Yesterday my poor PT Cruiser, which was beautiful, got all banged up. Someone lost control in the snow and crashed into me. I am so sad over this. I hope it can be fixed as good as new. I only had it a little over a year. Here are some pics of the damage.

I'm waiting to hear about that on the insurance. I contacted my insurance company today to report it, and they will call me back to schedule an appointment to assess the damages to my car.

Oh bummer, Karen. Sorry to see that. My wife was in a scary accident last week. Hit an ice patch, slid across two lanes, did a 180 and hit the median guardrail. Luckily not hurt and no other cars involved. Badly shaken though.

That's a big tree!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Wow, Mona, that's just awful! Peanuts compared to my little accident. Now I don't feel so bad, but I feel bad for you. Did he even bother to offer to pay for hospital bills or replace your car or anything? People like that make me sick.

actually he tried to lie to the police and the office got really mad at him and told him to shut up and go back to his vehicle, and he did not say sorry or anything my sisters insurance had to pay for her vehicle she was driving and my hubbys insurance paid for my glasses and a few other expenses thank got we have medical coverage in canada I have to have two m.r.i.s the day of the accident and so many x-rays I dont remember if it was 14 or 15 of them and then the next day my lower stomack the skin started to look like big hicky so ultra sounds had to be done since there was minor bleeds from hip bone to hip bone from the seat belt by the time it was all done it would have cost 10s of thousands of dollars

but things are better now and hoping to be gardening by april nothing stops me

by the way did I say that we had just been going down the road to get fresh apples at the orchards man that was some expensive apples hahahhahah

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

You're lucky you have good medical coverage. I'm s.o.l. if I had to go through all that. I have insurance, but it only covers some of the expenses. Then I get billed for the rest. Better than nothing, but I always hope I never have to go through anything like that. I would be paying off the bills for years.

It's really great you can have such a good outlook on things in spite of all that. It really helps.

scicciarella ! back to cyclamen, If yours is the coum variety they should be ok for Z5.
Shelly assures me those are hardy.
I am most cencerned about the other so-called sun varieies from Seneca Hill. Shelly had no info about them.
I'm going to go for it anyway.
There will definatly be reports.
Karen sorry about your car.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

mona - you certainly keep a positive attitude - i can't believe the Saudi did not help out with the medical bills.

Karen - make sure you have the other person's insurance fix the car - if you are not satisfied make a fuss - i used to work in insurance years ago - they try and screw everyone - make noise - speak to the manager until you are satisfied.

Great job on the tree - that was a big one - looks like good firewood for next year.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

it should be fixed at the dealer since it is a new car
