was able to get the ice of the deck here and off the front walkway last week when it warmed on Friday - and in front of the garage - the lenght of the driveway is all ice - almost went sideways driving out last sunday - going to fast - got control before i hit the wall - now i go slow.........
I havent seen my deck since november and the drive way has a buildup of about six inches of ice have to be carefull coming into the garage not to slide into the door jam
and its snowing again another 10inches by tonight and more more more till sunday when it dropped into deep freeze again but looking at long range looks like above 0 for end of next week cant wait

Just came in from shoveling. I went out as soon as it started to turn to sleet/rain mix. Very light precip. The snow is that heavy wet sticky stuff that half of a shovel full stays on the shovel when you toss it. Looks like we got only 3 inches. Temp is sitting at 29º.
The kids in my town were disappointed they had to go today, but they will be glad in June when they get out earlier than the other surrounding towns. Be careful moving about out there it is very slippy slidy with all these different forms of wet falling from the sky.
im glad that I have someone that comes and does it for me with a large blower so I stay in and stay warm

Dh does the driveway with the back-hoe, but I just did a path to the bird feeder, the wood pile and the front steps. That was plenty for me.
School were cancelled North & west of Boston. Mail came early so DH could swing in the mailbox before the plows through everything over it.
all school cancelled just outside my area but for me the bus came yes peace for a few hours hahahha it was a P.A day on monday so three days home happy to have my darlings back in school

I heard on the news at lunch time to expect thunder lol havent heard any but sure do have enough snow started at 7 am and now we have about a foot and more coming

We are getting a lot of rain now, and temp is 37, so it's above freezing, but it's supposed to go down to a low of 25 tonight. I'm hoping all the snow will melt away. I'm sure more will be in the works for us, though. We started out with nice snow, but then around noon it changed to rain. Oh, well, what can you do? Nothing. Can't change what the weather brings us.

We had 41/2" of snow, then freezing rain---my computer crashed! The driveway was the ultimate skating rink until the man came to sand it---I will get out of this house today!
Back to sunshine today. All the rain has frozen over night so a nice layer of ice on top of the 3" or so of snow we got before it switched over. Should get a nice amount of melting later though with a high predicted in the upper 30s. It is only 29º right now with a light variable wind.
I hope we get meltin, the driveway is slick. It's bright & sunny, but no warmth.
