I remember that year well, Jen. The year we got the house!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I think the last earthquake in NJ was in Cheesequake.

We have snow here. Tis a miracle. Now it can go away!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Snowing big flakes now. Not really much until just a little while ago.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Just took this. It looks like a black & white photo.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

That's it exactly and a very nice scene. I look out of my window and its a black and white movie when I want technicolor. Yuck! Tell it to stop and go away already.

Very pretty, but yes, my garden dreams are in color. Very light snow here now. 26 degrees.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Yes, we all need some color.

31st anniversary of Blizzard of '78 coming at the end of the week.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Thanks Jen. This is the first accumulation we've had here this winter. Like you, it's not sticking on sidewalks or roadways. No shoveling. Yea!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

blizzard of 78 - remember it well - ran track at NU and the coach sent us out for a 5 mile run - i remember trying to keep up with one of our olympic quality half milers - running into the blizzard down comm ave - after three miles he looked back - grinned and left me in the snow flakes - everyone else had already dropped back - still can't believe someone could run that fast into gale force winds

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I remember that too. Was a HS freshman.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

you wipper snapper!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

didn't stick too much here today either... only had to shovel 1/2 the driveway

re 1978: our daughter was a score keeper for the HS wrestling team, the bus driver took a short cut & got back to school safely. the school had not realize they were still out--stupid people, Got home for the next 4 days. I just heard the snow plow go past, even though our present snow is not too strong.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Nice picture Allison..love the red against the snow. You know that just made my day, one of my all time favorite things.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Nice shot Allison....was he singing? Born to Fly perhaps ;)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - I love cardinals in the snow too.

Female card?

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I'd bet yes on the girly card. Up close and personal.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thought so. She was checking her 'do' in the reflection.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

She has to maintain her appeal to the really red guy. We females have so much to do to keep the other half interested. Or we just hit them over the head with a frying pan and hope they wake up before the murder charge. Victor, have you ever had any lapses in memory? ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Can't recall any.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Ah, You're a keeper:) Lucky wife and lucky you!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks!
