do. Actions should be determined by the degree of hostility. In the last example, if you truly feel a threat to your physical well being, it may serve you best to leave work and report the matter directly to the police. Such documentation can then serve you if you plan to sue the company or claim unemployment benefits.
In the first case, when discriminatory behavior is evidenced, or another employee acts in ways verging on sexual harassment, most experts in this field suggest that you act immediately. If someone tells a racist joke, let the person know that it’s inappropriate; if someone says anything of a sexual nature to you, ask him or her to stop. When the behavior continues, inform management, first with a documented letter, and second with a sit-down conversation.
Most companies have policies in place to deal with this type of behavior. When management fails to act appropriately, you can sue the company. Success in this type of lawsuit largely depends on not only how management failed to help but how you acted. If you respond with hostility in a hostile work environment, chances are your suit will be unsuccessful. Studies show that in court cases, your behavior is scrutinized just as carefully as management’s behavior.
When an employer is trying to make you quit by creating a hostile work environment, if you can hold onto your job, do so. It’s then important to make complaints about this employer either to upper level management or to government agencies that help people with discrimination or poor treatment in the workforce. These agencies can vary from city to city and from state to state. A good place to start is the federal US Department of Labor, which can direct you to these resources within your particular area. You may also consider working with attorneys that specialize in suing companies for these issues. You should first check with free sources, since suing a company can be expensive, and should you lose, you may be responsible for lawyer’s fees and court costs.
We are also asking prayers from all quarters for Laura......we looked at a house today.... it needs work, the yard is a mess but it has the potential to be a beautiful place with a bit of work and they really like it. It is close to us, has a lot of flower and garden space, rhodies, holly hedge with a neat arbor over the sidewalk....there are lots of shrubs and things that we don't know what they are right now.....it is with ReMax, who is handling their present rental so they won't have to go through the application process again.......and Laura was in a doctors appointment so Sean had to see the house without her....he called me to talk while he was waiting and below is what he found watching from the ivy bed....a good omen I would say.....,
Have to run it is time for spin class.........
